My husband and I went to Bonefish and the place was packed! But we had FANTASTIC service with Trey. He was rushing around table to table but did not skip a beat. We had our drinks and appetizers in a timely manner. I ordered my filet (and am real picky on how it is cooked) It was absolutely perfect. I am quite impressed how Trey was knocking it dead with a full house. Every table was filled. Visited yesterday for my graduation celebration. The service was great, we were seated on time. The wait staff was extremely attentive despite it being super busy. The fried calamari appetizer was fried too hard - they were hard to chewy. The shrimp scampi was bland and the rice was salty. My family and I went for lunch on 03 Feb to celebrate the birth of our baby. We had a TERRIBLE experience, the food took over an hour and half to come out, with a handful of tables. The service was horrendous, never got a refill on any of our drinks, by the time the food finally arrived, the plates were so hot from seating under the lamps. My mahi mahi was dry, hard and over cooked. The mashed potatoes had a hard crusty shell around them. The middle were soft. My moms green beans looked and tasted old and dry. There was no ketchup for my husband's French fries. The bread and oil, we had to ask to be brought out, even as the table behind us were seated a few minutes after us, they received theirs. I would have like a dessert, was never offered one, and waiting so long for our food and everything tasting dry, old as if the green beans were from the previous day and was reheated under the lamps or perhaps in a microwave. Bonę Fish is one of my favorite restaurants and I had waited and anticipated going and enjoying delicious moist well prepared seafood. Instead I got the dry button of a shoe seating in the sun for days fish. I know it sounds dramatic, but it truly was a dramatic experience for me. The service was terrible, the food was terrible, I wasn't even asked if I wanted dessert. Ambiance was quiet as few customers were there, the tables were set and the restaurant seemed prestigious. This is, HANDS DOWN, the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life! My best friend, Alyce, wanted to take me out to eat for my birthday, so we went to Bonefish Grill. We chose Bonefish because we had not been to this restaurant ever. We love food and like to try out new things. The parking lot was not slam-packed full so that meant we should not have a long wait time. Wrong-o bong-o my friend! We waited by the reception area for what seems like an unreasonable amount of time. Finally, we started off on our own quest of finding a table. We were ready because we wanted to celebrate during the day so that we would have the whole day to get our drink on. We were looking forward to some awesome food and lot's and lot's of mixed drinks. Having been a bartender and waitress in my younger days I tend to look at myself as a connoisseur of amazing mixed drinks. We are somewhat self proclaimed foodies (Food Divas), as-well. After approximately seven minutes, someone finally showed up to give us napkins and take our drink order. It's reasonable to think that they didn't even know we were waiting on service. I ordered a top shelf frozen piña colada. About 10 minutes later they brought something to my table that resembled some kind of liquid. The piña colada was so sour and watery that I refused to take another taste because if anyone has ever had a piña colada and frozen mind you then you know a frozen piña colada is thick and creamy and pineapple and coconut and just downright damn delicious. Talk about top shelf... I don't think there was any liquor in this drink from any shelf. We ordered the standard seafood shrimp plate with coleslaw and what have you. I am a very picky person sometimes and I can be a little rigid on expecting good quality food. Because our main focus was on the mixed drinks, I let my pickiness slide a little bit. The shrimp was extremely undercooked and I spit out. The person bite onto the plate and the coleslaw tasted spoiled. At this point Bonefish was a bust and we just wanted to get the hell out of there. We asked our server to have the manager come to our table and 10 minutes later the manager was a no-show. We decided we were just going to get up and leave and that's exactly what we did. On the way to the door, we ran into a lady and a young man that seemed to be her son and they were standing there waiting patiently for someone to seat them, and as we walked by, we could hear them complain that they have been standing there for 10 minutes and no one had helped them. I told the lady that she was waiting in vain and that they would have to see themselves. I also told her that if she wanted quality food, this was not the location for that to happen. I told her about my drink and my food and the fact that we just stood up and are now leaving. The lady and her son followed us out the door and decided to go to a different location for a better chance at actually receiving quality food and drinks. This was the first time I had ever stopped the customer and encouraged them not to frequent that Restaurant. Normally I don't get involved with such a situation, but I could not walk out that door without being honest to that lady and her son because she was getting ready to spend money on something that was not worth a penny. I highly recommend That they need to totally re-staff this location and they need to hire someone that can actually cook and a real bartender would be nice as well. read more

