In my opinion, this Elizabeth's Pizza location is the best of the local chain as far as if you want to sit down and have a decent Italian meal. It has a spacious dine-in area, with larger tables available for groups. I've never had to wait there, and the service is generally pretty good. All that said, the food is not going to blow you away, and occasionally there will be some falters in that area. Bread might not be fresh (bordering on hard, I have no idea what causes that so quickly with theirs in particular), or you'll end up with a soup or salad dressing on the bland side. Pizza is generally good, particularly the Sicilian style, and classic homestyle Italian favorites like chicken parm and lasagna are well executed. On this most recent visit, we went for Father's Day a bit on the earlier side of lunch and were seated immediately. In general, the service was attentive and excellent from our young female waitress, regrettably, I can't remember her name. Anyhow, we both ordered classics like lasagna and chicken parm, came with a salad and bread. My Dad indicated he was "starving" (he's dramatic) to the waitress and really wanted some bread, so she brought double! Way to secure a great tip. Salad was very fresh and plentiful, and the bread was fresh this time, tasted great with a little butter and quick oil dip. Dad was very happy with his chicken parm, and my lasagna was thick and filling. Good flavor on the marinara and meat, cheesy, satisfying. This particular visit I would describe as a 5, but over time, there have been anything from 2-5... giving the benefit of the doubt here and landing a 4. Great job on Father's Day y'all. read more

I'm a Greensboro native and have been to multiple Elizabeth's across town over the years and have mostly had good experiences. However, I have to say that the Lawndale location really did a fantastic job specifically with the cheese tortellini dish tonight. You can cut the rotisserie chicken with your fork it's so tender and this is a heavy dish but the sauce was just right. Alfredo can be tricky. You can easily have too much butter but their sauce is the perfect combo of rich enough to be flavorful but not so heavy that it's not enjoyable to eat. And the steak and cheese is just a good staple but it wasn't the star of the show tonight. Kudos to chef and Lawndale location! read more

