Typically, I order my tried-and-true, consistently delicious Banh Mi sandwich. Today, by accident, I ordered the Special Combination Banh Mi sandwich, which was quite tasty. The Combo Special includes ham, jambon (another kind of ham), and bologna with fresh veggies, pate, and butter on a soft roll. The ladies knew I don't usually order the Special Combo as my normal order. I appreciate the fact that the staff knew my regular order. This place is so cute! There's parking around the back and a back entrance. The front has an adorable patio we will be sure to visit in the summer. The ladies who were working were SO sweet. They were slammed with orders but made sure to thank us for our patience and got to us as quickly as they possibly could. We ordered a few different smoothies with various popping bobas. The bread is freshly baked, meat is well-seasoned and they stuff their banh mi with lots of fresh herbs and vegetables, just like in Vietnam! To me, Bonbon Tea brings that authentic flavors and their banh mis are very similar to the ones you would get in Vietnam. They have many choices for bubble tea as well. I can recommend this for the boba. I can't recommend it for the sandwiches. They aren't bad, there are just better options in the Harrisburg area. For the boba. They have a pretty wide selection of flavors. One person got the traditional milk tea with boba. I got my favorite boba, the Japanese matcha milk tea. Someone else got a mango smoothie and the other person got the jasmine honey boba. They do their best to adjust sweetness. I like my matcha bobas with very little sugar and they did a pretty good job. I didn't measure the amount, but it looks like the larger size is a better deal for just $1 more. Overall, not bad. Stopped by here to get some boba with some friends after they highly recommended the place and really enjoyed it. It's a small shop but the staff is super friendly and I thought the boba was great. I got the passion fruit tea with tapioca and it had great flavor, wasn't too sweet and the tapioca were cooked well. They also had Banh mi that looked awesome, but I didn't try today. The Boba was very good... We also ordered Grilled Chicken Bahn Mi sandwiches - they were alright...instead of grilled chicken it had shredded chicken and was light on chicken too. Everywhere else we've eaten Grilled Chicken Bahn Mi (in DC, Baltmore, here in HBG, NYC etc.) it had the Vietnamese grilled chicken (as in the browned one) but this one didn't have it.
