I went to Dana Point Cleaners for the first time since the change of ownership on April 24th to have 2 pairs of women's dress pants altered prior to a trip to Paris. The owner helped me and actually let me utilize the restroom to try on the pants so that he could measure them on me like a true tailor. He was very nice and patient when i requested a couple of length pinnings to compare, the alterations came out great and were completed a couple of days early. I have not tried the dry cleaning services as yet, but plan to soon and liked that all work is done onsite. From the drop off area it is easy to see the dry cleaning area as it is very organized. They also offer curbside drop off and pickup. read more

Elite is magnificent!! Kind and professional, they do a beautiful job; and, they deliver, which is especially wonderful. Once - their only mistake in many, many cleanings - they accidentally shrunk a wool flannel dress of mine. When I took it back, they acknowledged the error and miraculously "unshrunk" the dress. Elite Dry Cleaners ruined 3 very expensive dresses. I just took them back in to show the damage (snags across the front of one dress, frayed another and snagged/pilled the entire dress of the 3rd).The response is they can't do anything and I can still wear them. Another customer looked at the dresses and agreed that 2 of the dresses are ruined and can't be worn again. I was told they can't do anything repetitively until I said I at least should not pay for the dry cleaning. Around $1000 of dresses ruined and offered $40 refund. I've been coming to Elite Cleaners for many years and this is so disappointing and will never return. read more

Not sure what more you'd want in a dry cleaner. You can stay in your car while dropping off or picking up and they do a fantastic job. They address me by name even though I rarely visit. People mix them up with the disgusting run-down laundromat on Del Prado but they're behind Shwack and have nothing to do with that place. Once I brought in vintage Chanel jackets, and they happily covered the buttons and took great care in cleaning these special items. read more

Don't use this dry cleaner! I have been sending my dry cleaning here for 7 months. I picked-up my clothes and unwrapped them immediately for the safety of my young children. I went to put on my sweater and it had a big rip in the seam along the front. The tag was also ripped inside. Instead of wearing it I returned it to the dry cleaner hoping they would offer to repair it. The owner did offer to repair it but would not take the blame for it. He would not even entertain the possibility that the damage could have been done in his dry cleaner. I spend a lot of money in dry cleaning and felt as though the owner was saying that I brought damaged goods to him and was asking him to fix something that he was not responsible for. My sweater was expensive and had only been worn twice. I was very offended that he made me sound like someone who was cheating him into fixing something he did not damage. If he wanted to keep me as a customer he would at least admit that there was a possibility that the damage had something to do with his establishment. read more
