Lovely seafood chain restaurant which conveniently shares the parking lot with the SHV Mall. I like to call Bonefish an upscale (better) version of Red Lobster. If you don't lie seafood, there are still plenty of options on the menu for you. First off, YES the signature bang bang shrimp is as good as everyone says it is. I had the special, which was salmon topped with a mixture of creamed spinach, mushrooms, and crab meat and got broccoli and jasmine rice as the sides. I really loved the entree but the sides were pretty bland. It was just steamed broccoli and steamed rice. My hubby got the gnocchi in lobster cream sauce and loved it as well. It had more shrimp than gnocchi! I also thought the prices were very reasonable. Mine was $25ish and his was only $20ish. We will certainly be back to Bonefish soon! read more

First off... we made reservations for tonight's dinner. There were six of us that went to dinner so felt it would be better with a slightly bigger party. We waited an extra 15 min past our reservation... no biggie .. but what I was surprised by was that they sat six grown adults in a booth? They had no tables available and told us we could get back in line for when comes available... we stayed out because it was already late and everyone was hungry.... ... but don't think anyone was .. comfortable Our waitress was very friendly ... The food was very good ... sea bass was like slicing into butter -- the swordfish special was good too... we even tried the Kung Pao shrimp - and yes it has a kick to it! We had some before dinner drinks to... sangria was really good (we had the red version). That's what I am judging my stars on .. Really, nobody had any complaints.. other than the fact we felt we squeezed into a spot better suited for four adults and two children and not six grown adults. During Our Visit My 3 Year Old Daughter Inadvertently Kicked The Back Bottom Of The Booth We Were Sitting In. As I Can Understand That This Can Be Disruptive We Quickly Ensured That The Behavior Stopped Which Lasted No More Than 20 Seconds. About 5 Minutes After The Behavior Ceased, The Manager Of The Restaurant Asked Us To Ensure Our Daughter Doesn't Kick The Booth Again Despite The Fact That It Did Not Happen The Rest Of The Evening. We Very Clearly Had The Situation Under Control, And Did Not Need The Guidance Of Management. Perhaps You Should Discourage Families Dining At Your Restaurant If You Can't Deal With Young Children. I Certainly Can Appreciate Something Being Said If The Behavior Was Sustained But It Was Approximately 10 -20 Seconds. As A Result We Decided To Skip Dessert And Head Home. Moving Forward We'll Choose Restaurants That Are More Welcoming Than Bonefish Grill read more

Food was not good, I've been to Bonefish in other markets (Houston) never had a problem. This one was disappointing. Salmon was under cooked in the middle, garlic rice had no flavor and there was barely any flavor to the Pineapple chutney. I had to ask if I could order a glass of wine, then waited 20 minutes for it to arrive to our table. So we were seated for our reservations immediately. So we had six and one side of the table had a hard time getting to our seats due to the other table being to close. So it was noisy and the two of use at the end to the table could not hear the waiter at the other end. So it was very difficult to talk with the other end of the table. So we shared the Imperial Dip that was Ok, hard to mess up some cheese and seafood and the tortilla chips were good. So I had the Crab-Cristed Cod that is listed as a specialty. So it was OK. The wait staff was very good and efficient considering they could not get to one side of the table and our waiter did realize that the did not hear him so he did come to the other end and repeated some the items he said to the other end of our table. read more

The staff clearly don't enjoy working there, and it comes out in the food. This was a take out order for about $60 worth of food. I was sent to the back near the kitchen to do the pick up. During my 5 minute wait, I saw multiple fights between managers and staff, with a lot of eye rolling and negative energy. We went to Bonefish Grill for a Sunday birthday brunch. We shared calamari and bang bang shrimp appetizers. The calamari was good but the bang bang shrimp sauce had a nice heat that I'm still thinking about. I had the French Toast for my entree. It was a nice French bread battered in Grand Marnier and Orange Zest. The batter didn't overwhelm the syrup and vice versa. It was delicious. My meal came with two pieces of smoked Applewood bacon. We enjoyed our attentive and observant waiter Ryan. He caught on that it was my wife's birthday because he noticed a birthday card being handed to my wife from a family member. The manager came over with a birthday card with a voucher for a free appetizer on our next visit and a small box of chocolate truffles for my wife for her birthday. We'll be coming back. read more

