Although this wasn't our first choice (which was closed due to a pipe burst), it was a tasty choice. The wind was biting and this restaurant was cozy. The food was as good as it looked in the attached photos. We were seated quickly and the staff was responsive!

Quite a selection of seating: hightops, bar, and accessible tables.

After striking out on food at kung fu tea on this same block, Jeremy decided on bonchon. We waited about 20 minutes for our order. At least is was wonderfully cool and pretty much empty inside, so I didn't feel like I was in the way while we waited. I suppose people usually wait at the bar, but that doesn't work for people who rely on wheelchairs. He ordered tenders but did not get tenders. I don't know why it's so difficult to check your order before leaving the restaurant, but I rarely remember to remind him. He said the wings he received instead were tasty, but we were on the move and he had been looking for something to eat while we were in rush hour traffic trying to get to pasadena. It was entirely too hot to ride with the windows down in order to chuck the bare bones onto the median. He ate his sandwich instead. Though he didn't get any ketchup so the fries sat there looking all sad at me... Jeremy doesn't eat fries that often but I love them. However, unless you're Thrashers boardwalk fries, I'm gonna need ketchup. I find bonchon a bit expensive for what it is, and don't usually eat here. I suspect it does pretty good business in Columbia, though. Personally, if I want spicy chicken, I prefer Angry Joe's, which is right around the corner.

Top notch Korean fried chicken. Lots of appetizers that are all great. The sampler is $35 son of you come with friends, it's worth it. Otherwise you leave with lots of leftovers. This place has a bar. I like the fig bombs. And that I can come alone and chill.

Restaurant was a lot more casual than I expected. I had to ask for the booth to be wiped down. But the service was good. Our server was extremely friendly, accommodating to requests, and brought the food out quickly. I only ordered the chicken because social media raved about it. Mixed 6 Piece - 8/10. I got half soy garlic and half kbbq. Both were delicious; the soy garlic pairs well with their ranch and the kbbq pairs well with their spicy mayo. The chicken was just as crispy and tasty as everyone said. I was a little disappointed that I only got one flat wing because I was expecting four. However I think it's helpful for everyone to know that when they say *wing* they're referring to smaller flats and drums. Pickled Radishes - 0/10. NO! If love pickled Korean veggies like me, please skip. Mine were just wet without any flavor, no sweetness or tanginess at all.

I've been hearing a lot about this place. As is my custom, I got way too much food this 1st time cos I just wanted to try stuff. This time, it was worth it. Let's start with the chicken since that's why you're here. I got the 6pc mix: 2 drums, 4 wings. korean bbq and soy garlic flavors. At first I couldn't tell the difference between the flavors, but after my 2nd wing of each one, it became more apparent which was which. I preferred the korean bbq because it was a bit more bold, but both flavors are very good. The chicken was still crunchy after the 15 min drive home. The meat in every single piece of this chicken was tender and juicy. Every bite felt new, so this is definitely a made-to-order situation. I'm not sure they season the chicken itself; I think all the flavors came from the sauce, but it was still delicious. And I've never seen chicken legs this massive in my life. It took me 12 bites to finish one, and I was eating it as I normally would; my bites aren't small. I want to take this time to thanks the chickens for their sacrifice, and the cooks for their service. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors, and I imagine it'll be even better if I eat it in the restaurant instead of drive it home. The first thing I actually tried was the bulgogi fried rice because I knew I was just going to take a bite to see if it was good, and it is. It has the required slightly greasy mouth feel, the seasoning is very balanced, the green onion on top is always necessary cos it cuts through everything and gives a different texture and bite once in a while. I'll be finishing that dish tomorrow while I watch the House of the Dragon season finale :D The kimchi was also good. I've had lots and lots of kimchi. I can't always handle the real Korean kimchi since I'm very American, but this kimchi has a nice balanced flavor, it's not too spicy, the cabbage has a good crunch to it still. The pickled radish was ok. I wanted a bit more flavor in it, but I suppose since it's supposed to clear my palate, having more flavor wouldn't make sense? But it did just kinda taste like radish water. Maybe that's the point. It did clear the palate, though, so there's that. I came early afternoon on a Saturday and it was pretty slow. Place was clean & quiet, TVs has the olympics on, as they should have. I had to wait about 5 minutes for them to finish up my order, so I just sat at one of the nearby tables. The cashier was friendly. This will be one of my chicken places for sure.

Came here on Saturday evening and the restaurant was fairly empty. We got seated immediately and our server was wonderful. She filled our water and checked on us very often. Amazing service. The food was great too, large portions for the price. The tacos were delicious! We also ordered half spicy half garlic and the spicy ended up being way too spicy for us to enjoy and we were able to replace them with the garlic which was so kind. If you do not like spice or have a low spice tolerance, the spicy wings may be too much. While I was eating, I noticed something moving near the food. There ended up being an ANT crawling around our table which made me very uncomfortable if there were more around. It cannot be sanitary for ants to be crawling around tables. I have attached a video for proof as well. When we got the bill, we noticed that the tipping recommendations were by far incorrect. My bill was $20 and the receipt claims 15% of 20 is over $5. I decided to tip 15% which I know for a fact is $3, so I was very surprised to see it was actually $5.68, almost double of what I tipped? It is incredibly careless and bad business practice to assume your customers are stupid and cannot do math. Do better as a business because putting incorrect math on a receipt to take advantage of your generous guests does not encourage customers to return.

Date of service: 11.24.23 staff is always attentive and eager to take your order or seat you. There's never been a time when I come inside and the majority of the tables are taken. Great service! Food: Delicious and made to order. Always hot! Many choices to choose from and most dishes are shareable so you can split the cost. Ambiance: while the ambiance is not intimate the lights are dim enough to go with the decor inside. They make good use of the dining space with plenty of standing rooms for the lines that form. Gender neutral restrooms and there's always some great music playing. Added bonus: There's a bar that you can sit down and enjoy some cocktails and they offer a discount with the boba tea spot a few doors away. You just have to show your receipt. Video: check out my video eating the chicken - CRUNCH OUT LOUD!!

