We strongly believe in supporting local businesses, which is why we entrusted Bonded Cleaners with many of our garments over the years. Unfortunately, after multiple disappointing experiences, we have decided to take our business elsewhere. Several expensive pieces of clothing were returned to us noticeably shrunk and permanently damaged. What makes the experience even more frustrating is the inconsistency in their cleaning process--some garments are apparently sent to a third party for cleaning, while others are cleaned in-house, with no transparency about how that decision is made. Most disappointing of all was the complete lack of accountability. Despite being given multiple opportunities to make things right, Bonded Cleaners never offered reimbursement, compensation, or any meaningful resolution for the damage to our clothing. Their only proposed solution was to have us bring the damaged garments back so they could attempt a stretching process. Once clothing has already been shrunk, that is not an acceptable remedy for expensive items, nor does it restore them to their original condition. We expected far better customer service from a business we had supported so consistently, and unfortunately, after giving them numerous opportunities to make things right, we can no longer recommend them. read more

I dropped off numerous shirts for wash/press. Bonded Cleaners RUINED a brand name shirt with staining they caused during first attempt to clean/press, then were unable to remove the stain by re-cleaning. Manager refused to acknowledge their culpability and failure to remediate situation, or re-imburse for the ruined garment. I WAS a repeat customer, and had other difficulties with their billing/charging before. Will NEVER return, and advise others the same. BAD business practices!!! read more

The best dry cleaners! I always receive a warm greeting when bringing in my dry cleaning or laundry. If you pay upfront, you seem to get a mini discount and I love that they'll text you when your dry cleaning is ready. it's awesome for people who are very busy and forget to pick up. I'm writing this review because I brought my engagement dress in which was full of sand from the photo sesh. I was worried but the owner/manager came over to me personally and told me they would take great care of my dress, which they did! I know many have had great experiences with Bonded as I did until recently. Took a comforter to be dry cleaned as I wanted it to retain its "new" look as much as possible. instead it was washed. Was supposed to be done before guests arrived (guest bed) but the tag fell off, they couldn't find it. Finally got it home and it was very wrinkled and I could tell it was washed not dry cleaned. No longer matched the shams in color. Returned and was told they would dry clean with shams and if still not right pay for replacement. (Not my preference) Final pick up of shams and comforter still different colors. This time owner was not as accommodating and not very pleasant. Brought them home and after putting on bed there was a strong odor. Later the whole room smelled so bad. Owner mentioned they used a petroleum product to clean, which clearly is not organic, and the smell got so bad I am now going to need to just wash myself and hope I can get the smell out. The smell is so strong and I've just never had anything like this. Not the first time I've had comforters dry cleaned but first time with Bonded. Very frustrating and disappointing. read more

They were super careful with a vintage Max Mara dress that I brought in with a closet mark stain. They followed each instruction, including a light steam press, When I picked up the dress, the stain was lightened which I would have accepted but owner stepped over, took another approach to remove it, held it for a day to steam it, and then it was perfect. read more

I would not recommend this place. I took my mom's 32 year old wedding dress here to get some stains removed as I am planning to wear it to my rehearsal dinner for my upcoming wedding. There was only two very small stains that I wanted removed and they let me know that they could improve the stains at least a decent amount. I of course know that it's not always possible to remove stains of a certain age and I was prepared for that. When I spoke to them on the phone, they assured me that if they were unable to remove the stains, they would not charge me the full price that they originally quoted me. When I went to pick up the dress, no one informed me ahead of time that they were unable to improve the stains whatsoever, and it looked exactly the same as when I dropped it off. I was pretty shocked when they asked me to pay full price as I was assured multiple times on the phone I would not have to pay full price if they were unable to improve the stains at least a little bit. Every time I was in the store there was only teenagers around who didn't know anything about company policy or how to handle customer interactions. I'm not sure who is running this place but from my experience it definitely seems like it's being run by the teenagers who work there that have absolutely no knowledge of the business. After paying full price for an item that was not improved whatsoever, I'm super disappointed and would not recommend doing business here. read more

