Stopped by a for a little sweet treat - I was there after lunch, so the options were limited, but the staff was nice as I made my choice. I got the strawberry croissant, which had a strawberry jam center, streusel topping, dollop of frosting, and half a strawberry on top. Probably would pair better with some coffee, but I didn't mind the sweetness. Couple outdoor tables and chairs with views, clean restrooms in the back. read more

Food: sandwiches were large portions and it felt like a good value. We tried the roast beef, chicken salad and caprese. All we would get again. The quiche was also very good and my favorite. We had three treats- the guava tart, blueberry croissant and cronut. The blueberry croissant was too sweet for my kids The pastries were a miss for us. The juice is $7 and I wouldn't choose that again. Price: we got a lot of food... but it was expensive. A family of 4 is around $100 for lunch. Space: A little confusing inside and got very crowded. The table outside was nice until it became overrun with high schoolers but for the first 15 minutes we were there we really enjoyed it. The food was good enough that we would go back. This is not a super kid friendly place- the choices are all a little too fancy (for my kids at least). read more

I do love a delicious baked good. Billed as the "Best Bakery in Utah", do they live up to that standard? Well, it is one of the only bakeries I've been to in Utah, but all others have a lot to prove if they want to unseat Bonrue as the best. On our first visit we had a vanilla cronut that was delicious. So we went back the next day and got a strawberry donut (strawberry filling and strawberry frosted), a mixed berry cronut, a "tabernacle croissant" (vanilla bean filling and brown sugar dusting on top), a lemon meringue donut, a smores cookie, and a guava donut. The strawberry donut was excellent! The lemon meringue was very good, and the presentation of it was amazing. Personally I did not like the guava donut at all, but that's due to my dislike of guava! The mixed berry cronut was very good - I would love a strawberry version given how good the strawberry donut was. The tabernacle croissant was very good as was the S'mores cookie. We went back the next day and got their chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, and those were really excellent as well! Service was also very friendly each time we went in. read more

We have fallen in love with our little morning routine of grabbing delicious espresso from Deep Creek Coffee (across the street) and "melt in your mouth" pastries! We were welcomed with a friendly smile and helped promptly. The atmosphere is fresh, clean, modern aesthetic. You must stop in and try the pastry! We tried the Guava Cheese Danish , Cheese Danish, and they gave us a Strawberry Crossiant on the house! All were melt in your mouth delicious! Lightly sweet and buttery soft! We popped on over to Farmstead after breakfast across the street and I'm SO glad we did because it was delish! We got a chocolate croissant and then one of each sandwich: the ham and cheese, chicken salad on a croissant and the turkey and havarti on a croissant. And we ordered two coffees: a cold brew and an iced latte. The coffees were delicious and they accidentally gave us a milk chocolate croissant instead of a regular one but we didn't realize it until it was too late, so they were generous enough to let us have both. I actually think the milk chocolate one was even better than the regular chocolate cause it had a milk chocolate cream puff middle instead of the hard chocolate bar and it was delicious. We enjoyed the sandwiches on the way towards Bryce Canyon and the chicken salad croissant sandwich was by far my fave! The flavor was fantastic and the croissant was so soft and moist. Wow. This place is amazing. We stopped at the Shell for gas on the way out of town and I popped in for a bakery snack for the drive. I'm so glad I did. I got a turkey croissant sandwich and a strawberry croissant to share with my husband. Both things were absolutely delightful. The sandwich was fresh and delicious. The strawberry croissant was unexpected - it seems to be a half croissant with some fresh strawberries and strudel on top bruleed to make it crispy. It was so good. Zero complaints. The inside is very clean and a bit sparse. I didn't see any tables but I wasn't looking for any. The service was quick and friendly. I will certainly be back. read more

Walking through Springdale, we noticed Bonrue and the sign in their window that said, "Top 15 Croissants in America." We dropped in and purchased a couple of croissants and some juices. The croissants were beautifully but unfortunately the flavor was lacking, they needed more richness and more of that buttery taste. Farmstead is now very close to Zion National Park! About 1 mile to be exact. What a pleasant surprise. I used to grab their European-style goodies from St George and bring them to Springdale and now I can simply walk over from where I'm staying and have a fresh and warm croissant before hitting the park. So grateful! The store is stunning. So modern and each piece of pastry, breads, sweets, and drinks are displayed so beautifully. I'm such a fan of pretty much everything they make especially their perfect picnic sandwiches and my very favorites like ham & cheese croissants, and kouign-amann's. Their seasonal creations are not to be missed either. Service with a smile and I also learned that they'll be opening another location in Hurricane. Wow, this place was phenomenal! This is a must stop - seriously one of the best bakeries I've been to and holds up to boulangeries I've been to in France. We got the Pistachio Kronut which was fantastic - so light, moist, and not too sweet. We also got a Quiche Lorraine which was SO delicious, and two croissant sandwiches to eat later because everything looked so good! They even gave us free old fashioned donuts which paired perfectly with our iced lattes. The employees were also so kind! We will definitely be back next time we're visiting Zion. read more

We ordered two matcha's with an extra pump of vanilla syrup and I'm not sure if it was because of the syrup but it tastes a lot like milk rather than matcha. The cutest little bakery in town! Near bus stop #5, Farmstead was perfect for a post-hike snack before heading to our next destination. The worker was super nice and welcoming. We came 20 minutes before closing, and although the oven was already turned off, he offered to warm it back up so our quiches could be warmed. Shortly after dropping off our quiches, the worker stepped out and provided us with some leftover pastries that would end up in the trash. The sweetest little ending to the Zion leg of our trips. The pastries and sweets at Bonrue Bakery are exceptional! We stopped in one morning and tried the coffee and two s'mores cookies -- they were fantastic. The staff seemed a bit disengaged on our first visit, but when we went back before leaving town, they were much more pleasant. We grabbed a Guava Cheese Danish and a Cinnamon Roll, and both were absolutely delicious. So glad we decided to stop by again before heading out! Very clean and cute spot! read more

Cutest little bakery- was literally 5 min from where we were staying at Zion. Unfortunately we found it literally on our way out of Zion. We were having breakfast at the adjoining Mexican breakfast place and accidentally went into the bakery. Apparently they had opened 2 weeks ago, after having a successful one in St. George. Place has sandwiches and pasties, and of course coffee. After breakfast we just had to stop and get something; so we did coffee and an almond croissant. Both were what we were hoping they would be!
