This is right in DT South Bend. Parking could be tricky for lunch. But dinner it was fine. Lots of spaces after work. Looks like no one stays in DT after work. Big space but we were in the front. Seems like it was an old Mexican Restaurant. We got seated right away. They had to clean off the table. We had to ask them to wipe it down because they did not. I didn't want food to come on a dirty table. Server was nice and answered questions on the menu. We ordered. I got the creamy soup appetizer and the nom nom cold noodles with goza. Both were great and delicious. The soup was hot and had lots of goza and veggies. The noodle bowl also had lots of fresh veggies and crispy. The dressing is a vinegary mix that cuts thru the fresh veggies. It pairs perfectly. The portion is a good size. I was stuffed and could not finish. I really wanted to though. If you are vegan this is a good spot for you. Lots of choices. Prices were pretty good and you got a good amount of food. The only issue was the not clean table we had to ask to get cleaned. And they did that. Oh and the bathroom was kinda messy too. So take that as you wish. But not a bad find. read more

Nom nom used to be the best! Unfortunately after it moved locations the service and food quality went down hill. The inside of the new restaurant is much bigger, but you have to wait quite a while to be served and for your food. There are a lot of windows so the inside is a little chilly in the winter. We have tried to order takeout on occasion and each time something has gone wrong or something was missing. The pad Thai had no sauce or flavor on it whatsoever. They also don't serve as big of portions anymore and took away the large size bowls. I'm not sure what happened between the restaurant moving locations, but I hope it can get back on track. We came after Notre Dame game. The service was very quick and friendly. The food was delicious. The pho was authentic and all of the toppings were generous. Their chili oil sauce has great flavor. The Ramen broth is one of the best I have ever tasted. The fried rice was a generous helping size and tasty too. The gyoza were nice and crispy and the dipping sauce was great. For me it's either your this or that, not easy to be both. For Nom Nom, either you want to be Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese or Chinese? Pho isn't too bad but, don't believe the broth is the real deal, also ordered the fried spring rolls. Might possibly the worst fried spring rolls I've ever tasted, took one bite and couldn't finish it. I ordered the spicy pad thai and it came out as mash of oil soaked and over done rice noodles. The dish had the right spice, but the flavor is absolutely missing. It lacked salt, taste of fish sauce, sweet tamarind or all the umami signature of pad thai. That dish was a tough eat. I would not recommend this for thai. read more

This was a Delivery and what a waste of money. I ordered edamame, a shrimp rice wrap and the beef pho. The shrimp wrap fell apart and was 97% lettuce. tased stale. The edamame was coated in an oil, tons of salt and was awful. the Pho...noodles over cooked and smooshie, jalapeños on top of other veggies so they were unusable. They were incredible. They're packed with flavor, spicy but not too spicy, and had amazing texture. I ordered the Spicy Bahn Mi with pork and my boyfriend ordered the Nom Nom rice platter. Pork spring roll - skip, mostly lettuce and very little pork and no noodles. Combo pho is delicious wish it had more meat.. I started just ordering just two types of meat after. Tonkotsu pork ramen good wish it had more then 3 slices of pork though very small. Soup is yummy. I used to order from here a lot when I worked nearby. I think they are closed on Monday's. We found this place by accident and stopped because it looked cute. We ordered the drunken noodles, fried dumplings, and spring rolls. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We liked it so much we went back again a week later for the loaded Asian fries, ramen and pho. Portions and price are very reasonable. Just don't plan on being in a hurry because your waiter won't be. Both times, with different waiters, we waited quite awhile just to be greeted after we sat. Honestly I don't like Pho, but this place makes a dang good Bahn Mi. My word, it was great. The add-on of fries were just as tasty! Definitely coming back. Staff was super kind as well. My friend found a 1/4" piece of white plastic in his food. Thankfully he didn't swallow it and spit it out right away. The server was shocked and gave us the meal free, but the owner never came out to speak with us. That's terrible. This could have been a very dangerous situation, and I would think you would want to assuage your customer that you too are shocked and ashamed that this occured in your kitchen. I have been going here years (including getting delivery) and at various times have found big chucks of meat in my dish on deliveries (I am a vegetarian). The place looks always kind of unclean.
