Now that that part of my life is over, I'm just looking for solid OB care for my annual visits. I loved this office! Everyone was very nice, the waiting room was spacious, the exam room was small, but cozy and comfortable, and the nurse was great. I saw Kimberly Earhart because she was the only one with availability that day. It was a quick appointment but I got the result that I wanted. Although Dr. Earhart was nice, I don't think I got the experience that other people have described with the other doctors. I have a followup scheduled for the summer, and I think I'll see if I can check out Dr. Mahoney, Dr. Dausch, or Dr. Davis just to compare and see if I get a warmer feeling.

When you may be anxious on delivery day; she is calm and ready to bring your little bundle of joy into the world. After having my children; I still go to see her for my yearly check-up's. The staff who I've encountered have been pleasant and super helpful. They even reached out to my old doctor and hospital in Washington state to get all of my records as this facility does not use epic (mychart). I saw Dr. Cassidy today and she was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to get to know me and listened to any and all concerns I had. She has a great bedside manner and thoroughly explained what she was doing. While no one really likes the annual exam process, she made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Cassidy and the team at Virginia Women's center.

I am extremely upset that my experience at this office was absolutely horrible, and I will not be returning. I have never felt more like a number than right now. The lack of care is extremely disappointing. I had a procedure in this office; again, I went here because they were listed as in my network. To my surprise, this office uses a different lab and sent it to a separate Doctor to review my results. Now this Doctor who I have not seen and did not know about was not in-network with my insurance. Now I have received a $530 bill in the middle of a pandemic and no explanation as to why it was sent to someone my insurance didn't cover. The receptionist handled my phone call poorly, told me I needed to speak to billing. I asked her why I would talk to them when it was their office that failed. She then placed me on hold without telling me, which I was stuck on for 15 minutes, just to be told, "Well, did you ask what lab they were sending it to?" I am a new patient, and I assumed that this was taken care of in their office, with their lab with the Doctor that I had been seeing. If they had cared, they would have taken a better look at my insurance and sent it to the correct one since there are apparently multiple. The receptionist was busy trying to rush me off the phone at this point and told me I would receive a call from a manager and no surprise to me I have not heard from anyone. Another note I would like to make, they made a surgical appointment for me without my consent, not even a phone call other than the one I got to "confirm" the surgery. Fixing that was a nightmare because of their hours, not being able to leave a voicemail, and no email. Never have I been to an office where they just make your appointment for you without calling/asking what your schedule is, especially for surgery! I understand I am just one patient out of the many they see, but this is unacceptable. I want to stress that anyone thinking of making an appointment even though it says they are in your network make sure you ask the "correct" questions.

Needless to say when they were asking me if I was numb I kept saying no and she walks in and just starts the surgery while I'm screaming I can feel that. Thankfully they sedated me but when I woke up I was in the worse pain I had ever felt, yes worse than giving birth I ended up in the hospital 3 weeks later with a horrible lung infection (from the oxygen I had during my surger) that to get rid of I had to stop breast feeding my newborn baby which was heartbreaking for me Come to find out a few years ago I had some health issues and was corrected by my new obgyn that I didn't have a tubal ligation.
