If you have any certain little things done while you're gone they'll do their best to accommodate; turn lights on and off, bring in or take out garbage/recycling bins, nit picky feeding instructions, etc. When I need a sitter I just text with the dates and then I pay my bill online after they email me the invoice once the job is done.
