We stopped by for breakfast and coffee. Breakfast is legit. We got a BLT, bagel sandwich, avocado toast, brown sugar coconut latte, drip coffee, Einstein smoothie, and a plain bagel with cream cheese. Service at the counter was just ok. Didn't seem overly friendly but we were able to order without any issues. Hence the missing star. Our food came out as it was ready. Kitchen staff were super friendly. The food was delicious. BLT had great flavor on focaccia bread. The bread on the avocado toast was multigrain and tasty with seeds. The drip coffee was nice and hot. You can bring your own cup for drip coffee and it's $2 instead of over $3 for a small. The latte was all milk - couldn't taste the coffee. Smoothie was delicious and fresh. There are tables inside and also tables outside on their patio. The front door is a little confusing. The main door doesn't open up to the Main Street. It faces the side street. Both doors have a label that's says "around the corner ". We walked from our hotel so I can't comment on the parking situation. When we ate our breakfast, we noticed the line getting long without anyone at the front counter. An employee saw and didn't get anyone for several more mins. So make sure you're not in a hurry. Drove by this spot, it was full of people, decided to stop by with my husband. It's honestly the go-to place when visiting Zion. Not only is it super cute and inviting but the employees are super welcoming! As soon as you walk in it's a small coffee shop with lots of amazing options on their menu, from their drinks to their food to the items for sell.they take their time with each customer, you're in line for a while but it's honestly worth it. The service is impeccable! Makes you feel part of the family. I got their iced salty date latte with 3 shots of espresso, I was on Cloud 9! Made with love! Stopped by Deep Creek to get some coffee/tea to fuel our day hiking the narrows. The coffee shop is the cutest little place, with the coziest decor. Their seasonal drinks are all very innovative, not like a typical coffee shop. I got one of their salted matcha lattes and literally downed it so quick. I also got their breakfast burrito with sausage, and it came with a salsa. The breakfast burrito came out piping hot, and I love that they crisp up the tortilla. For me, the potatoes in the burrito were a little salty, but nothing a little salsa couldn't fix. We came pretty early in the morning, so there were only a few workers there. It took about 10 minutes to order, and about another 5-10 minutes to get our items. Not a huge deal, but just a tip that they do make everything fresh, so of course there's going to be a bit of a wait. read more

Very patient, answer all questions kindly, and happy to help. I wanted to like this place, but the only thing is, the coffee is not very good and neither is the food. The coffee is mostly milk, and the flavors are incredibly subtle, so it's like you're just sipping a cup of milk. The food is also a bit bland even with the addition of hot sauce. Such delicious coffee that we stopped twice on either end of our Zion - Bryce moto trip. The line was out the door both times, but certainly worth the wait. Found this spot today and it's a total gem. It's on the smaller side, but they have way more options for coffee and food than you'd expect. I ordered a Caramel Brûlée Latte with breve and extra drizzle--literally so creamy and good. My wife got the same but with whole milk (no drizzle) and she was a huge fan too. The Food: * PB & Strawberry Toast: I'm not a banana girl, so the staff was awesome and let me swap them for strawberries instead. * Breakfast Burrito: This thing was a great size and actually full of flavor. Deep Creek is a great choice for drinks and food in Zion. My boyfriend and I came twice! I loved looking at the trinkets, chocolate and merch on the wall while we waited. The first time we went for lunch - I got the loaded steel cut oats which was very very good and fueled me up for a hike afterwards. I especially loved the raisins!! My boyfriend got the Camalot and has been raving about how good it was. He loved the bread and garlic aioli specifically. The second time we went, we ate inside for breakfast. Not much seating inside but luckily someone got up as we ordered! Lots of seating outside which I'm sure fills up during busy season. I got the vegan brahrito and my boyfriend got the quickdraw. He really enjoyed that too. After our breakfast we got lattes to go - I got a hot orange fig and my boyfriend got an iced mocha latte. We both enjoyed them! Overall, no complaints. This bagel & coffee spot is the best I've found in Zion while camping here for the week, and I've tried about four others in this area. Well deserved 5 stars from me! The Bagel Sandwiches are AMAZING: I got the Ham Jam and my boyfriend got the Piton. Both delicious. The Ham Jam was one of the best I've ever had. Scrambled egg with a sweet and savory mix, so good! I also got the Golden Apple Cold Brew (cold foam included) and the flavor was so great and it was so creamy. Great quality coffee