Nice intimate setting, service was great, very friendly attentive server. Food was delicious but the jasmine rice was a little undercooked and crunchy as was the shrimp and salmon for our liking. Mahi was cooked perfect. Was worried the mango salsa would be spicy but it was perfect.

We went for the wine pairing event. my only complaint is there's too many people because of that the food isn't hot, so your not getting the full flavor experience for me fish, shrimp are best served hot. also the presentation was horrible looked thrown together. While concept is good. I wouldn't go to a event again. However, when Ive come fir dinner (not event) or even come for social hour I've loved it! Food is served perfectly and the service is great!

This was there Valentine's Day special. Super good!

Special plate - grouper with crab cake and 2 veg. The sauce is a mustard butter sauce. The dish was phenomenal, and dare I say a good crab cake for PGH. This place always delivers, service was great too (sat at the bar).

Bacon Mac & Cheese was just ok

Food was of great quality and the service was AMAZING. The ambiance of the restaurant was really basic, but ok. Food could be more flavorful. But the kung pao Brussels sprouts were the best!

Had a wonderful dinner this evening at the bonefish Grill. The meal started with warm bread which is not something seen very often. Our appetizer of bang bang shrimp was excellent and better than similar dishes I've had elsewhere. I opted to have lobster ravioli and my dinner companion had serf and turf ordered medium. It was initially a little on the rare side but our server was extremely attentive and offered to cook it a little bit more without even being asked. This is exactly the kind of high quality service I expect when I'm paying for a dinner. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive throughout our dinning experience which makes the difference between eating and dinning. We capped the evening with a dessert of seasonal Crème Brûlée and a brownie. Both were exceptional. The restaurant was an excellent experience all around for light fare, a comprehensive dinning experience, or cocktails. This is the perfect example of everything a restaurant can and should be. I cannot recommend it enough and I look forward to my next visit.

one of my raviolis had a smiley face staring at me ...got a great laugh at that

It was refreshing to see customers decked out instead of the usual pgh hoodies/sweats. In Mt. Lebo, we visited for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week ((summer 2026)) to try out their prix fixe menu and was not disappointed. You have the option to add on wine pairing for an additional charge. Started off the experience w/ warmed bread & whipped honey/chive butter that they bring for the table. Mellow & light. It was good. But to me, the bread crust was a bit too hard. Drinks menu displayed a varied range of crafted cocktails, beer, carefully selected wine & NA drinks. Husband had the Brown Sugar Peach Bourbon Mule- oh so good-- the peach puree offset the bourbon and it was ah-mazing! I had a cosmo- balanced & not too tart- I absolutely loved it! For dinner, husband ordered the Almond Chicken on Parmesan risotto & sauteed spinach. Seriously goood! The chicken was breaded then roasted w/ some flavoring & almond slices -- accompanied by a brie cream sauce, risotto & spinach. The brie cream sauce & parm risotto didn't feel like cheese overload ((thank goodness)), it was the right amount of sauce : cheese ratio. A must order dish. Prix Fixe Starter was Steak Tacos 2/order. Char siu marinated skirt steak w/avo-corn salsa, feta was unbelievably refreshing & light and the steak was tender. Really, really good!! Entree was Pork Medallions ((2)) on a bed of crispy poblano polenta w/ a side of sunchokes on a hazelnut watercress pesto; a blueberry maple glaze topping off the entire dish. One of the best entrees I've had the pleasure of enjoying. The pork was super tender & moist-- each bite was Umami to me. I asked the waitress if the chef was thinkin of making this a regular menu item and hopefully they would. Husb thought it was delish too. He ofc had to have a "few" bites to taste lol! Dessert was a Cremeux- a mousse/pudding like dessert so so sooooo good! It had crushed almond streusel & dulce de leche de coco sauce. Husb found it too sweet, but I cherished it. This entire meal & experience was magnificent for the both of us. Most def comin back again & again! Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Food: 5/5

In terms of the food, I switched up a few things and tried some different items this time. The tod mun was interesting and worth a try. My understanding is that it's pretty classic Thai street food: fried fish fritters/cakes with dipping sauce. The tom yum soup was maybe a quarter step back from what I remember, but a squeeze of lime fixed that. The kra pao seafood was interesting and worth a try, but not life changing. The Panang curry was deeply flavorful with extremely fresh ingredients. I continue to believe that this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the region, and there's quite a bit of competition out there. Maybe not the absolute best, but it's absolutely in the running.

On our 34th wedding anniversary last year we decided to try Firebird's. We met waitress Tammy, she was amazing. She gives excellent service, so personable, and the food was amazing. We have visited again several times and the service and food has been excellent. This year we celebrated my husband's 79th birthday on Memorial Day with 15 members of our family and the service, food and drinks impressed my whole family. Once again amazing! One month later in June my husband and I were diagnosed with aggressive blood cancers. It was devastating and treatment had been brutal. But a few days late we decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. So tonight we took one of our son's, grandson's and we went to Firebird's for our first outing since starting cancer treatments. Of course we chose Firebird's. Happy accident we got Tammy as our waitress. So much fun to be out and having fun with family. The four of us had an amazing meal, so much fun and excellent service. Firebird's didn't disappoint!

The manager makes rounds to every table, and the staff is always attentive and fantastic. The steaks and cocktails are out of this world, and we always have to get the cheesesteak egg rolls. The scalloped potatoes are also so good. The atmosphere is definitely high-end with dim lighting and low, comfortable seating, which makes it feel intimate and cozy. We did have one experience with table neighbors who apparently needed phone flashlights to read their menus and were constantly moving them around --but that was definitely a them problem, not a restaurant problem. And yes, you will leave smelling like liquid smoke. Personally? I consider that a win. Our favorite place for a date night, a nice dinner, or just when we want a steak that never disappoints. Absolutely recommend!
