When I showed up for my appointment, I was greeted by two people offered something to drink and/or a snack. The atmosphere was pleasant and the Beautician Alyssa was very friendly and did a wonderful job! In fact, it's the best pedicure I've ever had! I only had one hour left after I got my hair done from them to get ready which made me a little bit late to the ceremony because I had to go to the store to shop and buy all the tools and I still need to do my make up. The salon called me back in the evening and told me they could redo it--but I was already at the event and I'm not local, so that wasn't an option. As a full-time working mom, this was supposed to be a rare moment to treat myself, and it turned into a stressful experience instead. I trusted the stylist to add volume, but it wasn't done as promised. You were my one chance to feel confident and pampered, and it turned into disappointment. To also not be offered a refund is ridiculous. I would rather have driven to Ulta and paid $80 for the same service and get better results. I also tipped $10 as well. These nails have lasted me longer than any nails I've ever had. As far as salon experience, Daisy treated me like family. I was here for a wedding traveling from Washington DC and would definitely recommend this to anyone in town or passing through. A few important things to note: - the salon is appointment only, no walk ins - they do not take credit card. I'm glad I had Venmo because I could see this being an issue for some people. - their online website doesn't appear to be working but calling in for an appointment works - pricing is steeper than what I'm used to but Daisy was very transparent at the salon. She had a paper brochure of services and explained how they use high quality products. I would tell you 3 weeks out that I absolutely see the value on the full set. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the owner grabbed my arm and dragged me over to another customer to "explain" the nails in front of them, which was incredibly inappropriate and humiliating. I continued to calmly express that I didn't like how thick and poorly shaped the tips were, and the owner suddenly became hostile. She started yelling at me, refused to fix the issue, and ultimately kicked me out of the salon. As I was leaving, she followed me outside, continuing to yell and act disrespectfully. When I mentioned I would be leaving a negative review, she escalated even more. This was not only unprofessional, but completely unacceptable behavior. No customer should ever be treated this way.
