The quality of my hair has also improved, it's falling out less and is very soft and growing out nicely and quickly. I have been using the hair oil she sells in the salon (Ruhe) and I think that's helped a lot. I also enjoy the aesthetic in the salon, lots of plants, quiet (She only takes 1 appointment at a time), low music. I'm not much of a talker during a haircut and Kelsey respects that. My appointments with her are always very relaxing and as I said previously, my haircuts are perfect and my hair looks so good. She is definitely worth the price (which isn't that expensive in my opinion).

I asked for as many highlights as she could do and asked for my hair to be very bright. I did not get that. I am so upset I sat in my car crying for 20 minuets. I told the receptionist I cant see a different at all from when I came in the when I left and asked why it was 100$ for this. She said toner was an extra 30$ which I did not ask for and definitely would not have gotten because I could tell before she even washed my hair that the amount of highlights would change nothing. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Overall, my hair came out great and I love it, but when I got home I realized the balayage was only on my crown. None of the underneath layers were colored. I reached out the the salon to ask what I paid for ($377 in total) and they confirmed it was for full balayage. When I asked why there was no color on the under layers I was told they book and price by the hour, so I paid for the full hour of service and not necessarily full coverage balayage. I couldn't help but feel like I was overcharged, but like I said, I like the result. I went in hoping for full balayage, paid for full balayage and I still can't help but wonder what partial balayage would look like (and cost). But the salon did offer to refund their standard $30 for the misunderstanding.

She finishes each section with pin curls, giving your blowout incredible bounce and volume. And honestly--her blowouts are the only ones that last for days! The salon is cute and has lots of products for sale too.
