When I first came to Juneau, I had a hard time finding a place to get my haircuts. All the places here want to know how thick and long your hair is before giving you a price. What a ripoff! I finally found Tiffany and she is by far one of the best in town. I have thick, curly hair and she knows exactly how to deal with it so it doesn't turn into a mullet. I also had her do highlights and they turned out great. She also has availability past 5 PM which means I don't have to take off work for a haircut. She also has a very kind and fun personality. I came to visit Juneau a few times this spring/summer to visit my boyfriend. I needed a bit of blond back in my life and Tiffany spruced me up! My expectations were far exceeded. Aside from her humor, cute salon, good products and fun background music- most important was her attention to and execution of what I wanted. Tiffany's rates are reasonable and she'll get you in and out quickly. The salon is a little tough to find and more signage would be helpful. Tiffany gave me an amazing haircut -- on par with salons from larger cities. I have very thick hair (density-wise), and she managed to give me an excellent shape without thinning. She was very kind and great to talk to; unlike some stylists, she didn't ramble on and question every detail about my life. I don't get my hair cut very often -- maybe two or three times a year -- and she didn't harass me for that. She explained enough about what she was doing for me to understand and be certain it was what I wanted. The atmosphere was a bit quieter than most, since she has her own room: for me, this was a plus. Lastly, the pricing was exactly what I expected it to be, which was very reasonable. I've lived in Juneau since 2005 and had my haircut now 4 times with 4 different stylists. On my 4th try, I have finally found the one. Tiffany was awesome! She was quick to return my call and was easy to work with on appointment times. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. Showed her pictures of how I wanted it cut and I got it. Tiffany is very easy to work with and has an awesome personality. Just had my hair cut this morning and all ready I've had a ton of compliments. I will no longer wait 4 years for another cut.
