5/5 I've been coming to Bona Pizza for a while now, and they never disappoint--especially when it comes to their lasagna. It's my go-to order every time. So flavorful, comforting, and consistently delicious. Today I woke up to snow covering the ground, everything white and peaceful, and I instantly knew I was making a call-in order. Perfect cozy-weather food! For about $19, I got their lasagna, a fresh salad with French dressing, garlic bread, and a sweet tea. Sure, it's a little on the pricey side, but that's inflation for you--and honestly, the quality makes it worth it. If you haven't been to Bona yet, I definitely urge you to stop by and grab something to eat. Besides the lasagna, I highly recommend their cheesesteak sub too. The staff is great, the atmosphere is cozy, and the place is always very clean. Bona is one of those spots you can count on every time. read more

Food and delivery is fast, delicious food, which I recommend trying. I had steak and cheese sub and it was VERY DELICIOUS!

We've loved other items we've gotten in the past, and finally decided to try their namesake, pizza. Opted for our standard all meat style, large. Phone order quoted 20 minutes; was ready after 18m when I got there. Opening the box at home, it definitely looked different from your normal all meat pizza. The pepperoni was in strips, versus the normal rounds, for example. Taste, however, was right there. All the meats had good flavor, and the sauce was on point, as well. Plenty of cheese, and a not-too-thick, not-too-thin crust. Very little left for the next day. We'll have to try other pies. read more

I have lived in Reidsville most of my life. Bona Pizza was here 8 years ago when I moved back here, and I have never tried them until tonight. This is a hidden gem. We had a half Supreme and half Pepperoni, Mushroom, and Bacon Pizza. The crust was really good and not heavy. The sauce was very good. The toppings and cheese were adequate. I've been in the industry for over 35 years. This place shows all the signs of going broke and on the verge of closing down. Poor amount of ingredients, bland tasteless calzones, and they seriously gave us multi fold paper towels as napkins. Actually watched her clear another table, take the folded stack back to the back to use again! Very run down. One tv is dying, no music, atmosphere is horrible. We are in this place at least once a week and I think I have tried everything on the menu. The special that is not listed anywhere is salmon and shrimp and it is the best thing I have had anywhere!!!!! The Italian sausage Parmesan is my stand by favorite. read more

I hardly get it and usually disappointed I asked for a certain pizza they got the wrong pizza entirely and got attitude from the manager and then I drive all the way up there to get correct pizza and they took my old pizza out back and switched ingredients on the same pizza instead of making me a fresh one I also had a delivery and I live on a short street off freeway and they couldn't find the only yellow house with porch light and a guy standing in the road and eventually the driver realized he was at wrong place after I kept explaining where I lived for twenty minutes and the manager calls me and cusses me out when I was polite the whole time and even tipped decent read more

Their food can be on the greasy side but overall good and prices aren't bad, their large pizzas are around 20-40$ but they are really good.

For a town that is literally swamped with Pizza joints, this place stands out as a little more authentic than the usual run of the mill corporate pizza places. Owned and operated by an authentic Italian who waits tables, greets guests, cooks the food and cleans up afterward, don't expect stellar service or even attentive service. Just expect to get your food and an occasional drink refill. Bona offers the usual entry level Italian fare: Pizza, pastas, salads, breaded and sauteed meats, along with Sub-sandwiches and strombolies. All are pretty decent. Not stellar, but decent. There is one very large component missing however. They have no alcohol license of any kind, so no Italian beer, and no Italian wine, and certainly no Italian cordials for after the meal. I cannot help but believe that this is the reason that many dinners when other restaurants are hopping that Bona Pizza sits relatively empty. Otherwise, the restaurant is nice enough. It's small and cozy with booths and tables, modestly decorated, although they should lose the crappy 19 inch TV in the corner. They usually play music to add a little ambiance, and the lighting is a little bright for my taste. But the place has potential and could be successful with a little research and investment. They should definitely start with their ABC permits. read more

Not sure what has happened to the pizza here, maybe they changed to a cheaper pepperoni or cheese or both, but the last few times we've ordered the pepperoni pizza here there has been a ridiculous amount of grease pooled on top. So much grease I would be ashamed to give it to a customer if I were the owner. 2 paper towels completely soaked in grease after blotting 1 slice of pizza, very unappetizing. I hope they can get back to the great pizza they had just a short while ago. Until then, my previous 5 star rating drops to 3 stars. Everthing else is still great. read more

