I have had arm swelling for a few years because of Lymphedema. We tried it on my arm and after 30 minutes, my throbbing went away and this morning the swelling was still down. After I got home and my hair was fully dry and seeing it in good lighting at that point..I thought, "holy s*#t, it's now a clown orange tint color!" Not only that, but I had a large concentrated pile of orange on top of my head. I took a deep breath and collected myself before calling Donna of my concern. I politely mentioned the issue (I didnt address her rudely/calm tone) and she viciously retorts, "You should've asked for toner then!" I replied, "What? Shouldn't toner be complimentary since it's a blonde color I asked for and not orange?" She answered, "No-it costs extra." I said, "Wow..ok, so why didn't you tell me at the time the result would be orange unless I paid extra for the toner." She replied, "Look..I'm busy right now-there's no refunds but if you want, you can schedule an appointment and I can try fixing it for partial cost." I told her, "No- I'd like it to be fixed at no cost since orange is not the color I asked for." She refused to fix it for free and I wrote the BBB (better business bureau). I went someplace else to have it fixed and the hairstylist there told me she would have to cut several inches off my hair since Donna overprocessed and fried my hair. Don't fall for any positive reviews, please!! Horrible, horrible.

She is amazingly generous with her time and knowledge about hair and skin, etc. So often we feel rushed trying to explain what we want, but not with Cali Sheen! She is truly interested in helping people feel good about their hair and themselves. It was refreshing! I received a really great haircut for which i am grateful! She has all sorts of beautiful handcrafted jewelry around if you need a great gift or 2 or something really unique and special for yourself. Prices are very reasonable. Same with the hair cut. To top it off!!!....she uses EWG (Envionmental Working Group) approved products!!! This is almost unheard of in this industry! She is pioneering a wonderful service to the health of all of us. (Approved means there is absolutely nothing in the product that would hurt your physical health). This additional point is a treasure of gold in my opinion since so many, truly most, of all the skincare, haircare, etc, products available contain carcinogens, highly allergic ingredients, and much more.