here. Also the best I've had in Zion. My boyfriend got the Mexican Mocha and that was delicious as well! The service is great as well. My friend ordered a croissant and they took a while to bring it out to the point she forgot she ordered it; they brought it to her later and said they had refunded her since they took so long. Very kind of them that she didn't even have to ask. Seating both inside and outside! Very cute vibes. I feel like, to find a good coffee spot is hard enough, but to find a good breakfast spot AND coffee spot is very rare. Deep Creek is both! A super cute cafe near zion visitor center that opens early (6 am) for those wanting an early start to the day. We ordered a bagel with ham, egg and cheese and it really hit the spot. They sell cafe drinks and a selection of other breakfast/pastry items, as well as their own coffee and other small gift items. You can order ahead online but you can't order earlier than a little after 6. They have a small lot but it was full so parking is just street parking, which can be annoying in Springdale. read more

We had the lox and bagel, turkey sandwich, and breakfast burrito. All were delicious! The sausage burrito was my favorite handheld. It had so much flavor from the sausage to the potatoes and it wasn't greasy. This place gets a lot of traction for a reason so be prepared for a line. It is worth it! I must state right up front that I have reviewed thousands of restaurants over the many years, but I have NEVER experienced such a terrible, rude attitude as I experienced at this café a few weeks ago. My wife and I were nearing the end of a two-week vacation in the great national parks of Utah and New Mexico when we decided to visit this busy café in the town of Springdale, just outside Zion Canyon National Park. It was extremely busy, as one would expect in a crowded tourist town. This restaurant is one where you order your food from a cashier up front, then you seat yourself and they bring the food to your table. Our problems started out up front: the young woman taking our order was not familiar with the cash register or the system. So she was being coached by an older employee who was probably either the manager or the owner. No matter; she was also the biggest problem and rudest of them all. The younger woman (being trained) asked us for our order twice, then asked my wife (multiple times) what her name was. No problem...she was just forgetful, or stressed out. We understood that. I ordered the "loaded oatmeal" and a toasted bagel, while my wife ordered the "Mango Mama Smoothie Bowl," which seemed fairly simple. I also ordered a cup of coffee and a glass of water, which is where the problems began. First, we sat down and waited for our food to come out from the kitchen. After a short wait, a service person (a young man), came out holding my wife's order, and called out "smoothie bowl for Patty." So my wife said..."yes, that's me." The fellow with the food ignored her and looked around, still calling out "smoothie bowl for Patty." My wife repeatedly raised her hand and called out "that's me!" Even the folks at the next table were pointing at her, but he still didn't recognize her. And that's OK; either he didn't hear her (which would have been difficult), or maybe he was hard of hearing. I certainly would not have held that against him, but it was strange. I got my bagel about five minutes after my oatmeal, but I did finally get it. So now, all I needed was the glass of water. I returned to the front counter and asked, which made the older (manager?) woman point at the small service area in the back of the dining area and tell me to get my water from there. So I stopped back and found there were no glasses to be seen. None at all. So I returned to the cashier's counter and asked again....trying to be nice, I asked the woman if I should just take a coffee cup from the counter and use that instead. Instead of answering, this rude, rude woman turns around and aggressively grabs two handfuls of glasses and storms around to the front water stand. There, she grabbed a tray that was partially concealed beneath an overhanging shelf and WHIPPED it out in anger. She did so with such force that two glasses (which had been hidden beneath the shelf) came flying out at her. I guess she felt like she needed to display her anger at being asked for a glass...I don't know. After slamming the glasses into place, she whipped around and stomped back to her station behind the counter. Meanwhile, another customer (who was a 20-25 year-old woman) watched her with eyes wide-open in amazement. I looked back at this girl and said "...I guess I'm not coming back to this place again. That same rude, abusive manager woman screamed out "GOOD!" Folks, I don't know what else to say about this place. I have eaten in many restaurants in my 70 years on Earth, but this place takes the take. It was terrible, horrible, rude, in addition to being hot and filled with flies inside. I would much rather go hungry than have to return to this poor excuse of a restaurant. It is just NOT WORTH IT. read more