I've lived in Greensboro for 4- 1/2 years now, so I was so far overdue to visit this location. I expected to be disappointed, but I walked away very impressed and kicking myself (figuratively) for not going sooner. The service was fantastic, by both ladies who were at the bar that day. I was torn between chicken parm and spaghetti w/meat sauce, so the waitress who's been there forever suggested that I get the chicken parm with a side of spaghetti with meat sauce -- I was so delighted! I thoroughly enjoyed the meal -- I have a modest appetitite, so I was able to make 2 meals out of it. I was pleased by the freshness of the marinara that was on the chicken parm. And the chicken itself was so flavorful and juicy! I was thoroughly surprised and happy! The spaghetti was good, but I was so glad I didn't order an entire plate of the meat(less) sauce over spaghetti. Greeted with a beautiful smile from our hostess. It was not too crowded for Valentine's Day 2026 during lunch hours. We didn't mind at all. Ordered the rotisserie chicken salad and a large mushroom pepperoni pie. It was made to perfection. The best pizza pie I had in a minute. Having been spoiled and growing up in the Bronx with Italians, I don't know if I've ever eaten in any Italian restaurants outside of the Bronx that can surpass places like Gino's and Ralphs where Mama was in the kitchen, Papa was running the restaurant and the kids were the busboys and waitresses. I also like that it is just a 5 minute drive from my house. I also like the Italian vibe that I get when I go in there. I've often met my friend Nancy there for lunch. One of our favorite "go to" places for lunch. Lunch specials are pretty good, ranging from pizza and a drink to lunch size portions of all kinds of excellent Italian dishes. Nancy and I have swapped all kinds of stories over a bed of pasta or over a couple of slices at Elizabeth's on Lawndale. My visit the other night was after 3 weeks in Israel and Dubai. I had tried to get my fix of marinara when I landed in Atlanta on July 4th but the food court was so overrun with customers that the only Italian place they had was a pizza place and they had run out of pizza. Wtf? So July 5th it was off to Elizabeth's for my favorite of chicken parmesan and spaghetti, salad with blue cheese dressing and Italian bread. As usual, the order was taken quickly, prepared efficiently and correctly, and within 15 minutes I was on my way home with my favorite meal . It took 86 seconds to get into my robe, PJ.s and flip flops and pour myself a big glass of diet coke with ice. As huge as the portion was, I just kept loosening the notch on my pajamas until every strand of spaghetti went down my belly. So good! Not every Elizabeth's is alike just like not every McDonald's or Macy's is the same. But I always have enjoyed my meals at the one on Lawndale whether I dine inside or do take out. I've also enjoyed their meals like clams with spaghetti and their Eggplant Parmesan. I ordered a Cheesesteak. They give you the option of an 8" or a 12". I recommend the 12" because you'll have a good sized left over for later. I ordered mine as it is, with everything on it and the side of chips. You can substitute the side of chips for an extra fee and you can ask them to remove any toppings you may not like. What a wonderful warm lunch on a cold Sunday! Service was good and kind. I ordered the smoked chicken ravioli with a side Caesar salad. The salad was delish! Italian food is a staple for all cities, and Elizabeth's is a Greensboro Italian staple. I'd say this is the busiest of their locations, but I have zero basis other than the parking lot. For those who know, their up fron parking lot is a nightmare, competing with Hops and now Taco Mama. Thankfully they have a semi secret back parking lot that requires some stairs. It's not super easy to get to through the alley but it works. My last trip was a large family group, service was solid as normal for this location. I ordered the smoked chicken Ravioli, which was my first time ordering and was great. The sauce was perfect and the ravioli tender and flavorful. My wife got the grilled salmon salad, the fish was tasty. My brother got my favorite from here, the lobster ravioli, which comes with crab in a pink cream sauce. This is one of my salad go-tos for salads, giardineria, and homemade ranch dressing. There are several Elizabeth's Pizzas in the area and I am a fan of this location and the one off Summit Ave. The one off Summit has been closed for renovations, so in the meantime, I have visited this location and even used Door dash to have it delivered to my home. I will continue to visit Elizabeth's Pizza for my salad fixes. It's usually enough for dinner at night and lunch for the next day. I hadn't been to Elizabeth's in over a year and we decided to give it a try tonight. I'm on a low carb, gluten free diet and they have plenty of gluten free options. I'm not eating dairy right now so I opted for the grilled salmon dish. The salmon was cooked well done, which for me is over cooked. They didn't ask me the temperature I prefer, so I suppose I should have said something when ordering. I chose a side of broccoli as my side. They were very long stalks and cooked nicely and seasoned well. It wasn't plain steamed broccoli which was nice. My boyfriend had a gluten free pizza with extra cheese and Italian sausage. He loved it and said it was one of the better gluten free pizzas he's had in Greensboro. Next time maybe I won't be dieting and I can have one of my favorites there. Italian food is always a good choice to please a crowd. We had family in town for the holiday and we immediately thought of Elizabeth's Pizza on Lawndale. The restaurant's size makes accommodating for a big group easy. I have almost never had to wait for a table there. I appreciate that they have their own additional parking lot behind the restaurant, as parking in its shopping center can be a nightmare. I believe Elizabeth's is one of the better Italian restaurants in Greensboro and this is my preferred location if I want a sit-down Italian meal. It is nothing spectacular, but always solid. The bread and oil that comes before the meal is one of my favorite parts. I don't know what they do to that bread, but it is so soft and delicious. Most entrees come with a very nicely sized side salad beforehand. My mother-in-law commented that for her the salad was enough of a meal itself. I got the dinner Salmon Salad with the Roasted Pepper and Garlic dressing. It's a great option if the family wants Italian, but you are trying to be healthy. The salmon was cooked nicely and the salad components fresh. I also highly recommend any of their ravioli dishes. My husband usually gets the Lobster Ravioli, (which his brother got this time) but mixed it up with the Smoked Chicken Ravioli on this visit. He let me have a few bites and it was really good. The smoked flavor came through and I liked the pink cream sauce. The rest of the crew got Meat Lovers Pizza, Gnocchi, Lasagna, and Kids Spaghetti and Meatballs. Something for everyone! read more

Stopped in really quick to pick up a to-go order. We decided to try something different and opted for their take on a Chicago style pizza, and some cannoli for dessert. The pizza tasted great, but definitely isn't authentic Chicago style deep dish pizza. It was also very greasy (so much so that I now have a grease stain on my passenger seat) and the crust was wider than I preferred. The toppings were plentiful, the flavor was great, and you'll definitely need silverware to eat the Chicago pizza. The cannoli were very average, run of the mill, pre-made shells and filling...not terrible, but not great. First off, I normally recommend Elizabeth's because they have the best pizza in town but today was at an all time low - I have no complaints about the pizza but the sub was terrible - absolutely no cheese on it. When I'm yearning for a good white pizza l always go to Elizabeth's. I bought a small pizza which is a generous size had lots of cheese, broccoli and garlic just the way l like a white pizza. It was yummy but l think they should serve some olive oil and bread while you wait and l would have liked some EVOO on my pizza. Nonetheless the pizza was good. The waitress was quick, polite, helpful and friendly just the thing to make one's meal satisfying. Great place to eat at if you want authentic Italian food! Went to Naples and the food here reminds me of the same taste as the most famous restaurants there. Penne pulcinella and the margherita pizza are exquisite as well, leaves you full but wanting to come back the next night; the wide variety allows for many choices. I've been a regular at another Elizabeth's for many years but had never tried this location. The menu is basically the same and chicken parm is my favorite Italian dish so I went with that. A bit pricey at $13 for one small chicken breast and spaghetti with marinara. I added a small garden salad for $6 so my bill was over $20 for lunch, with water to drink, not a great value. The salad was really great. The menu says it has olives but you have to ask for them now, not automatically added anymore according to my server. Why don't you change the menu? Olives are the best part of any salad IMO. Tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, red onion and excellent ranch made a nice start to my meal.
