Recently, Juan's team, Bonito painting, painted my garage. As you can see in the 'before' image, my garage was mostly unfinished drywall. Juan's team cleaned, textured, primed and painted the garage walls and ceiling. I was very clear that I wanted white for all of the walls, except for the back wall and protruding ledge. I have to say they did a great job painting the garage! The lines were very sharp and the finished work was high quality! There were some hiccups along the way, but Juan did his best and fixed any issues. I would definitely recommend him and his team!

More lines and splotches. This is pretty much how the whole house looks like. It looks even worse in person.

I'm so sad I can't even describe it. I trusted Juan with my home. He painted one bedroom for me first. Did an ok job, got paint all over my hardwood floor. Came back with goo gone and razor blades to scrape it off. He also lied in his picture he posted of my room. He says "$300-$1000" for the room. He didn't do the whole room! He didn't do the ceiling, closet, bathroom door, or bedroom door. He charged me almost $1200! He put matte in the bathroom and now I need to have it redone with semi gloss since there's no window in there! My entire home is sitting with the wrong color and my hoa is calling me daily telling me I'll be fined. I had a similar experience as the other 1 star review. I was in such a rush I did not get other quotes before going with Juan. I have so much to write, but it'll have to wait until I figure out what to do. He spit on my lawn (he told me he's not vaccinated), his employees spit on my lawn. And they were aggressively upset and giving me dirty looks when I asked them not to spit! I bought them 4 large pizzas one day and instead of thank you, I was told that I should buy them lunch everyday. He's never on site, maybe comes for a half hour every other day. I gave them water and juice everyday on my own. The owner would text me, "the guys are thirsty can you give them water". Like what?! I'm not a maid. You should be taking care of your employees! I had to walk around all day checking on them. And they spoke zero English so I had to use google translate. The patch work looks worse on my home than it was before. I am lucky to live in a beautiful community and home and I feel like it's ruined now. He wanted almost $13,000 for the exterior of a 3000sq.ft. home. I got several quotes and was told this is the price for the exterior AND interior. I already gave him 1/3 of the money and my property is in shambles. There's a porta potty sitting at start of my driveway. There's paint all over my stone floor and lawn. I told him numerous times the color of the body is wrong, he ignored me for days. Finally showed up and said "you're right". He now wants more money to fix the mistake he made. I had asked him to paint the detached garage first to make sure the colors were right. He painted Benjamin Moore sample which I approved and he only used 1 coat of that. He then had it color matched with kelly Moore and used a second coat of that. Of course it's not the same color, he tried that before in my bedroom and I said no. He suggested I wash the roof and wanted to charge me $7,000. A minute later he brought it down to $3800. I called 5 different pressure wash companies, they ALL quoted me 1400-1800. Need I say more? Bait and switch. I'm at a loss as I write this. There is empty cans all over my property. Food scraps left in my backyard from them eating lunch, which my dog ate and got sick. He has made me cry on numerous occasions. He painted the garage side door a dark brown without my approval. It's now ruined and probably needs to be replaced or have 5 coats to cover it up. He brought a "friend" to look at my fence that needed replacement. He quoted me $12k. I got the fence done (by a professional fence company) for $3k. He is a scammer on every level. He's nice at first to get your business. But eventually the rudeness and arrogance comes out. You'll see. He rarely uses the same crew, always someone different showing up on my property without him there. Sadly, I have loads more to write. Please save your money and home and find another painting company. I can go on and on about all the wrong Juan the owner has done. Pictures speak a thousand words. This is just a sample of the poor quality of his work. He agreed to refund some of my money and then when he came to pick up his tools he lied and said he never said that. I have his texts showing he did say that. He's fail a lie detector test so hard. He called the police and lied that I'm not giving him his tools! I spoke to the officer and told him I have text messages proving I told him to take his tools! The officer himself said he's heard of these types of guys many times and told me to take him to court! Juan is a liar, cheat, scammer, and aggressive person. I'd never recommend this company to anyone.

I was skeptical about at first because I've had bad experiences before; but Juan and his Bonito's team surprised me a lot! Wonderful job ! Highly recommend!!! Love Bonito Painting

They got out here within a week and worked their tails off to get this done. The crew was very efficient and hauled everything off afterwards. They cleaned up after each day (sweeping, blowing off the yard, etc.) and after all their work, the only thing left behind was one single screw...amazing! Thank you Super Builders, your product and crew were great to work with!

I had an overall fantastic experience with Super-Builders even though I was unable to use them (see…read morewhy below). I would recommend them to anyone looking to repair or build a fence. Their communication and overall quoting process were great, and they seemed to really know their stuff. Their pricing was also fair and reasonable. I was looking to fix a leaning fence. Super-Builders was really responsive and came by a couple days later to evaluate and quote the project. They even offered an option for me to consider that was a little more expensive but would result in a longer lasting fix. Why didn't I use them you ask? I am figuring out a fence repair with a landlord next door who hasn't been the easiest to work with. In spite of this, Super-Builders was very patient and even worked through different quote options. My only regret is that I wish I could have moved forward with them, but my landlord/neighbor wore me down, so we're going with his "handyman" approach which I know I will regret. I have no doubt I would have loved Super-Builders' work had circumstances worked out on my end. Do yourself a favor and give them a call. I know you won't regret it.

