V3. The best item on the menu.

Booboo continues to be the most solid choice in the area for Vermicelli Rice middle bowls. Get V3. It is the best item on the menu. Trust me....

(5/5) I recently stumbled upon Boo-Boo Pho on a total whim craving hot soup on a hot summer day (call me wild), and let me just say... no regrets. I started with the summer rolls, and boo-boo, they were incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and that peanut sauce? I'm obsessed. Creamy, rich, slightly sweet it deserves its own spotlight. Calms me down from my spicy pho I ordered the small steak pho ($13.97), and it hit all the right notes. The broth was bold, deep, and comforting. The noodles had perfect texture, and the fresh herbs and veggies added so much balance. The portion size was generous, and honestly, worth every penny. The restaurant itself was spotless. I could see straight into the kitchen and it looked super clean huge plus. The vibe inside was laid-back but inviting, perfect for a casual meal that still feels special. And let's talk options, this place has range. Bánh mì that looked amazing Vermicelli bowls, stir-fried noodles, rice plates A full drink menu with Thai iced tea, sparkling lemonades, and milk teas (next time, I'm getting one for sure) I'll be adding photos , but just know: Boo-Boo Pho is officially on my repeat list. Came here three times since June 28. Fresh, flavorful, affordable, and clean. What more could you ask for?

Boo Boo is a Vietnamese restaurant located in the Montgomery Village center. My partner and I dined in for a weekday lunch and we got the BooBoo Pho special, grilled pork vermicelli bowl, and papaya salad. All the dishes were good, and flavorful. The pho broth was good, and you can really taste the cloves used. It's located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking. Service was good and fast. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

The best Vietnamese food in the area, including Rockville. I always get the grilled pork chop with rice and egg, plus a Vietnamese iced milk coffee which is amongst the best I've had. An excellent restaurant hidden in a strip mall in Montgomery village. Highly recommend!

3.15.24 This is a Vietnamese restaurant located in Montgomery Village Center. They serves appetizers, pho (noodle soup), banh mi (sandwiches), rice dishes, vermicelli bowls, and salads. I had lunch with my dad. He got the P1. BooBoo Pho Special and hot tea. I got the Brisket Pho and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I also got R3. Grilled Beef with Steamed White Rice with an added egg for my hubby to go. The brisket was tender and yummy, but there wasn't a lot of meat. My ice coffee was tasty. It had a creamy and frothy layer of top, which was a unique experience. My hubby said his dish was good too. Server was friendly and helpful in answering my questions. I liked the wall decor which included license plates, a map, and global currency.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and good food. Not the best pho I've ever had, but still delicious! I got the booboo pho special - broth was good, but they were skimping on the meat. The grilled porkchop (R1 from the menu) was flavorful and juicy, but I wish they added more sides to that dish for the price (it was just a fried egg, tomato/cucumber and pickled veg). Overall, I would come back if I was in the area!

Food is very good but service isn't great unfortunately. I ordered a pork banh mi and they brought out the wrong dish, so I just had them remove it from my order. My husband is vegan and they also had difficulty explaining what was in their sauces which can be dangerous for people. The resturant itself seemed very clean, just make sure you get what you order! The prices are excellent though, I will say!

Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. This food was pretty terrible and tasted like nothing. The chicken wings just tasted like fried oil. The meat itself wasn't cooked enough and had no seasoning whatsoever on it not even salt. The spring rolls were OK. I would say that that was the best thing that we got my mom enjoyed her pho but said it was pretty lackluster again no seasonings no nothing. I gotta bond me with shrimp. The bread they use is not a good choice for the sandwich and there was four pieces of shrimp a little bit of cucumber and a couple more things on it but again it just should've been filled better because of the size of the bread I think if they're gonna give the amount that they gave, they should have a smaller bread and most of the bread I just had to peel off because it was just hard and not good. Overall, if I could give zero stars I would, but I hope that they can step their game up because I don't like to see any small businesses fail.

This was my first visit here. The service was good. Simple decors. I ordered a small pho with meatballs. It was good but could have a little more depth in flavor. The summer rolls were fresh and excellent with delicious peanut dipping sauce. I am willing to give the pho another try and other dishes.

Great new addition to the neighborhood. I'm curious to hear more about how they came up with the name for the restaurant. Stopped by here for a late lunch. Our party of two shared the pork banh mi and chicken vermicelli plate with an egg roll. I thought it was pretty standard Vietnamese food. They also have some Thai dishes on the menu. I'll have to work my way through their menu and try all of the dishes. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of parking available in the shopping center.

Clean and friendly with a full menu. The rice noodle bowls look great but I've only had the soup. The broth is a bit bland but everything else is so nice. I'll keep coming back!

