The first time we used her services, she pet sit for our dog and two cats. She came over multiple times (At no additional cost) before the trip to help our dog get more comfortable with her and really went the extra mile to make our first experience great. Since then, we have had her cat sit multiple times. For most trips we plan ahead of time and she has always been available to stop by daily. But for one of them, we texted her the night before, and she was available to cat sit for a week starting the next day. No questions asked. Talk about great customer service! If you're ever looking for a cat sitter in the area, we would recommend Stacie 200%. She really seems to care about the pets and really seems to go the extra mile to make them comfortable while being away. The best part is, Stacie is the one you will get when you call. Not some random employee that is just working a job to make money as a pet sitter.

I'm surprised this is the first yelp review!…read more LegUp has been a lifesaver. Our dog Taffy goes to playgroup at Leg Up 2 (sometimes 3) times a week when I have very long work days. I get home too late to pick her up from other doggie day cares, but I don't have to worry about that with Leg-Up, because the service picks her up and drops her back off at home. Toby, the owner of LegUp, brings the dogs (I think there's a morning and afternoon session) to a private dog park in Greenbrae. And Taffy is so happy! She has started waiting and whining by the door when she thinks Toby is on his way. The socialization is great for her. She loves dogs and going to LegUp has made her comfortable with pretty much every dog she meets. She has even almost started fetching, after playing with the retrievers in her playgroup. Toby is really accommodating and LegUp is more than reasonable. About four hours of playtime (and transportation) costs less than the going-rate for a half hour to an hour long private walk. I also have had my schedule change at the last minute and Toby has been able to add Taffy to the group for an extra day during the week with less than a day's notice.

Since we have rescued dogs they are a little afraid of people as they were abused. No problem at all for this super star. Very gentle with the dogs and we had no issues at all. Super fast service he had both dogs done in 2 hours flat and everything was done from nail trimming to glands expressed. They smelled so good for and stayed smelling good for almost a week and a half before they started to just smell regular. We have decided to go on a schedule and the dogs are serviced every other month since we have them cut to the lowest number. It works out perfect and always on time and they have never missed an appointment. Highly recommend if you need a hood groomer this is your guy!

However, the groomer shaved far too close to the skin, leaving painful red, rashy areas that became pus-filled. While I expected a shorter cut due to the mats, I did not expect our dog to come home with skin damage and discomfort. It's clear that she needs more experience to handle these situations safely and with proper care. A skilled groomer should be able to manage mats while still protecting a pet's health and comfort. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. We will not be returning and want other dog owners to be aware of our experience.

Grooming is bit on the expensive side but I've never been charged more than quoted - if this is happening to you, I would recommend getting it writing. All I can say is that our 7 year rescue poodle comes back just as happy as when we drop him off.

One of them (15y/o) has been going to Romar for over 10 years, the other (1y/o) just a couple times last year. The second I turn up the gravel road for Romar, my dogs get so excited! I consider this place a doggie vacation spot because there is so much room for them to run around and play. It's totally worth the drive up here to know my dogs are safe, sound, and most importantly super happy. My only complaint is my younger pup has come home from Romar with a couple ticks before.

Even tho my husband had visited with the owner and introduced our dog to her, prior to making arrangements, to confirm that she would be ok with her staying there- when I dropped her off a couple of weeks later both the owner and the help denied that they agreed to take her out by herself (yeah, she's elderly and needs a little special care) and come close to rejecting my dog. I think they were afraid of her age (she's home sleeping now) and maybe she would die on them, who knows. I had to call my husband ( who already had flown out) who convinced Marsha to board our dog. I wouldn't have left my dog here, except that I was 3 hours from my flight time and had no other options. It all turned out ok, except that I left there in tears as the way I was treated by the staff completely stressed me out. Needless to say we haven't brought our dog back and now board her at a different Novato b&b who "gets it".

My dog and I are rarely apart, he is my ESA and I had a very tough day while he was gone. When I picked him up he looked so tiny, and was jumping up and down with excitement when he saw me.
