What was once a pretty good meal at a great price is now a meal you can't even eat at an overinflated price. My husband and I went to Carrabba's Italian Grill on 6/22.26. The dining area was dark, outdated, and uninviting and our server was nice enough but seemed disinterested in working and was not very attentive. We started out with two lemonades, @$7.98 for both, because the mixed drinks & wine prices were very expensive for what was being offered but it was fine because the lemonades were very tasty and refreshing. We ordered our dinner and while we waited for our meal we picked on the bread and olive oil mixture which was pretty good. When our dinner finally arrived I knew just by looking at the food on the dish it wasn't worth the money they were charging! My husband ordered the Toscana Filet & Shrimp @ $31.99. The steak consisted of 5 small, thin, round, well done pieces about the size of a quarter with 4 small shrimp on top of a heap of fettuccini. The steak and shrimp were edible but the pasta was limp, soggy, and lacking any hint of flavor. I ordered the Chicken Trio Combo @ $32.99 that came with Garlic Mashed Potatoes - the presentation on the dish was messy consisting of three very small pieces of rubbery grilled chicken with what was supposed to be three different sauces - it was inedible. I think an entire container of salt fell on my chicken because it was so over-salted it was impossible to eat, needless to say, I did not eat it. The garlic mashed potatoes did not have any garlic flavor but were otherwise fairly edible. Total: $80.62 with tax + the tip. Outrageous! Yes, just like every establishment, you will notice a slight decline over the years... The current service workforce, with their addiction recovery, many tattoos and piercings, is definitely lacking in many areas of being confident and sincere... However, our experience tonight left nothing short... We arrived around 4:30pm and when we left around 6pm the place was packed with a 20 minute wait... We were seated right away, drinks and appetizers were ordered and delivered right away... Our bread with dipping oil and salads were very good... We waited a short time for our entrees, but they were worth the wait... Lasagna was phenomenal and chicken parmigiana was excellent... We've never been disappointed here... Enjoy!!! read more

Food was good, pretty typical for a Carrabba's. However our service was less than decent. Asked for water refills for the table and bread refill. They only brought out one glass of water and dropped it off while without stopping. The food runner was very gracious and brought us bread when we asked since we had not received any from our server. We did not get checked on a single time once food hit our table and to top it off, we were celebrating an anniversary and received no acknowledgement whatsoever of it. Would not recommend. read more

Wanted to share a wonderful experience at the North Myrtle Beach Carrabba's. We attended the Orin Swift wine dinner. Service was excellent, food wise amazing. The seating for this service was well planned and quite comfy. This was not our first wine dinner and have to comment that this is an amazing experience if you've never done it. I always come for the Mama Mandolas chicken soup and it was hot and comforting as always. For my meal they have a new special the "Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara",it was Delicious. Total disaster, we have been going here for over 10 years and can't figure out how this establishment could tank this fast, I ordered the single pork chop which was 1/4" thin, I asked for medium and it was served well done and totally dried out. The mash potatoes were ice cold and tasteless and the broccoli was also cold and OLD. The chef should know better to serve this mess, and the night manager needs to control the back of the house instead of filling oil bottles for the tables. Staff was slow but fair at best. Was this establishment sold out to new management? if so, it shows. Waste of money on our part, won't be returning to this mess. I ordered a new offering. The food was tasty but the restaurant over cooked the fillet. It was more well done instead of med.warm center. Not happy about that. On top of that, I used Uber Eats (Door Dash). I gave a very generous tip, which cannot be changed now. The driver (Octavio) picked up my order at 6:15 pm. I live only 2 miles from the restaurant (Carrabbas in North Myrtle Beach). The food was delivered at 7:00 pm and was cold. This driver clearly didn't care. If I could take back my tip I surly would. I realize the delivery problem isn't because of the restaurant, although overcooking the food was. I wish Uber Eats could find better help. I hope they never send this driver to my home again. If he ever comes back I will cancel my Uber Eats account. This is totally unacceptabel. read more

