Yes, the prices are on the high side - but probably one of my favorite burgers around. Not sure if…read morethey chargrill the meat? Either way, it's good. Service can get hectic because it can be BUSY - especially if you're outside during a nice day. I love the servers and staff - they're lively, unique, hard working. I highly recommend going but keep your patience and just know the food is good if you don't mind paying a little more. Worth it to me :) Plus - the lake views are pretty.

We were really looking forward to trying Docks. We had a great table near the bar overlooking the…read morewater, which was the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset during dinner. It was a Wednesday evening, and while the restaurant was busy, it wasn't overly crowded. Unfortunately, our experience didn't meet our expectations. I ordered a raspberry cosmopolitan martini, and when it arrived, there were two ants floating in it. I politely asked for a new drink and even apologized for having to send it back. From my seat, I watched the bartender pour the drink back into the shaker, give it another shake, and pour it into a clean glass. I should have said something, but after already feeling uncomfortable about returning it, I didn't. In the end, I didn't drink it because the way it was handled left me uneasy, and it honestly didn't taste very good. The appetizers were delicious, but we had to ask for plates and napkins because they weren't brought to the table. When our entrees arrived, they were placed on the table before the appetizer dishes were cleared, leaving very little room until we asked for them to be removed. The food itself was good overall. My husband really enjoyed his bison burger. When we asked for a box to take home the rest of his burger, coleslaw, and my leftover fries, we were given a container that was far too small to fit everything. Service throughout the meal was disappointing. Our water glasses were never refilled, and our server rarely checked on us. It appeared she was very attentive to guests she knew, while we felt largely overlooked. I completely understand that restaurants have busy nights, but every guest should feel welcomed and receive the same level of service. We truly wanted to enjoy our first visit because the location and waterfront views are beautiful. Unfortunately, the combination of the drink issue and the lack of attentive service overshadowed the evening. We left disappointed and, sadly, don't see ourselves returning.

BLT OR salad? Possibly the most confused I've ever been. Also there was no mayonnaise. Pretty disappointed.

I've gone during the day and at night and I love the environment during both. During the day is when you really get to enjoy that it's on the lake. The outdoor seating is so nice and there's also a large covered bar outside if you need more shade. Waitresses will take your drink orders, but you do have to go inside to order food. They have the order numbers on display outside too though so you can go back to your table and wait instead of standing inside. My seasoned vet friends told me I had to try the kabobs and definitively, I will never not order the kabob when I'm here. Also the shrimp with cocktail sauce are the perfect lake day bite and they'll give those to you as soon as you order. The vibe definitely shifts at night and is a much younger crowd with everyone hanging out upstairs either at the bar or on the dance floor. The DJ always plays good music that you just want to sing along to, but the nights can be hit or miss as far as it being packed or not. Either way it's always fun. Everyone on staff is pretty helpful and they add to the fun. The vibes are just right. Price wise, you may spend $20+ a person for food but it's great quality and sooo good. The drink prices are pretty normal for the area/being on the lake. The last time I went on a Sunday there were some ambassadors that were giving out drink samples too so even if you feel like drinks are pricey, you might catch a break by getting a chance to try a drink or two. Freddie's also owns the Airbnbs next door so you can rent those out and spend the whole weekend out here.

I am not the late night club customer. Food is consistently 3 star. That isn't a discredit to them, it is what their menu is. The preparation is consistent. The bartender/ wait staff service on the other hand ranges from a sub zero to 5 star. If you want miserable service, show up between 4:45pm and 5:15pm on a Friday during "shift change" of the bartenders at the outside bar (an odd time to change over all the bartenders). Pre 4:45 generally great service at the bar. Post 5:00..hit or miss. Away from the bar outside, totally hit or miss (not because of lack of staffing). Inside, consistently top notch.

There are tons of different seating options from indoor bar or deck bar, indoor dining room, outdoor dining deck, or even beach tables. For the beach tables, you are actually seated on a a private beach, which is fun for the kids who want to play in the water after you order. All of the staff are attentive and friendly and will help with special requests. When we first got there my wife wanted to sit outside and was told they had heaters (as I was dressing for 50's temps), but they didn't have them turned on. So, inside we went and sat at the bar. Stayed for couple of quick drinks. Nothing special about it but our bartender was very nice, personable and attentive. So from that standpoint service was great! Pricing was decent but if you are looking for an old fashioned, don't. It tasted like they splashed it with sprite or something, bathed in crushed ice and Marciano cherry. Very sweet. All of that was passable and went with the style but had to knock them down when I went to the rest room. It was dirty, paper towels on the floor and trash bins overflowing. I get they were busy on a Saturday night, but still. We will be back but hope to have a better review next time. If I recall their food was good, though menu is a little traditional - nothing too exciting for this foodie.
