I have used bonanza twice since purchasing my home with a septic system, and I would recommend them any day of the week! Their guys are always friendly and helpful. On our first encounter with them, the lids for my tanks were not dug up, they helped us uncover them Quickly and got the tanks emptied and then inspected. Three years later, it was time for the tanks to be emptied again, and this time I had them install a riser over my second tank. This will make them easier to access in the future, as I had a hard time locating the lids to dig them up this go around. They are quick and make a smelly job not so painful, and did a beautiful job installing the riser and then even pushing the dirt back around the lids for me. read more

I set up a first time appointment for pumping and confirmed I was on their schedule for that particular day. Turns out, they weren't even open that day. They no showed and left me standing around missing work for a 5 hour window that they gave me for a day they didn't service. Nothing on their phone message stating they were closed and no follow up. I called again the next business day and verified that I was on the schedule and they just said, "we weren't open that day, sorry". Terrible service, bad management and disorganized. I would recommend using someone more reputable. read more

Removed lid to inspect, tank level after 10 years of use, level of solids seemed high. My neighbor was having their tank pumped, prior to selling, so I went across the street, and talked to Travis (doing the job) he told me he'd take a look at my tank, the covers were at surface level. Travis agreed that pumping was needed, and he could fit me in today. I called the service desk, to get an estimate, which was very reasonable for pumping and disposing of the waste in my 1000-gallon septic tank. Travis had to work me in between jobs, I'm happy to report he did an excellent job, was friendly, and even added a few screws to the lids to get a better seal. I highly recommend Bonanza Septic Service, and Travis for prompt service and attention to detail. read more

At one point I would've given them a five star but because they won't return calls or show up to appointments on time or at all oh I have to reduce this down to a one. If they ever return my calls maybe I'll up it it if they show up for an appointment then maybe I'll give them a few more stars. They told my client exactly where they had to dig for a third lid in which we don't believe there's actually a third lid And of course he dug and dug and there was no other lid. read more

Update to their response. This is the first I've heard I had an appt 12-5. That confirms the poor customer service. I'm not going to tit-for-tat with the office manager. A number of colleagues have shared similar experiences and that they will never use Bonanza again. The most admirable thing to do is to try to right a poor experience your customers had, but Bonanza did not. Beware Bonanza for your septic survey when buying/selling a home. They struggled to remove one of the lids on the tank of the home we are purchasing during inspection. So the worker punched a hole in the lid and then placed a loose paver brick atop the hole as the new permanent lid and simply backfilled. When we complained to the office, they stated this was "standard practice" and refused to address any solution to fix it. As this is Bonanza Septic Service "standard practice" we're going to another septic company. I suggest you do that too. read more

Edit: the owner looked back on old program notes (old owners), updated the new system, corrected tank size and went above and beyond to fix the mis communication and problem. I was impressed with his customer service as a customer complaint can be axhuasting and hard to take the time out of your busy day to deal with, he handled it better then most and I really appreciated it! In 2018 we used Bonanza for our move in pump, inspection and a cap installation. We got a call letting us know it was time to pump again. (I'm assuming this means we are in their files) so I called back and asked them how much this would cost. I was told 350 to pump 85 for disposal. Great let's get on the schedule. The next day they came out and pumped. That night my card was charged for $750. Over $300 then I was Informed of the day before. I called and emailed and was ignored. I called again and spoke with 2 employees. They then proceeded to tell me my tank was bigger then I told them and we only had 1 cap so it cost me more. Mind you I didn't tell my tank size because I have no clue whst size my shitter box is! And I've only ever had the one cap and never been charge 250 fee to dig the other end IF I had known I would have dug the hole myself. It they had me in the system to call me and remind me I needed to pump then I'm assuming my previous pump, tank size and cap amounts would have been in their file as well and when I called to get the qoute they would have better informed me with a more accuate price. Further more it would have been appreciated if they had called me with the drastic price increase of over $300 before they did the job or charged my card with out my authorization. Communication is customer service thats all I expected was a more appropriatte heads up on the $300 added charges to.my account. Ive lived on septic my whole life and have never been charged so much for a standard pump, not even from Bonanza untill now. I don't mind paying for a job well done from any small business. These days it's just a hard pill to swallow to be be told and expect 1 price and then with no notification be charged and additional $300 on top of the original spoken price read more

We have used Bonanza Septic once before with no problems, but I wish I had read the reviews again after 5 years. We had a terrible experience this early March as they punctured an underground sprinkler main line by punching around the area to locate the underground tank lid. We noticed the problem when we turned on the sprinkling system in late-April and water bubbled up in the area. When I called to report this, an abrupt and rude young gal said she would have the "operations manager" call me back, which did not happen. I then called and scheduled a site visit which was a no-show by them on May 9. I believe the "operations manager" and the gal who answers the phone are the same person. On this second call, she begrudgingly agreed that I could email pictures of the damage; upon receipt of the email she promptly emailed back and asked for a copy of the repair bill from our lawn maintenance company, which I sent. When I didn't hear back after 3 days, I called yet again and the same gal said: "The owner asked that you stop calling us. There is nothing we can do for you." and hung up on me! Needless to say, I was shocked, and plan to pursue this issue by different means. This company gives entirely too much power to the gal who is the first contact. I wonder if the owner knows such things are happening and if incidents are even being reported to him. There are many other septic service companies to choose from. I am warning everybody in this neighborhood of 200+ houses to use a different company than Bonanza Septic. Word-of-mouth is powerful! read more

Bonanza did the septic survey when we were buying our house. (We the buyers did not choose, it was seller's deal.) The report we received was very short and had little information. After being in our house for just over a year, we decided to have the septic checked and pumped for our own piece of mind. Upon digging up the lids we discovered one was damaged (the corner is busted off), and the other was not placed properly and allowed dirt to fall into the tank. All of this was prompted because there was some sinking occurring near one of the lids. Between a report that DID NOT accurately document the damaged lid and contact with the company being flaky, we will not use them again! I would not recommend Bonanza septic. read more

They did a great job once they got here. We were given a window of 10:30-12:00, called them at 1:00 and 2:00. Technician got here about 2:30. I totally realize that jobs can be more difficult and cause delays but Bonanza should have a policy to call when they are going to be this late. read more

One of the WORST customer service experiences I've EVER had!!! I should've canceled my appointment right after I made it, as the gal who claims she is the office manager was rude from the get-go. Today I had a septic service scheduled in the window of 12 PM to 5 PM. When I made the appointment she stated she would add in the notes to call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Today, they showed up at 8:30 am. My husband was getting ready to expose the covers. Since they showed up way early he did not get a chance to do it, therefore they charged an extra $170 to do this when he was the one digging. When I called to talk about the time frame that the appointment was originally scheduled, the office manager gal stated that she confirmed my appointment yesterday, which she did not. She also proceeded to tell me that she has better things to do than to listen to my concerns and they don't ever tell people they will call before arrival. Oh, and apparently I was told there's a extra $10 fee for using your credit card. Customer service is so very important, I will NEVER use this company ever again!! I used Bonanza exclusively for the past 4 years as a Realtor. Up until recently I've had a positive experience. Now the fees are much higher and the service level is very poor. Nothing against the techs that came to the properties but dealing with the front desk is a joke. Can't seem to get reports sent out and when they do, they are incomplete. read more
