Also the space is not good - I walked out initially after opening the door thinking I had to be in the wrong place. Not luxurious, not super clean, seemed like an afterthought.

When good employees consistently leave, management should take a serious look at what is happening behind the scenes. Customers may be great, but retaining quality employees is also a leadership responsibility. This is actually the second location where I've experienced poor service, and that is concerning. I would strongly encourage management to invest in leadership and employee-relations training, listen to their employees, and identify why good people are leaving. As someone who teaches leadership and employee relations, I would be happy to recommend a few of my courses. Sometimes the issue isn't the customers, it's the workplace culture and how employees are being managed. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customers deserve consistent, professional service, and employees deserve a workplace that makes them want to stay. This is a modest girl who has a high regard for correctness. I am horrified that rather than an apology, I get a lecture letter on why you might have been right. I specifically asked to keep my length, several inches were cut off without any consultation. On top of that, my haircut was extremely uneven and choppy--all right before several important events. This is unacceptable from a senior stylist especially at the price point this salon charges. Thankfully, I called the salon, and the team was able to schedule me with a different hairstylist who completely saved the day. I'm grateful for how they handled the situation, but it doesn't change the fact that my wishes regarding both the style and the amount of length removed were not respected. It also required additional time and effort to schedule a second appointment, not to mention the emotional distress I experienced. Hair is a very personal thing, and I hope every client is treated with the care, attention, and respect their preferences deserve. I also found Brian's demeanor during the appointment to be less professional and attentive than I would have expected. I'm sharing this in the hope that it's taken as constructive feedback so future clients don't have the same experience.

There are a few other estheticians in the area who offer dermaplaning; however, the level of education and experience required to perform it safely and effectively can only be gained over the many years of education and experience Semia has. I would never trust anyone else to place a scalpel on my face. And, the results...WOW! After my second treatment with Semia my mother-in-law said I looked 5 years younger since the last time she saw me. *Blush :) As if it could possibly get any better, the treatment includes a relaxing neck and scalp massage. I enjoyed the friendly attentive staff and Ashley's professionism and cuts (obviously as I returned several times). Hearing that Ashley had transfered to Bee Cave/Lakeway I went ahead and made an appointment there yesterday (Wednesday April 30 at 10am). I was told Ashley had upped her price by $10 in an advanced email prior to my appointment. The email also stated that any NO SHOW of my appointment would result in a 50% charge on my credit card on file. The total drive from my home to Wild Orchid was over 45 minutes. Upon arriving a few minutes before my appointment time, I was greeted by at least 3 people offering me something to drink, which was greatly appreciated for the customer service. But after waiting for nearly 10 minutes for Ashley to show, I left because Ashley didn't call, text or notify anyone anything about her NO SHOW. And still today, I have yet to hear of any apology or excuse as to why she didn't show or call. Not a word from management either. I should expect a 50% refund from my last appointment. Neither was I offered a included hair wash with any of my previous appointments that I was unaware it came with the cost of the cut. I thought I'd found the one stylist I could depend on to do my hair the way I wanted and was willing to travel over an hour and 15 minutes round trip to get. But I will NOT be going back to Ashley nor Wild Orchid for anything UNLESS they make this right. So far, I've heard nothing.
