I'm really not a salon type of guy but lately Ive been getting into taking care of myself working out and eating better. Living in Westfield I was driving down South ave going to Cranford and saw a grand opening sign with a cool Marilyn Monroe type logo on it. Had some time before my next meeting so I gave it a shot. They have their own parking lot in the back as well as the entrance. I was curious as to how this would be being that my haircuts normally consist of about 5 mins and just an in and out service. To my surprise I was greeted as soon as I walked in offered a beverage and welcomed to services and to come explore the space. Definitely much more than your average salon it looks great inside very modern yet inviting and they also have a second floor which they say will be a bridal loft and an educational center for clients and teaching other stylists. Back to my haircut I was introduced to Caitlin who actually talked to me before my haircut and she shared what she thought would work best for me. Gotta admit was a little different than what I was use to but she showed me how to style it and recommended a paste from a brand R + co which worked well. When I got to my meeting and throughout the day everyone commented on how good my new look was. Bottom line Im a fan now and will be frequenting my new stylist Caitlin. read more

A business partner mentioned this place to me and decided to get my hair done for the season. Prior to my appt, I checked out the reviews here and I was not disappointed. You come in and you feel like your in a very high class salon. You are instantly greeted, with a smile and warmth, and once your checked in they offer you a refreshment. The owner and partner are very well interactive with all their clients in the salon. It's not just a one stop then go spot. Jose was the one who cut my hair, and he took the time to consult what would work best with my hair and what type of lifestyle I had... Because over all, your lifestyle will effect the maintenance of your hair. I had a few things done so I was there for a few hours but it didn't feel like it was a nuances. It's a fairly new location but lots of opportunities will be in store! Check them out for yourselves. Pros- Ample parking in the back, entrance is also from the back. Very homey and warm environment. Staff after very hospitable. Products used are exclusive and does wonders with your hair. I had to come back and buy down products a few days later. read more

Caitlin is aces. She can turn a dreary depressing day into pure sunshine. I walked out with a pep in my step, feeling confident and good things just started happening with my day. I discovered this place when looking for a spur of the moment blow out for an important meeting at work/date night with husband later that evening. My usual salon was booked. My nickname from LA days in my 20s was Bombshell so I figured...how apropos? Caitlin found an age appropriate way to make me not look like such a frazzled mom. Love that! I ended up getting so many compliments with my polished, hip look that I went back to get a package of blowouts (makes them even cheaper.) I use them whenever I need a hit. It's pretty easy to get an appointment, too, which is nice. Recently went in for highlights and was very pleased with the outcome. I fell asleep when my hair was being washed. Pampering is essential when you're busy and tired. Also...they give you water/coffee and it's never too crowded. No attitude at this place. Tony is also wonderful. Exceptional customer service. I am loving Bombshell Hairdressing! It's a full service salon, (Bridal services too) with an amazing staff and excellent customer service. Tony has been styling my hair for over 12 years and I've recommended over a dozen friends and family because I always leave happy. All are impressed with his talent, professionalism, honesty and ability to keep current with the latest techniques and styles. He and his crew always color and highlight my hair "just right" and I often receive compliments regarding how natural my hair color looks. Not to mention that they are SPECIALISTS in curly cuts and use only the best products like Oribe. Recently, I was thrilled with the outcome when I had a blowout done for a formal affair and my hair looked phenom, silky smooth. I have had my hair cut and colored at Bombshell several times, once by Tony, the owner, and the rest of the times by Jenny. The salon has a very nice atmosphere, very classy yet comfortable and welcoming. I have short, straight hair which is not always easy to style. I brought in my pictures and they both knew exactly what to do with my hair to achieve the look I wanted. Jenny especially takes extra time to discuss the previous cut, what I liked and didn't like, and what we want to do differently. She is meticulous! (She also does a great job with long hair and up dos, which is her specialty!) Also, my color needed adjustment and they were spot on with their recommendation. My hair looks great and I've gotten many compliments since going to Bombshell. I recently relocated to FL but am waiting until my next NJ visit to get my haircut at Bombshell! read more

My engagement and wedding experience with Bombshell Bridal was absolutely incredible. Lacey was the main person that I started with. She is a talented, neat, meticulous professional who really listens to all of your needs and concerns. If there is something that you do not like she really takes the time to fix everything until you are completely satisfied. I started using Bombshell just for wedding makeup. After some time, Bombshell did my entire wedding (hair and makeup) for all of us and Lacey wound up becoming my personal hair stylist. I use her for special occasions as well as everyday hair. There is only a few days a month a mom gets time to herself and it better be worth while or we end up getting annoyed! We I went to Bombshell to get my hair colored, cut, and a blow dry. I was left speechless! First off the experience was wonderful! But ultimately what I looked and felt like was even better! It has a spa like feel with amazing artists! NOT your regular Hair dressers. Jenny from Bombshell Hairdressing did my hair for my wedding as well as my daughter's hair. She has also done my hair for another wedding where I was a guest. Tony is a gem. He did my hair for my wedding, as well as my mother and sister's hair. I had a long veil that needed a strong yet elegant updo, and boy did Tony create just that. He makes you feel so welcome at the salon and really understands what will look best for your hair. I was so pleased with my hairstyle for my wedding... It didn't budge, or tug, or feel heavy. Tony even showed my sister how to affix my veil to my head, and she did it perfectly when the time came. So grateful! read more

Bombshell is Amazing! Jason did my hair today second time cutting and styling, first time coloring. My hair looks amazing, the cut and style are perfect the color is exactly what I hoped for. I came in for an appointment with Jason to add blue to my hair and I came out like a Blue Haired Bombshell, my hair feels so soft and has lots of shine. The ambiance made me feel like a celebrity and he made me feel so comfortable. I loved the he educated me on how to take care of my hair and recommended products to keep my hair color.
