Haley has been my hairdresser for years. I absolutely love her and trust her completely. I cannot say enough good things about her. Not only is she a great hairdresser, she's also hilarious! I always look forward to our appointments. Megan has been my esthetician for years also and I couldn't function without her! She is professional, efficient and very clean. I came in after not having a haircut since April 2025 and was afraid of my hair being messed up, after making an appointment with Abby I already knew I was in great hands on how she was going step by step with me on how I'd want my hair done since I kinda forgot what a haircut is like. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was very patient with me because I came in with little sleep and was very easy going and enthusiastic on how she likes cutting hair and just doing her job as a whole. She was also very friendly to chat with which made my day go from very bad with a mopey look to bright and smiling the best I did all week. She's also very affordable and has quality behind it! The shop is also very very clean and organized with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere with smiles and laughs all around from booth to booth. This place is the absolute worst when it comes to nails I had to walk out. my boyfriend brought me here a few months ago for his haircut and I scheduled a nail appointment. I got a call almost immediately saying that I need to change the time so it went from 10am to 1-2:30pm. When I get there I confirm my appointment with the front desk guy and show the multiple conformation emails. only to be sitting on the bench for 30 minutes and then get told my appointment was at 10. She was also rude. never wasting my time like that again. read more

I had an appointment this morning. 11:30. Arrived early and was told that the barber would come to get me. So I waited. Another women asked if I had an appointment and then checked and told me Aaron was the barber and that he was still with a client but he'd be right out. So I waited. Then a third women asked my name to confirm. So I waited. And then 11:45 rolled around. I waited another minute and then got up and told one of the women to tell Aaron I would go some where else. A friend referred the hair garage, she said they are great, they do walk-ins, you should go there. I have a buzz cut, I needed my fade touched up. Though I was told they take walk-ins and have apparently always accepted this friend and her brother and husband on walk-in, I called. I double checked at opening that they had time to squeeze me in. The gal who answered the phone was rude to me and explained it wouldn't be until after 3pm to get me in, because they only have several half hour slots throughout the day. I said I just need a quick trim on a buzz cut. She said she didn't want to rush the stylist. Fine. I couldn't do 3, she then offers me a 1pm. I said okay that's still a little late, I'm calling at about 10am and I'm already in town. I said I'll try to make that one and gave name and number. I ended up at another reputable barber shop, who only does walk-ins, and who is also never been to. They had 4 people ahead of me with cuts and beard trims and only one barber. I was in the chair after about an hour only. My cut took about 10-15 minutes. I later received a voicemail from Hair Garage telling me that because I didn't make my appointment they would be adding a $20 charge to future visits. They are already over-priced from what I could see on their website, but I was initially willing to pay the price based on the review of a good friend, but like hell am I going to pay $40 for a buzz cut that somehow takes longer than 30 minutes and rude service. read more

The Hair Garage is a bit more of a "trendy" place than I usually frequent, as I usually gravitate toward old school/ classic barber shops where the cuts are good but the banter is even better. However, even though the Hair Garage is a bit trendy, the barber I have used (British guy- I cannot remember his name) is probably one of the best barbers I have ever used. As far as what I do not like about the shop, their prices are on the high side and you generally have to make an appointment- which can be an inconvenience. It is for that reason I cannot give them 5 stars. But all in all, this place is legit! read more

I went in for a haircut and was turned away instantly. The lady there was extremely rude. I walked in and was greeted with a "What do you want?" I asked for a haircut and she said as you can tell we understaffed so I can't help you. She was rubbing gel in some guys hair and his face was confused at the exchange. There was also a guy in back cutting someone else hair. There was no one else in the place. No one waiting for a haircut and it was well before closing. The place looked nice and clean with a cool atmosphere. I guess I wasn't hip enough to warrant service or to be talked to like customer. I guess wearing jeans and sweatshirt is not cool enough. Next time I'm sure to wear a bow tie and top hap and roll up my sleeves to show my tattoo. I will take my monthly haircut somewhere else. read more