Bonefish has great seafood, especially for a chain restaurant. Every time we come, I have to get the bang bang shrimp. This continues to be my favorite appetizer, hands down! They have a great "regular" menu and also offer a specialty menu with items that are regularly changed. I had the cedar plan salmon which had a bourbon cherry glaze sauce - yum! My fiancé had the cod imperial which was equally delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was served piping hot. Each dinner was served with 2 sides, which is where my only complaints were. Stopped into Bonefish today while out and about all alone. They had a new menu item.. Ummmm yummy!!!! Ahi tuna cooked medium rare on some greens. Oh my I mixed it all together and inhaled it. I came here for the bang bang shrimp... but really we will order them as an appetizer and the bang bang shrimp tacos! We tend to forget to make reservations when we come here, but they do offer them. Even if you arrive without a reservation they can usually get you seated within a half hour or so. This was my first experience at Bone Fish Grill (BFG) and it was a good experience. The gentleman (Dalton) that waited on me during the evening did a great job. He was very professional and the timeliness of the food being delivered was on point. I ordered their crab cakes as an appetizer and they were pretty tasty. Everyone does not know how to prepare crab cakes and the red remoulade sauce was on point as well. My main course was their Bonefish Signature Pasta (which was okay) I selected salmon with a side of shrimp. I think that the pasta could have been a little more flavorful and I think that it would have been better with an Alfredo sauce. The parking at the establishment is plentiful so there won't be any issues from that standpoint. I'm going to go back again and try other items on menu in the near future in hopes of giving them that fifth star. read more

As far as a "chain" restaurant goes (I tend to frequent more locally owned businesses) this one is my favorite ! I should start by saying I've rarely met a filet of salmon I haven't loved. "Bang bang shrimp" is what most people associate with Bomefish, and for good reason, it's delightful! A "must" appetizer in my opinion. Every time we come here, my boyfriend tries something different but I always stick with the same salmon filet. I LOVE IT and he's never been disappointed by any of his choices. I do recommend making a reservation. This place is very good. I was actually surprised to find out it was a chain, but you would never know by being there. The waitress was quick and efficient and helped us with wine recommendations. I could not believe how quickly the food came out after we ordered! Service was great! The complimentary bread and oil was good as well. We were so hungry we ate the loaf in under 5 minutes. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl and I was definitely impressed. Although there weren't as many pieces of tuna as I had hoped, it was very good. I loved the presentation as well. You will want to make a reservation if you are dining on a weekend. Ours was for 8:30 and it was still packed! Luckily they have a huge parking lot and we were able to get a great spot. There are at least 10 or 12 tables spaced well apart. This Evening My Party Of Three Enjoyed dinner having made A Reservation For Dining Outside. Soon After Being Served Our Drinks By Alley The Heavens Opened With Gale Force Winds And Strong Sheets Of Rain Blowing Through The Area. The Rain Lasted For At Least 30 Minutes. We Had Moved To Tables Closer To The Area Of The Tent With the Wall Dropped For Protection. Through The Rain Our Server Alley Remained Attentive, Professional And Cheerful Despite Her Needing To Walk Through The Downpour To Serve Us Drinks, Ice, Salt And Pepper And Our Meals. Delicious pre-Valentines dinner! Bonefish Grill...you never disappoint me our entrees consisted of Oscar Chilean Sea Bass served with asparagus and a side of spinach. All cooked to perfection. The other entree was Risotto Del Mar-excellent. It was prepared with a lobster sauce with shrimp AND topped with grilled shrimp. I love risotto so whenever it's on the menu...I select it. Bonefish is one of my favorites. I highly highly recommend their tropic heat martini if you are someone who tends to get jalapeño margaritas when you are out. We started with the bang bang shrimp which is always a go to!! I always get the tuna steak seared rare which is always cooked perfectly. The portions this time were significantly smaller than I remember and they also got rid of the potatoes au gratin which I was pretty disappointed about. Service was very good. They recently took their signature coconut pie that was covered in a warm rum sauce and homemade like whipped cream off the menu! Though the food is good and the drinks are still flowing I can't say we'll be back as often as before, it made the meal. For this location outside dining in the nicer months is a good option. We arrived around 6 PM on a busy Friday evening, and we got lucky that another reservation had just canceled and they sat us right away. Unfortunately, our server was a bit slow throughout the entire meal. It was nice to catch up with family during the long waits though! Everyone in our party enjoyed their drinks and dinner. Very disappointed in all aspects. First received red wine but I ordered white wine. Although we had a reservation, insisted on giving us a booth when we advised we wanted a table. They put us outside which was fine, but couldn't see the sun was so bright, then again insisted on a booth when we moved inside again declined. Then my hubby ordered a Pinot Grigio, brought the wrong wine two more times. Brought the wrong dinners to 2 of us. My husband side came when he was half done with his meal but the server never gave it to him and took it back to the kitchen. Will never go back. Horrible. read more