Today a friend took me out to lunch for my birthday. My friend said you pick. When I was in Charlotte a few weeks ago I ate at the Carrabba's in Huntersville N.C and it was great. So I decided I wanted to go to Carrabba's here at Myrtle Beach. Bad mistake.....that was the worst meal I have ever had. I order the Johnny Trio, which is 33$. The steak was over cook, very dry and chewy. The chicken was so salty I could hardly eat it the Mezzanine was also dry and over cooked. My friend said it looked like leftovers from last night. We got there at 12:10 on Saturday October 11. There were only a few cars there so they were not busy at all. We order around 12:15. Our salads came at 12:34 and our food got there at 1:01 and the food was barely warm. To make it worst I order a Johnny Trio to go, and yes it was over cooked also. The staff are so sweet - Bailey made our experience incredible and was such enjoyable light! We each loved 3 of the 4 dishes but there's always one that isn't as good. Last nite was my first experience ordering from Carrabba's on line.. it was easy and uncomplicated . When I arrived there was no wait.. everything was delivered very fast by the nicest fella and I regret not having his name . I live close by so the food was still very warm. I had ordered the steak & shrimp fettuccine pasta with sliced filet . It was outstanding! The steak was a little more done but that's a hard one to handle with a take out, but still very tender and tasty. Carrabba's is our "Go To" first.. enjoying dining inside or take home. Food is always consistently delish and service top notch. We've also have taken advantage of their special Wine Dinner Specials.. always delish and the wine parings ... perfect. Attended the March 11 wine, dinner event, "Crushin' It"! Absolutely fabulous! Everything from the setting; the staff; the efficiency and flow of the entire evening... And my favorite part the menu with the pairings of wines! Absolutely exquisite! There's four of us that go, and we look forward to each month. It's such a well run, uplifting atmosphere... Not sure how dining in is since we only ever order out (Uber eats). I've been to one carrabas before in Wilmington and was VERY disappointed. Here though? I'm obsessed. The one coffee cake thing they have is amazing. And the ravioli that starts with an M and the lobster ravioli? Divine! Both raviolis come with an incredibly simple salad that's so darn delicious! I love the dressing. I believe they've missed stuff in the past, but it's a lot rarer than other locations. Ordering out? Yes I'd recommend. Can't comment on dining in. read more

Hats off to the staff here. They had multiple parties over 10 people (including the one I was part of but they made it all work!! Short staffed and all! It was my cousin's birthday and they even came out and sang happy birthday and gave her a piece of cake. Everyone devoured their meals. Jordan, our server, is an absolute rock star. Great atmosphere. Good food. I say good mostly because my steak definitely leaned more medium rare than medium, but I was hungry. Ordered $175 in food from this Carrabba's location via GrubHub for pickup. Arrived at the designated time for pickup. A young lady comes out twice to verify my pickup order. They could not locate the order. A gentleman comes out and shows me an IPad like device. It shows me where they received the order. However, he shared nothing had been prepared in the kitchen. He said he could make my order. No thank you. Too many authentic and locally owned Italian restaurants to visit. They met my expectations of complete disappointment. Never again. read more

It was fair for a Carrabba's. The one in Columbia shut down a few years ago, so my wife and I decided to try this one for Valentines. They were busy, and did a great job keeping up with the crowd. Ordered Carrabbas through Door Dash as I was in the middle of a project. This was only my second time ordering from Carrabbas or using Door Dash. First time delivery and food were great! This time the Fettuccini Carrabbas was inedible. The sauce was 90% milk. Delivery was fine as was the soup and bread. Called Carrabbas as it was a food issue not a delivery issue. Spoke with Heather. Put me on hold to speak with "curbside". After a couple of minutes returned to the conversation and said it was not Carrabbas responsibility as I used a third party for delivery. Makes no sense to me as the delivery part was just fine. Door Dash did not prepare the food- Carrabbas did. Contacted Door Dash their policy is not to do anything in response to a Customer food satisfaction issue. Bottom line- don't order Carrabbas; they don't stand behind their food nor their customers. I am out $30 and dinner Response from Door Dash- took a bit to contact Door Dash but they were great! Gave option for a redeliver or a refund. I went for the redeliver as I still didn't have a dinner solution yet. Second delivery was much better! Will consider Door Dash in the future. Jury is still out on Carrabas after my customer service experience. read more
