Solid choice. We just happened upon Bonefish out trolling for a good place to eat. Everything was excellent from service to dessert. Grilled scallop and shrimp with broccoli and spaghetti squash was all fantastic. Crab cakes were perfectly prepared. If you are there in the Fall months, save room for pumpkin creme brûlée. Me and my husband came here for dinner to celebrate our one year anniversary. Let me tell you, the service was horrible! They forgot about us for 30 minutes, then finally came to take our order. We ordered the steak and he came back to tell us they ran out. Which was funny because the table behind us came later and ordered steak. So basically they lied to us. Got there an hour before closing and our waiter was more concerned with doing his side work then giving professional service. We we're brought water with no glasses, the $35.00 bottle of red wine was served chilled at 52°. The waiter basically dropped off the bottle for me to pour so he could get back to closing out his section. When we asked to speak to the GM (Tyler) he wanted to engage with me over the wine temperature explaining that chilled red wine was corporate policy. I had to ask for the check 5 times before Tyler would bring it over at which time he explained to me that he would take care of the seared tuna appetizer we ordered but never received. Unbelievable!!!! So our special occasion dinner was a complete and total bust!!!! Thanks Tyler!!!!! This is what happens when a company hires a rookie GM to do an adult professional job! Bonefish grill is one of my favorite restaurants in north Myrtle Beach. Their food is always delicious and we always have a great time. However, on my last visit all the food came out at once, our order was incorrect, my steak was very undercooked, and when we asked for the manager it took about a half hour before anyone came out to talk to us. My wife and I just love going to Bonefish but I have to tell you this time around was not so good. We ate at the bar and the two bartenders/Barmaids, Britany and Kelly were nice at first but I honestly felt that because we are Northerners they wanted us out of there. It is the first time I felt that way in this area. We have a second house nearby and when we're down here we always feel welcome, however this time we didn't feel "wanted" perhaps because of our accent? or because of our love of life and our ability to laugh? "I gotta tell ya" after we ate our Bar Bites and had a glass of wine or two they asked us if we wanted dessert and when we said no they handed us our check.. So I just ordered more drinks. Very rude! The appropriate way would be to ask " Can I get you dessert or anything else?" My wife thinks that its nothing except that they have "kids" tending bar, but I think differently. The three stars are for the food that is always good. They usually would get four or perhaps five stars, but this time I am truly surprised. Hey Manager, teach your kids to engage with EVERYONE not just the local crowd! Let them have a good time and let them laugh with the customers. They'll get better tips and learn a thing or two! Visited three nights ago to celebrate my mothers birthday. Terrible from start to finish. Slow service, out of most things on the menu (including beverages), didn't come and let us know they were out until 20 minutes after ordering and then they asked us to make another selection. Forgot our salads, brought them out with the entrees. Sent a raw steak back and they forgot about it. We asked where it was and they brought it out hard as a rock (of course they had no more). We are actually still waiting for our last round of drinks from the bar because they were never brought out either. They brought out our bill and apologized and told us the price was adjusted for the poor service and food. We placed our card in with the bill for payment. They brought it back ten minutes later, slapped it on the table and informed us they had forgotten to add some items so it was actually more expensive. Never left an updated bill or told us what it was they had added. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous. You can't re-add things you supposedly comp'd and not inform the customer and then just charge their card. A complete disaster. We asked to speak to a manager. Clearly we will not be returning. read more

Love coming here - the food always seems fresh and the service is fantastic. There is a wide selection of items and things to have so it never gets boring. The bang bang shrimp is obviously a signature item and sets the stage for the meal. The only knock would be there are a few things like the scallops, that seem to be cut in half versus using a full diver scallop. Some of the portions seem a little small (shrimp and scallops) - with that said, it does taste fresh and the sauce options make it awesome. Always friendly - we come here often and really can't say we've ever had a bad experience. Which means it's a go to for us. read more

We went for dinner tonight and my husband ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, there was very little flavor and it was not cooked thoroughly. I had the Lobster Stuffed Shrimp, the shrimp was overcooked and the stuffing had too much cheese, and the whole thing was floating in butter. I ordered two drinks from the bar...the pomegranate martini was like drinking syrup and the moscow mule was too sweet. I would not go back. read more

A group of friends and I had a great meal here last night at the North Myrtle Beach location. It was probably our best dining experience while on vacation. Driving to the restaurant, I noticed that many other restaurants had few cars in their lots. Not so with Bonefish Grill. On a Wednesday night at 6pm it was packed with people. With luck, we were able to get a great table. Our server, Ryan, was friendly and helpful. The Bang Bang Shrimp, at a special price of only $5, were phenomenal. I really didn't need a meal after eating them. Spicy, creamy, and full of shrimp flavor. The entrees at our table were Grilled Scallops and Shrimp, Wild Grouper, and the Fontina Chop. Everybody enjoyed their food. The only downside was that we asked for dessert and nearly finished our coffee before it was served. The waiters depend on other kitchen staff to bring the food out to the customers, so this was just a small glitch in what was overall a pleasurable evening. read more