Steak and tripe pho with mango slush
    Alex M.

Booboo Pho is such an underrated pho spot, i always come with my friend and order the steak and tripe with a mango slush and it never disappoints! The service is great and they dont bother you when you're eating they just let you enjoy your food which is great if you just come to chill and eat like me hehe (i am still very much appreciative of them and the water refills i get!!!) but i highly recommend this spot its one of my favorite pho spots to just eat and chill and watch my youtube lol. Always great fast and consistent!! 1000/10

La Poteria was the perfect midpoint to grab our morning caffeine fix and a bite to eat before we hit the Harpers Ferry hiking trails. The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.

There has been times when my drink didn't come out the same as when I first bought them. So I guess it just depends on who is making the drink. It was grossly sweet, so sweet that it genuinely made me a little nauseous. I only took two sips before asking if they could make it less sweet or possibly switch it for a matcha latte, which was the exact same price. I was asked if I was going to pay for a new drink, which I found frustrating. If the issue is with the drink itself, especially when I had barely touched it, I don't think the customer should have to pay again for a replacement of equal value. They offered to add more milk, but it didn't really help, and I was also told I'd have to pay if I wanted them to add more tea. At that point, it felt like there was no real effort to resolve the issue. I even had my friend try the drink, and she agreed that it didn't really taste like a Thai latte. To me, it tasted mostly like milk, food coloring, and an overwhelming amount of sugar. I also ordered a garlic cream cheese bread, which was good. Not the best I've had, but definitely not bad. I'd say their pastries are a step above their drinks based on my experience. I'm also in the service industry, so I try to be understanding when things aren't perfect. That's why the way this was handled bothered me more than the drink itself. This felt like a very easy situation to fix, and I would've handled it differently with a customer. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect some willingness to make a reasonable correction when a customer is clearly unhappy with something they've barely consumed. Overall, I probably won't be coming back. The staff were friendly, and it is a quiet place to study with free Wi-Fi, so I could see myself recommending it for grabbing a small pastry and getting some work done between classes. But for the prices, I don't think the quality or customer service was enough to make me want to return, especially when I can go to Tous Les Jours and get what I consider better quality for a similar price. I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the drink and the way the situation was handled left a pretty bad impression.

The employee who gave me my drink showed it to his supervisor I guess because quite a bit of the ice had melted. He was told, "it's fine, it sat" with a who cares attitude. I was fine with the drink as I was late and I had not asked for a remake. Since it was quite diluted on top, I went over to stir the drink and remove the cover. The supervisor looked over at me then proceeded to tell the employee that it's not their problem if it's not picked up on time, they just make them when we give them a time. His attitude was very much "screw them if they are late." As I was standing right across from him, I said, "I heard you." He approached the area that leads to the dining room and said "I was talking to him, mind your business." As I have worked in customer service, managed service employees, and hire service reps, my comment to him was simply to bring awareness that his "customer" should not be witness to his complete disregard for them or their purchase. He became very aggressive and told me to get my drink and get out. I asked for his name and he refused and continued to tell me to get out and don't come back. I shared that I would be reporting his behavior and he responded, good. You are trespassed. I asked for what reason? and was told that he didn't like my attitude and that unless I didn't have a problem with him then to get out and he would call the police if I ever came back. He proceeded to tell me that he had plenty of customers and didn't need my business as he has 5 stores. Truthfully, I am happy not to return to this store or any other if this is the level of service provided by your employees. On my previous visit, I waited almost 10 minutes for my drink after it was to be ready and I had no issues or complaints with the staff. Things happen and I assume they did not hold up my drink on purpose. To not be extended the same courtesy as a paying customer is beyond mind boggling. There are too many similar bakeries in this area for me to stress over this location, but poor service bothers me and this was far beyond poor service.

I ordered a large bowl but should have gotten a small. A robot delivered my order to the table with the help of Ben, which was a hoot. I have to say that the scent of the broth hit my nose first and it was heavenly. The accompaniments of lime, basil, bean sprouts and jalapeno slices were very fresh. I added a few modest squirts of sriracha sauce and got to eating. The round steak was a nice surprise ... steak in pho can be very chewy and this bowl had decently tender slices. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the meatballs. They looked like half slices of a firm sausage (for comparison). They didn't taste bad, they just weren't my jam and I enjoyed the steak more. Next time I'd like to try the steak and brisket. Comfort food is filling so I took my leftovers home so I could have the pho for dinner (yay!). Of course, I had to end the meal with an iced Vietnamese coffee. Strong in the best way and not overly sweet, I took it to go and it gave me plenty of energy to finish my errands throughout the day.
