The restaurant had a lot of cool decor and the menu had many options with multiple clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options. The food was great and the staff were lovely . As a pho lover, this place is alright. The pho tastes good, but I think it's weird they charge extra for more hoisin when normally it's just left on the table to use. I've gotten food here 3x now. I've had the pork banh mi, which was super fatty but otherwise good. I wouldn't order again for this reason. Their pho is fine. I will continue to order it from them. The main issue I am having is my husband ordered a chicken banh mi. It tasted fine, but we noticed that the more he ate, there was a horrible taste of pepper or hotness left in his mouth that wouldn't stop. We were told it was the jalapeños and we're still charged for it. It most definitely was not due to the jalapeño. A little disappointed in the way that they handled that situation. It's a cute little place that's usually quiet. Just be cautious that you may run into issues while here. read more

I've had carry out a few times, never eaten there, but all employees seem friendly and helpful. I like the food, but unfortunately I don't LOVE the food. It's good, not great. I've had lemongrass beef, pad Thai, and one of the fried rice specials. My main issue is what I get for the price. The prices are now in the crazy range for our small town. All prices hover around $20 a plate (or bowl) or even more. For food that doesn't absolutely blow my socks off, the portions are not large enough to justify this. I have a friend who's Vietnamese and she was really excited to have a Vietnamese restaurant in town. I talked with her recently and she said she's never eaten there because she finds the prices outrageous. I have to agree. read more

This place is an hidden gem. I haven't had a good bowl of pho in a long time and this place did it. They use the actual beef bone to make the broth makes it delicious, not a lot of place using beef bone to make beef broth anymore so this is a huge plus for me. Spring rolls are customizeable with options: shrimp, beef, chicken and I ordered beef spring rolls to try something different than the usual. It was unexpectedly good. Came to the area for a few days on business amd found this restaurant. We ordered the tofu fresh spring rolls, lemongrass tofu and the vegetarian pho. The server was very nice and the service was good. However, the food was mediocre. The tofu in the lemongrass tofu was well flavored but it was made with onions, and a lot of them. I like cooked onions but the onions were barely cooked so did not eat those. The portion of tofu itself was small compared to the large mound of rice and onions. The pho was bland and was mostly broth with very few vegetables, surprisingly no tofu butostly noodles. The fresh rolls with tofu had just a small amount of crunchy tofu. read more

Finally made it in to try this place out. Our server Brie was a doll, very helpful with suggestions. I love that you can tell she enjoys working here, and is excited about the menu. Everything was super fresh. My guy had the House Special stir fry which had chicken, beef, seafood and perfectly done veg that retained a nice crisp. I went to this pho restaurant a couple of weeks ago. While visiting my family in Indiana. I presently live in Texas, near Dallas. I have been to numerous pho restaurants in Arlington, Garland and other cities specializing in pho. I was in the mood for some pho and thought I would give it go here at this restaurant. When I started to order I got my first warning this might not work out. I asked for the beef pho and extra vegys. Now typically this means bean sprouts, onions, basil and some jalapeños. They said it would costs extra, which is also typical. I said ok. Oh and I wanted rare beef, just beef. When they brought out the food and laid down the rare meat. I was somewhat shocked. It was 3 pieces of meat stretched out onto a small plate. Also the broth had a bunch of vegys in it. I mean zucchini, carrots and other vegys. I asked what's with the vegys and that I have never had these in a pho soup. She said well u should enjoy. My mouth kinda dropped and she walked away. Finally I called over the waitress to ask her why I had brisket, tripe and other meats and she said that's a beef pho. I told Her I only wanted beef in my soup and they brought out 3 more pieces of rare beef. By the time I got the extra meat the soup was no longer hot so I just kinda called it a day. The service was ok. They were a little slow and I noticed they didn't come up to ask how it was. That should have been the second warning.. The ambiance is not bad... Lastly if u are an experienced pho person, this might not be what u are looking for.. and I wouldn't recommend. I did not try any of the other food so I can't comment on it. read more

Great new Vietnamese restaurant in La Porte! I had the spare rib BBQ which was amazing, and other people at my table had PHO and vermicelli chicken which they raved about. Nice beer and wine selection, friendly service, and pleasant ambiance. They don't skimp on portions or contents. Especially good were all the sauces that came with the various items like the potstickers, spring rolls, and pho.
