I've been here before and received a nice pedicure from a gentleman. My last experience was awful!!! I had an incredibly rude lady who did my acrylic nails. It took her multiple times to get it right and when I questioned her she was defensive. Aside from being distracted with her phone she upcharged for every little thing she did and the end result didn't look like the picture. She needs to learn some customer service!!! I was honestly worried to come because we all know most the times they always try to upsell on things. And so far, the experience has been very different. There was no waiting they immediately asked what we wanted and sat us down to start. I only wanted a pedicure so that's all I will base it on. Wanted #3 paraffin wax and that is what they did. Nothing extra, except the add on I personally asked for (Gel instead of regular polish). They actually timed the massage to make sure you knew you were getting what you asked for. Which I honestly enjoyed. The color selections were nice. The cuticles were done well. And when my nail was cracked they offered to fix it or leave it. I chose to leave it and what I loved even more was that when they noticed it wasn't bad it was just going to be shorter they asked me if the length was fine and that wouldn't needed repair. Of course! Oh and did I mentioned the complimentary drinks? Yeah, they have those. My pedicure isn't finished yet, but I am expecting a great result. read more

Not sure to give a 3 or 4 I walked in for a pedicure on a Monday after work and was able to get in right away. It was tough to communicate with the gal doing my nails as she did not understand English. I was offered a beverage a couple times but I had brought one with me, it was nice of them to check in on me. I had to get someone to translate 3 times but the concern was fixed. It took a long time; that can be good and bad. The attention is nice and trying to get it right. After an hour and a half the owner or manager took over while the other gal watched for instruction which took another 15 or so minutes. In the end my toes looked nice. read more

My guy Lee is so talented! I've been going to him for a little over a year and I can go SO long between fills because he does such excellent work. It's so hard to find a truly talented nail tech! He can get my fill done in 30 minutes if it's a simple one color design and no more than an hour ever, which I appreciate. The salon itself is clean and they have nice music and TV's to watch and massaging pedicure chairs. This last time I had him do a French manicure and it's just stunning; he didn't even have to fix his lines, he just did them right the first time. I highly recommend this shop. read more

There's so many nail salons around the area with this same name so looking up a new salon was so confusing especially since I'm new to San Diego. This was what my nails originally looked liked before I told her to redo. When I pointed the horrible paint job to her she kept acting like she couldn't see it. I mean???? She fixed it but it didn't look much better so I said I "liked the second repaint" because I wanted to leave. I ended up taking the polish off and paining my own toes at home. Also no hygiene at all. She reached in my pedicure soak to put a device with her bare hands no gloves. I've worked at salons before and that's a big no because how am I supposed to be sure she didn't have a fungal infection on her hand. Same with me, a nail tech isn't supposed to reach in the water w/o gloves because she isn't sure I might have something on my feet. Unhygienic, in a rush, and the worst paint job ever. 0/10 recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else read more

I usually go to another location closer to home, but I needed my eyebrows threaded so I decided to come here. I asked for pink tips, nothing out of the ordinary. I gotten this style done several times before to know that what the lady did was NOT IT! She only painted my tips! No neutral color underneath to hide my natural nail bed color. She made my tips uneven. I tried to tell her several times but she didn't understand what I was saying nor bother to ask anyone else for translation. I was annoyed that my tips were ugly and not what I wanted. I went home to realize that my toes were not painted properly either and was only noticeable in the sun because of the color. It looked like there was water in between the gel layers. I called the salon immediately to complain and that I would come back to get it fixed. When I went back, my toes weren't touched at all, but luckily (or so I thought) my tips were redone (sort of). The tech put ONE layer of neutral color and painted over my old tips and because of the poor job my nails started to lift within a few days!! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!! read more

Lee is amazing!! I had a 4 o'clock appointment, and when I arrived, Lee was not available, but they had someone remove my gel for me while he was finishing up and he came over and worked with me on finding a design. I just knew I wanted snowflakes. I am blown away by his attention to detail and his artistic ability. He's so sweet and the entire staff is so nice. This place is very clean and I've had gel and manicures and pedicures here before and have never been disappointed. I truly wish I could give zero stars. I don't usually get my nails done because I'm a part-time worker and a college student, so there are other things I need to spend my money on. But after the holiday season, I had some extra cash and thought, "Why not treat myself?" I walked in, everything seemed fine, and the staff were friendly. However, things took a turn during the pedicure. I do have an ingrown toenail, but it's never caused me problems before, so I assumed the technician was just doing his best. That was until my toe started bleeding--profusely. I'm talking about blood running down my foot, and it didn't stop for at least 30 minutes. The technician kept sanitizing it, washing it, and applying pressure, but it was a mess. I told them several times I didn't think it was a good idea to paint my toenails after that, fearing it could get infected, but they kept brushing me off, laughing it off, and reassuring me that I was fine. It was honestly baffling. I've never had anything like this happen before. Two days later, my toe still hurts to the point where it's difficult to walk or wear shoes. I'm not trying to be dramatic, but I spent over $100 to have my toe essentially cut and bleed for the entire session. I came in hoping for a little pampering, but instead, I left in pain. I'll never be coming back. Very disappointed. read more

I have always been a person that appreciated a good pedicure, manicure and/or massage. So, it was off to a new nail salon. As I entered the salon I was immediately greeted which was nice. I asked questions about the different types of pedicures, manicure, full set of acrylic. Etc. As I sat in one of the pedicure chairs it seemed ok. The pedicure started and so did the full set acrylic nails. The acrylics was completed in 45-minutes. Yet, the pedicure took 2-hours. The work was sloppy. Acrylic underneath my nails (which should have been smooth) also, acrylic on cuticles. Nails were uneven. I asked for active length which the acrylic nail tip would be slightly over the finger tip. The gel was on my fingertips and not cleaned. The pedicure wasn't worth $60 and acrylic not worth $70. When I go to nail salons, it's always nice to see the technicians wearing a smock, apron with their name on it. It's also nice if they can be looking neat (hair combed, clean clothes) not in sweat pants, sweat shirts, slippers with socks on. Appearance is everything. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

I asked about a service before agreeing to being serviced. For builder gel on my natural nails, this place made it so difficult for something so simple. I explained that regular gel peeled off my nails so i rather have builder gel. They agreed but still tried to put other types of gels on my nails. I went through three different people to do my nails only for them to look crappy. I asked for a manicure with builder gel and a regular pedicure. For my pedicure, the guy cheated me on my foot massage and didn't complete service. I never got a manicure and i had to beg for cuticle oil at the end of my service. They kept saying that the gel they wanted to use on my nails were easier. I don't want what's easy, i want what I'm paying for. They got upset and started talking in their native language. I politely explained what i wanted and why i didn't want to use a normal gel versus the builder gel i asked for. The lady tried to silence me not to speak. They were completely rude and i will never visit this location again. I don't recommend this location!!! read more