Consistency!!!!! That's the staple of a chain business. I get the Chilean sea bass every Bonefish I visit. And it's just delicious every single time. Perfectly cooked. I don't always get the Oscar topping but it was just want I needed. So good. And her recently I've been getting the jasmine rice. I also sometimes get the Asian inspired topping which also pairs well with the jasmine rice. I get the bonefish salad which is so fresh. And I had a winter white cosmo which hit the spot. The bartender did amazing with it. My dining companion ordered a lemon drop which was also yummy. She had the crab fries and Brussel sprouts. I don't think she enjoyed her food as much as I did. And of course they have top tier bread and oil with herbs. Top 3 bread choices of any chain restaurant! (Carraba's and Texas Roadhouse be bussing! Cheddars is an honorable mention.) read more

Just some clarification on some culinary rules. A bisque is supposed to be creamy, with just a little acidity. The lobster bisque I ordered was watery and I clearly tasted vinegar. Caesar Salad is supposed to be prepared with the leaves of the lettuce cut along the spine, not chopped with the spine served in the salad. The Caesar I received had lettuce that was chopped up like someone used an axe on it. Ginger and Pork Pot Stickers should be served with soy or some type of sauce, not just served dry. Ours was served dry, without any added sauce. Servers and hostesses should wear perfumes or body spray sparingly. A hostess passed our table wearing such a strong spray it overwhelmed the taste of our food. read more

I absolutely love bonefish grill, and the service they provide. Frankie, she was great, kind and knowledgeable, however this time I was very disappointed of the food I received. Around this time I love the special "swordfish and pumpkin ravioli", and this time I even got a second order of ravioli to go with my food. The swordfish came out VERY dry and the ravioli overcooked to the point I couldn't cut it in half with my fork and the plate was covered in butter. As I tilted the plate in front of Frankie to show her how much butter was on my plate, I asked why the sauce is so oily, usually it's a creamy butter sauce. I was told the recipe changed. That's very unfortunate, I did not eat the punkin ravioli and I don't see myself returning in the near future. I don't mind that lunch was $80 but I am very disappointed in the quality of the food. More than half the shells had not opened and the others were pretty fishy. We then had the chicken Marsala and Lily's chicken which we asked for without the goat cheese. It came with it anyway. Both of us had the "whipped" garlic mashed potatoes as a side. The potatoes on both were a hard lump. The meals tasted straight from a box. Staff was nice and bread was good though. Ok, great! She proceeds to spend as much of my money as possible and I just get a salad and water. Salad arrives and off the bat I'm not thrilled about the quality of the greens. I find myself picking through several dying/dead wilted leaves. And the pieces that are edible aren't as fresh and crisp as I'd expect. For $9 I could've gone to the grocery store and got a $4 box of mixed greens that are fresher and would last a few days. On a positive not the citrus herb dressing was delicious and my wife's salmon pastor was described as flaky and perfectly cooked. read more

Had the best experience again at Bonefish-almost forgot pictures. We came in early dinner hours on a Saturday and we're promptly seated. Service was great, Day was attentive and quick to get us water. Very polite and knowledgeable about menu and special offerings. I had a chance to meet the manager briefly, Chris. Awesome guy, can tell he takes pride in his restaurant. We ordered soooo much because we always love this place. Calamari, Boom Boom Shrimp and Crab Fries. They came out fresh and hot. Did I mention the ambiance? Low lighting, quiet and seating semi-private, good for seeing a relative after many years. We all ordered our respective meals, steaks cooked as ordered, just no complaints whatsoever. Topped it off with a birthday brownie for my son. Can't wait to go again. It's my secret indulgence spot but you never feel dissatisfied when you get the tab. Love the bonefish grill in Horsham PA so I decided to try the one in Fayetteville. I ordered my favorite "bang bang shrimp" and the Cedar plank salmon with jasmine rice and broccoli. The atmosphere was nice. The bang bang shrimp were barely room temperature after waiting a while to get them. It took so long for my food to come that I just tasted it and boxed it up to take home. 3 stars because the bartender was extremely nice, personable and apologetic. Although the shrimp were kind of cold, the taste was ok. The salmon was really flavorful and worth the money, just wish I could've enjoyed it at the restaurant.
