Best bakery in Utah?!? Yessssss-soooo good! We dropped by at 1:30pm on Christmas Eve and they were closed. The owner came out and hooked us up! The cream cheese danish was heavenly! Cinnamon donut was also amazing. Can't wait to try the croissant chicken sandwiches. What a great place to stop! Will definitely be back. I stepped across the pond upon arriving- Arles, France had an amazing sweet/savory range of pastries. Farmstead took it up a notch with the Kouign-amann! This layered sweet is a round multi-layered cake, originally made with bread dough (nowadays sometimes viennoiserie dough), containing layers of butter and incorporated sugar, similar in fashion to puff pastry, albeit with fewer layers. The cake is slowly baked until the sugar caramelizes. Yum! The cheese danish and this were our tie for 1st! Go experience Farmstead, so worth the trip. read more

I drive from Las Vegas to come here on the weekends. I'm not even ashamed to say it anymore. This is a place that you dream about and most places don't meet the expectations. Tons of choices, well executed desserts pastries and sandwiches, this place has it while. While I've come for the sandwiches which are always a great choice, you really need to go for the pastries. What is the best? Anything with their puff. Flaky layers, crispy and soooooo satisfying. I love the cheese danish although it's a little sweet for me so I normally enjoy more fruit and cheese danish but you can't go wrong with any of them. The vanilla bean doughnut and milk chocolate tart also great along with their s'mores cookie. This is one of those places where you bring a friend so you get doubled the amount of food and get to try it all. Also an honorable mention their strong coffee to go with the very sweet desserts. I only took one picture of what I got and the sad news is it was all for myself and I ate it right there on the spot. This place is incredible and consistent which to me makes it one of the best bakeries in the country and I've traveled all over the place. I've heard amazing things but just haven't been able to make it down to St. George to try the bakery out! We were on our way to Vegas so obviously had to stop. I got a Mozz BLT and wow. Amazing. I've even taken a croissant class in Paris and was told you can tell a good one buy all the layers...look at all those layers in my photo. Perfectly caramelized sugar and again, so many flaky layers. We then bought sandwiches to go (ate them in Jenny's Canyon in Snow Canyon State Park), which were also fantastic! My wife and I were traveling the country throughout the summer of 2022, and this is one of the places that we were incredibly excited to visit. When we arrived, we discovered that the door of our trailer was jammed shut. We spent well over an hour trying to unlock the door - which lead to a gigantic argument that could have ruined our day.
