Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your money. This food was pretty terrible and tasted like nothing. The chicken wings just tasted like fried oil. The meat itself wasn't cooked enough and had no seasoning whatsoever on it not even salt. The spring rolls were OK. I would say that that was the best thing that we got my mom enjoyed her pho but said it was pretty lackluster again no seasonings no nothing. I gotta bond me with shrimp. The bread they use is not a good choice for the sandwich and there was four pieces of shrimp a little bit of cucumber and a couple more things on it but again it just should've been filled better because of the size of the bread I think if they're gonna give the amount that they gave, they should have a smaller bread and most of the bread I just had to peel off because it was just hard and not good. Booboo Pho is such an underrated pho spot, i always come with my friend and order the steak and tripe with a mango slush and it never disappoints! There is finally a Pho restaurant in the Montgomery Village area. The restaurant is very clean and nicely lit. I've tried food for both take-out and dine-in and both are very good. Food is a bit pricey compared to other Pho's ($15 for a Large bowl) but considering that if you are in the Montgomery Village area you do not need to go over to Rockville or farther out to get Pho, it is pretty good. For years, Pho Hoa Binh in Rockville has been my favorite place for pho but I think I just found a new favorite place - BooBoo Pho in Montgomery Village! We went there on a whim on a cool night recently. The restaurant was clean and modern. The people were friendly and attentive. Nothing fancy but straight forward and modern. And the food??? Well, it was great! I got the pho with steak and brisket. That bowl was so full of meat and noodles and onions and parsley and all the other goodies. Delicious! The aroma was beautifully complex - strong hint of star anise along with all the other super secret spices they put in the broth. The broth warmed me up and filled my belly. It was very good! I got the large order and I almost had to stop before finishing - but I just couldn't. I ate the whole darn thing! I had started with chicken spring rolls. They, too, were good and stuffed with real big pieces of real chicken. Tasty! The peanut sauce was thick and full of peanut pieces. When I was at the restaurant, I had a food allergy reaction. I told the cashier I was allergic to bean sprouts when she went back to the kitchen to inform the cook. In the kitchen, I noticed they were undoing my bag and trying to do something with my food. There must have been sprouts in my food that they tried to take out before bringing it back to me. My food was ready, so I sat down to eat it. After eating for a few minutes, my throat began to swell. When I started coughing in the cashier's she came over and asked if I was okay. I asked if there was beanspot in my food, and she said no, so I took my allergy medication. After a while, I was able to do it. Even after , it was still taking me a while to sit on the bench outside. Food crossed contaminated with bean sprouts, I believe. I tried to reach out to them the next day. I've been on a three month venture to find great Pho in the Montgomery County area. Boo Boo's beef pho, with steak and brisket (P5 on the menu) is as good as any I have had. It was not overly spiced to take away from the protein or the other condiments There was over a quarter pound of steak and brisket in the pho, more than most any other establishments I have tried in the last three months The steak was sliced extremely thinly and it was tender and flavorful. The brisket was equally cut, extremely thinly, it did not fall apart in the soup and was a wonderful complement to the steak. The bean sprouts were very fresh, the noodles, flavorful and plentiful, and the cilantro and onions added a perfect complement to the flavors of the broth and the meat The best way to describe this bowl of pho was, it was very very fresh, it was satisfying, filling, but left a very fresh taste in your mouth. I ordered a large plain pho and my husband got a large meatball pho. The flavor of the broth was very good, however, the portions are small. I usually can't finish a large at other pho places but I was still hungry after finishing the whole bowl here. My husband said the same thing about the portion and the meatballs in the pho was cut into small pieces. In a picture posted by the business owner, the meatballs are cut in half but the meatballs were cut into quarters.