First time going to the restaurant and was a little disappointed. My co workers have raved about the place and order food all the time from here so we took a chance and order something simple... Stromboli's. To our surprise they lacked flavor. Just a simple mix of ground beef and cheese wrappers in dough. The sauce on the side was just crushed tomatoes no flavor as well. The dough was very light and airy but that was the only good thing about the meal. We will try other things but this experience left us lacking. read more

New Jersey Guy here...'born and bred'... just moved to Reidsville so we're in search of our 'Go-To' places for chow. Being from Jersey you know that I know what a decent Italian meal might taste like, especially pizza. Well, I gotta say Bona Pizza did a pretty fricken good job on it! We got an all meat pie (pie is a Yankee word for 'a Pizza'...HAAAA), calzone, and some fried shrooms and all were GOOD! Delivery was fast enough and the price was average. This place was ridiculously hot. I think the AC wasn't even working. The place was rancid with the smell of sour milk. Also seen a few roaches in the corner of the floor and wall and the waitress "Julie" was extremely rude and she honest to god smelled like fish. I ask to speak to the manager and "Khalid" was just as rude and arrogant as our waitress. Pizza was trash and what kind of Italian restaurant can't even make good mozzarella sticks? Worst restaurant in Reidsville bar none. I wish there was a rating less than one star because one star is way to much for this place. Never going back and highly recommended going elsewhere. Even Elizabeth's pizza blew this out of the water. read more

Went in to eat here. My wife asked for a beer. The waitress said we don't have beer. I jokingly asked how do you sell pizza and wings and not sell beer? As I said this I stood up acting like I was going to leave. Waitress then stormed off. A few minutes later she returned and I told her I did not mean to scare her. My Veal Parmesan was very good. My wife's Fettuccini Alfredo was not. It was very bland. She did not eat it all so I took a few spoon fulls. I pulled out a piece of saran wrap about 3" long out of my mouth with one of the spoon fulls.. Good thing it was me, I am a retired Marine and have eaten just about everything. She would of lost it if she ate the saran wrap. The Fettuccine must have been microwaved to have saran wrap in it. read more

Let me preface this review with saying the staff is truly amazing, extremely hospitable....the food is decent,the pizza is a similar style to NY, but can hardly be considered NY pizza. The sauce is way too acidic for my taste...I'm Italian, we add sugar, just a little is all you need to cut that acid from the tomatoes...the portions are average, the salad was very fresh and delicious. I'd eat here again but only if I'm too lazy or busy to cook myself...this place is a good standby for the salad and the staff especially. read more

The chicken wings are vaporized. Not moist at all, no meat on drumettes. Used to be good, but not any more.

Went here for lunch because I wanted to try something different and was absolutely amazed between the staff and the meal I will definitely be going back the chicken wings were by far my favorite they're absolutely incredible definitely recommend!! read more

I went here a few nights ago and have to say I was very impressed with the food here. The subs are amazing.

Great food and service! Fairly small restaurant, but one of our favorite places in town.

I loved this place until the last few visits. Once, we were seated and no one ever came back to wait on us. After 30 minutes we left. Last night, their hours are posted until 10:30 pm but when we were seated at 8:30 we were told they were slow and would close at 9. Service is bad for some reason now so we probably won't be back. Decent pizza, pasta from a box, sauce from a can....meh. First time in I picked up my order of baked ziti and a salad. The lettuce was shredded almost beyond recognition, and the dressing was bland. They said the dressing was greek, but it was certainly Italian. Not that it matters, just say you don't have greek dressing. The bread was wrapped so tightly in tin foil that it was totally squashed. All in all it was just disappointing in a frozen meal, not prepared with fresh products kinda way. Just lazy and sloppy. I was assured by the hotel clerk that I should try them again and this time get their signature pizza. Pizza was much better than the pasta, and the bona special had some really good ingredients. But still smacked of canned and not fresh ingredients. I ordered and was told it'd be 30-35 minutes as they are only 2.5 miles from my hotel. Over an hour later I was about asleep and got a knock on my door that startled me as I had almost forgotten about ordering it at that point. All in all a servicable restaurant, but don't go here thinking you're going to get fresh, homemade foods. Which, for the price, is certainly not what you'd expect. read more

This place has the absolute best Stromboli I have ever eaten ! The owner is always right there if you have a question and he does it all, greets you, waits on you and cooks,boy can he cook !!!