The chicken was just not that great. It's double fried, super crispy, so the dough is very thick. There's draft beer on top which made it tolerable.

Some good a** spicy chicken that's for sure

The table behind me said they saw something too. I told the server, Andrew and he offered to give us a discount and admitted to having a mouse issue lately. That should have been the warning sign for me but we just got our food. I kept looking over and I didn't see anything but Andrew placed the broom and dust pan near where the mouse was. So I got up to get some cream puffs and as I about to sit down, the mouse came back and I told Andrew and he got the broom and dust pan and caught the mouse and killed it and proceeded to have us pay. This is what really ticked me off. I went to the front before we left and asked to speak to a manager. The girl looked and then looked over at her friend (who probably wasn't the manager) and said here she is. I told her what happened and she said "yeah sorry, we have someone coming next week and he didn't kill the mouse, he let the mouse go right outside". SERIOUSLY? That mouse is coming right back inside! This is a problem that pest control needs to come out IMMEDIATELY! I just watched a mouse get killed/caught while trying to eat! I stopped and lost my complete appetite. I will be informing the PG county health department immediately and I will never come back here if this is how they operate. The "manager" clearly was more focused on closing and getting out at 10:30pm (they close at 11pm).

We tried out a combo meal of 6 with ribeye, sirloin, mainly beef. The servers also grilled and cut all the meats for us which is nice. All side dishes are pretty standard like most other Korean restaurants. A delicious bowl of steam eggs came with the meal, wish they would at least offer two bowls for a party of 6 and surprisingly no rice came with the combo. We had to add an extra order of steak and seafood pancake since no one was really full with the combo. I would say this place is for those who have high expectations of fresh & premium meats. You will not be stuff or over indulged because it can be quite pricey. Our bill with tips & taxes was about $55 per person. It's a bit pricey for lunch and I wasn't even full. If you never been to this restaurant before, I recommend that you try it out at least once but I don't think we will be back here anytime soon.

Given the various Korean restaurants in the area, I must say that this place is a great spot for family, friends and group gatherings. The food here is very fresh and the staff are very friendly. We ordered various dishes from their LA Galbi, Bossam, Fish and tofu soup combo, seafood pancake, spicy pork and their rice cake soup. The LA Galbi was the best we had in town. Tons of flavor and the meat was juicy and meaty. The Bossam was delicious. Pork was tender and comes with sides to help you bring out the flavor of the dish. Definitely ask for their bean sauce and slices of jalapeño and fresh raw garlic. The fish and tofu soup is really good and can be shared with others. Fish was fresh and flaky. The seafood pancake was thick and has tons of seafood and comes with a nice dipping sauce. The spicy pork was plenty and has tons of flavor. Not too spicy. The rice cake soup was surprisingly good. Tons of flavor with slices of rice cake, eggs and pieces of beef. Great for sharing especially with young kids. Overall, this place is great to check out if you are in the area. We each only had the most basic knowledge of Korean gastronomy, so our waitress was super helpful and patiently answered our questions regarding suggestions, how best to eat something, explanation of dishes, etc. We started with some Kimbab. Our waitress explained that these rice rolls are similar to Japanese sushi, but different in that the filling is never raw, and the rice is seasoned with sesame oil rather than rice vinegar. I got the Beef Kimbab with delicious bulgogi beef filling along with tofu, crab stick, pickled daikon radish, and vegetables. Delicious - would get again. My friend enjoyed his tuna kimbab and cheese kimbab (the cheese looked like processed American-style cheese - different). It was a cold day, so we both went for a soup. I went for the Yook Gae Jang and found it to be a hearty soup with some vegetables, shredded beef, and japchae noodles. A nice spicy broth warmed me up. My pescetarian friend went for Kimchi Kalguksu, a kimchi soup with clams, vegetables, and hand-cut noodles. He said it was spicy, but very tasty. We washed down the meal with some hot tea of barley and corn. It had a nice roasty flavor and they kept filling up the cups. It's a simple place inside, with some tight tables and Korean dramas on the TV. Our waitress asked if we wanted to move to a bigger table after a larger group left, but we said we were fine. The food has always been great quality and authentic hence why we've been back many times. We had visited on 4/19 at around lunchtime, ordered, received our food- when it came to payment, this is where things took a turn. There were two young ladies working the dining floor, taking orders, bringing out food, etc. I had left my card on the bill to which the waitress took said card to swipe (I have an international card as I'm a UK citizen and sometimes I have to enter chip and pin), this flashed up on my banking app so when she brought back my card I said "oh would you like me to come up and enter my pin" to which she replied "no do you have another card", so my partner handed over his card and as she was taking payment, bare in mind everyone on the dining floor can hear what is being said by the waitresses as it's not exactly a large area, she was telling her other colleague "I asked for another card because he obviously doesn't have money" to which they both started laughing and making other snarky, rude comments. When she came back I confronted her about this and showed her my banking app where it cleared said after she had swiped to use chip and pin, she went back and muttered things to her colleague whilst looking at me. During the time we were dining I noticed their attitude was just so fake, asking customers in a rude way to move tables as it's for dine in customers only, no courtesy or respect. Mind you, it wasn't even busy in there. They lost all chances of a tip in those few minutes and we won't ever be coming back. It's a shame, usually they have such attentive, kind, caring people working there. I'm not sure where these self-entitled workers came from or if they're new but if they don't want to do the job or do the basics of showing some common courtesy they should find themselves another job, perhaps something not customer facing.