I have been a longtime customer of this restaurant and until now have been very satisfied. Recently, you have a new manager and apparently a new cook or two. The food and service have gone downhill. Rainbow trout had no taste and the lemon butter was omitted. The potatoes au gratin were not cooked and the cheese was runny--as if not put in the oven before serving--raw potatoes are not okay! We have some gift certificates for a Christmas present, and will have to choose another restaurant--was told we couldn't use the AARP discount with a gift card or the Wednesday Bang Bang shrimp discount. Your meals are not worth the cost if not prepared correctly or there is an undertone of snobbiness and rudeness- we will not be back! read more

We had an excellent experience getting carryout from here tonight. The salmon super food salad was fantastic as well as the Thai coconut shrimp. We had a bad experience with a bonefish grill in Greenville, nc traveling down here to Myrtle Beach last week but this more than made up for it. Candice brought our order out and pulled out every item from all three bags to confirm that our order was just right. Will definitely be back. read more

Loved this place! Finally found fresh creative food. The bang bang shrimp is a must get! Their specialty blueberry infused vodka drink was served in a glass made completely of ice. This was our first time eating here. The bang bang shrimp is excellent. We had the dinner for 2 for $55.00. It came with the bang bang shrimp appetizer to split and we also split key lime pie for dessert which was very good. Our entree we chose was the Cobia with crab and it was very good. Love it! I usually do not like chain restaurants, but Bonefish Grille in NMB is an exception. I look forward to going there every time I visit my sister in NMB. The service is IMPECCABLE----better than most of the so-called "fine dining" restaurants that I've been to. The drinks are good, the food is fresh and tasty, and the booths are comfortable. I have never had a bad meal there. I don't know if all Bonefish Grilles are like the one in NMB, but I can vouch for at least this one being great. read more

We always come here when we visit the beach and usually love it. However this visit was poor. Was told the wait time was 30 minutes and it turned into 55 minutes. Wait staff in bar area was slow and forgetful. Finally got our table and ordered lobster tail, they were out. Ordered trout, they were out. What in the world?! A little disappointed today. read more

Love Eating at Bonefish. Fish and Seafood dishes are always delicious. I hate to complain about their steaks because they are more of a seafood restaurant, but the 2 times I've gotten steaks (sirloin or filet) they were very tough and grissley. I went to this location due to all the five stars. I have previously eaten at the myrtle beach location and had great food and a great experience. I was looking forward to visiting this store since it was 5 stars. I called 2 days ahead in October mind you and made reservations for 7:30. My family and I arrived at 7:20. So they told us it would be a few minutes. Well we were a little early and I get it. So the wait time started to get longer. People below us on the list were getting seated before us and next thing you know it is now 7:50. So then, being agitated i asked what was the issue since I made reservations for 7:30 and others behind us on the list were getting seated before my party of 4 people. Finally they found us a table which is right on line in an area where they roll kegs of beer through from one side of the restaurant to the bar on the other side. WOW! As always the bang bang shrimp was awesome. The rest of the meal was fair. My special king crab legs were Luke warm at best. My wife's steak was overlooked. My guest said their food was not hot. Then to top it all off, our waitress spent 25 minutes trying to get our checks right. No exaggeration. She kept moving items from one check to the other, even after we clearly explained it to her. I know this is a chain restaurant, but we like Bonefish and will continue to visit them. Just never this location again. Beware if you make reservations. Even in the slow months. read more

Food is always good. Ate there last night and was the first time the service was really slow.

We were a party of eleven. Other than the entree, we waited for everything, from soda water to our meal, to the bill, everything took a long time to come. To top things off, one of the meals was totally forgotten. We were told it was coming, so everyone waited to eat, but, it didn't come. Finally, a manager delivered the missing meal which we refused, because by now, everyone was sharing their food. To be fair, food was good, service, not so much. read more

This was my first time to a Bonefish. I went with friends on New Year eve. They are wonderful. I had a bad asthma attack from a customer that arrived and sat at a table next to us. The woman had too much perfume on causing me to have major breathing issues. The waitress and hostess moved us to another area. They were so accommodating. The food was great and they were so pleasant and wonderful I have spread the word how great this restaurant is. The waitress was wonderful also. Everyone was wonderful. The food was predictably good, but that was spoiled by poor service. We've eaten at bonefish in other cities and always enjoyed the food and the service. This time they fell short. The waitress brought three waters for four people and never figured out the error. I finished my drink halfway through my meal and was never offered another. She started clearing plates (by reaching across my face) while people were still eating. She brought out a to go box while my daughter had not even finished or asked for one. She basically seemed liked she just wanted to rush us out even though they still had 30 minutes before they closed. Then there were the hostess and other wait staff standing out by the front door smoking - not around back or off to the side, but right out front so you had no choice but to walk through it. Basically seems like flawed management / leadership at this particular location. Pretty disappointing since we came here specifically because we wanted a predictably good experience while on the road. If you're looking for a bonefish, there's another one in myrtle beach. We haven tried that one but hopefully it's better run. But I'd pass on this one ... read more