What's cool about this place is that it's cheap and fast. I had a jacket that needed cleaning and it was just 4 bucks. They give you a 10% discount if you pay ahead of time too. Again it was fast, ready the next day. You didn't have to pay extra for that next day service either. I was surprised that they even said it would be ready in one day. "Are you sure it will be ready tomorrow?" Yep is what the guy said. Cool. This will probably be my regular dry cleaner since it is a few minutes away from work and I can come here on my random lunch breaks to take care of some dry cleaning business. I called to ask for the pricing, and I received an answer with politeness and swiftness from the person on the phone. I've never used a dry cleaning service before, and the lady at the counter was very kind to me! She told me that my dress would be clean and pressed the next day and that they would text the phone number I gave them when it was finished and ready to pick up. After realizing the overwhelming number of dry cleaner options in this small town, I wanted to use someone with a good reputation. The problem is, most people don't review dry cleaners even though they get dozens of customers a day. Solution? The Best of San Clemente People's Choice Ole Awards. Bonded Dry Cleaners have received a golden ole award for about the last 5 years in a row. That's enough credibility for me. Reliability and pricing are the two major points you look for in a dry cleaner. After only one visit I can say the pricing is average, spending $11 to get three shirts dry cleaned. I was a bit concerned when I walked into the open interior to be greeted at the register by the youngest of the 10 employees. To be honest it gave a real sweat shop production line vibe but I was still willing to give them a shot. Maybe it was just the amount of clothing hanging on the rack with a abnormal amount of 40+ year old people working on clothes in open view. I stopped over and within two days had my shirts back. Two of the three shirts were buttoned and I am not sure why the third wasn't. I didn't find any major issues with my new shirts and it seems they did a decent job. I did get a little :sadface: when I saw how sloppy the shirts were on the hanger without buttons buttoned, the sleeved pulled in and folded proper. I'll be trying them again as I need a trustworthy place to take care of my precious grown-up clothes. read more

I have been going to bonded cleaners for a few years now. I finally had to acknowledge their superior service when I brought in a formal long gown for dry cleaning . I had spilled damp rid ... A chemical product all over the dress. I needed to wear it in a few days. I was practically in tears when I brought it into the cleaners. They did an exceptional job of cleaning my dress. They even called me to tell me they got all the stains out just in the nick of time for the wedding I needed to wear the garment for. I'm not even kidding...after two months of hoping my comforter would turn up and patiently just waiting for this to work itself out i finally bought a new comforter for a third of the cost of my original. Found a great deal at Costco, $89. I went in to talk to the owner and he told me he could pay me for half of that and I was totally fine with that I said hey thats cool that's reasonable and fair. And then he proceeded to tell me it would be in credit to the store and I said I didn't feel comfortable using their services (I mean would you??) and he said then I'm not giving you anything because you're a scammer. He proceeded to tell me I was a scammer over and over. I'm a very HONEST person. I never scam or steal. It really bothers me more than not getting any reimbursement or getting my comforter back. I was beside myself. I told him that I've heard "character stories" about him basically not being the most put together guy but still I had hoped he would help me because he's a business owner. I told him to please be better when it comes to tagging and transporting items. He told me not to tell him how to do his job. Then kept mocking me. His two teenage associates stood by laughing as he mocked me and made fun of me. I was in shock so I pulled a "whatever" and I left. I never raised my voice. I am surprised I didn't cry however until I drove away. The worst part is when I walked back to my car the owner SCOTT walked out the side door and mocked me some more. Saying that I'm fat!!!! And a scammer. What a fricken terrible person....worst customer service experience/event that has ever happened to me or I've ever even seen happen to someone else. Great prices, awkward service, iffy quality. I brought in 11 items - from blouses to sweaters to dresses to scarves after reading the very few Yelp reviews. I will admit that I'm very particular about dry cleaners and leary of trying new places given the few unfortunate incidents I've had in the past. The place is large and appears to get a lot of business. The staff member who took in my order looked at each of my items in detail, buttons, sequins, care instructions. He even put one of the beads of my dress between his teeth to confirm if it would be appropriate for dry cleaning. So strange. For my other items with beading or special buttons, he gave me a verbal disclaimer that they would not be responsible for any damage that might occur as a result of cleaning. Seriously? Isn't this your specialty? Needless to say, I left praying that my clothes would survive. When I retrieved my clothes a couple days later, all buttons and beads were in place, and everything looked okay, except for one major annoyance. All of my sweaters - cashmere and wool - were hanging on wire hangers. Those of you who do not hang your sweaters to avoid the bubble created by the hanger ends on the shoulders of your sleeves will understand this. You also know that a quality dry cleaner will fold your sweaters first and hang them horizontally over the bar of the hanger, sometimes with tissue paper, because this won't stretch or damage the fabric. I didn't pay much for all the items that were cleaned, but the savings is just not worth the anguish of losing even one piece of clothing. I'm never going back. read more

When I came to pick the clothes up I noticed a stain on my collar... that wasn't there when I dropped it off. Asked if they could do something about it real quick.