I have no complaints about the fence. They finished everything in one day. With that said, I am deducting a star because the crew tripped my breaker box. They plugged in a battery (Milwaukee? It was red. See photo) to the outlet I had a licensed contractor install to a recent closet extension in my backyard. I'm not sure how they even found that outlet as it's not close to the shared fence and is hidden by the A/C unit. I'm also not sure why they were that deep in my backyard when they were just supposed to be working on installing the new fence. If they had simply asked for permission to plug in the battery, this wouldn't have been an issue. I saw the battery charging as I was checking on the progress of the fence throughout the morning and thought nothing of it. It wasn't until that evening where I noticed that all the outlets in the back room didn't work that I started questioning the reason for the outage. After racking my brain and attempting to reset the breaker box, it dawned on me that it was because one of the workers was charging their battery. I don't know the voltage of the battery that they were charging, but it was too much for that outlet. They should've just used an outlet from my neighbor.

Long Review Alert - But It's the Last One You'll Need…read more If you're considering hiring Better Fence, owned by Ernesto Zacarias, let me save you some regret. This review is long because I want you to know exactly what you're signing up for. After using them twice, I can confidently say this is a 1-star operation. Now, I get it--you're thinking, "If it was so bad the first time, why go back?" Fair question. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I thought I could manage them the second time around, thinking I'd get them to fix the issues they left behind the first time. Turns out, I was wrong. Here's what happened: May 2023: Fence Section Replacement (7 Panels) This job was supposed to be simple: replace a section of fence that had blown over. Here's how it went sideways: 1. Concrete Disaster: After pulling out the old posts, instead of removing the leftover concrete from the holes and reusing the exiting holes with fresh concrete, they left it buried under the new fence and dug news holes next to the old ones. It looks super sloppy. To top it off, they left a huge pile of dirt behind for me to clean up. 2. Wrong Fence Style: The existing style of my fences is louvered. Without consulting me, they started building a board-on-board style. I caught the mistake two panels in and had to stop them. They had to tear down those two panels and switched them to louvered before finishing the rest. 3. Gaps to the Neighbor's Property: They left significant gaps under the fence where our yard meets the neighbor's. I had to point this out and insist they come back to fix it. 4. Nails Everywhere: They left nails scattered across the fence line, in the rocks, and on my grass. A safety hazard for pets, kids, and anyone walking around. 5. Shoddy Trim Work: Most of the trim had noticeable gaps. After asking them to return, they came back out, cut new trim pieces to the correct length, and fixed all the gaps. While this was resolved, it should have been done right the first time. 6. Exposed Nails: Many nails weren't countersunk, leaving sharp edges sticking out. This wasn't addressed unless I pointed it out repeatedly. 7. Communication Problems: None of the workers onsite spoke English--not even a little. Every single interaction required Google Translate or a call to Ernesto. 8. No Follow-Up After Payment: Once I paid them, any additional issues I pointed out were ignored. They never came back despite multiple requests. December 2024: Fence Leaning (4 Posts Replaced) Fast forward to the second job. A different section of my fence was leaning, so I hired them again. Big mistake. This time, I thought I was prepared for their shortcomings. Instead, things were even worse: Important Details Omitted by Ernesto: During the initial estimate, Ernesto never mentioned: * "The fifth post is good but loose. If we don't fix the concrete at its base, the fence will be crooked." * "We'll need to break part of the concrete on the side of your house, but we don't do professional sidewalk repairs, so it won't match." * "Old trim and baseboards might split when screws are used." 1. Crooked Fence: When the job was done, the fence was visibly crooked. They had to come back to fix it, admitting the fifth post needed a proper concrete base after all. 2. Concrete Mess: The areas where they replaced concrete look terrible--uneven, rough, and amateurish. 3. Warped Post: One of the posts they installed is warped and twisted. It's visibly off and has remained that way because they refused to fix it. 4. Exposed Screws: This time, instead of nails, they used screws--but left most of them sticking out, without countersinking. Another safety hazard and an eyesore. 5. Debris Everywhere: They pulled up turf to work but didn't secure it back properly. I had to nail it down myself. On top of that, they left rocks and debris scattered all over the area. I had to point it out before they did any cleanup. 6. Old and New Concrete Combined: On review of my security footage, I saw that they threw old concrete chunks into the holes with new concrete. This is a major no-no, as new and old concrete will not chemically bond properly. This will likely cause instability in the future. 7. Broken Solar Light: Ernesto himself stepped on a solar light and broke it. Instead of mentioning it, he just popped the pieces back into place like nothing happened. 8. Miscommunication on Posts: I specifically wanted the old posts saved for firewood. Without asking, they took them to the dump. When I asked, Ernesto apologized but said it was too late to retrieve them and made no effort to compensate me for my personal property he took. 9. Hostile Response: After asking Ernesto (for the third time) to fix the concrete properly, he responded rudely with, "Pay for whatever you want, please don't call me again for a job. I hope I don't hear from you."
