Got 2 dozen crabs 25% of the crabs were bad. Not the first time that's happen, but it will be the last. Talked to friends about it and they had same experience. I don't know about the rest of their food, but save your money and don't buy crabs. read more

The Lobster roll was terrifying. I thought it was simply lobster, butter, and bread. This was some sort of fake lobster salad with a philly cheesesteak roll. The fries were alright but its fries. The quality just didn't match the price. read more

Their seafood is really good and affordable, and the service was excellent! I ordered a pick 3 meal with fish fillets, fried oysters, and a lump crab cake. The order came with fries, a dinner roll, and coleslaw. I really enjoyed the crab cake and fried oysters. The crab was sweet and fresh, and the breading was great too! The oysters were the same! The breading was crispy too. I would say the fish was good, but it did not stand out like the other options. I had passed this place a couple times and was always intrigued I finally stopped and am kicking myself that it took so long to go! First, the food is incredible I got spiced shrimp and crab legs and both tasted fresh and were perfectly seasoned . Second, they were SO nice and helpful as I I was trying to figure out what to order. Third, the prices were so reasonable. Ordering anywhere else, even a grocery store, would have cost much more. Lastly, service was QUICK. My order took less than 10 min and I waited inside my car since it was a hot day. The outside has a nice parking area. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Well, I finally decided to give Cameron's food truck a try. The food and service ate! I had the pick four selection. I wanted catfish and they sold out! Not to let that spoil my first experience with them, Moses said I'll give you two crab cakes what!!! The crab cakes, scallops, and fried oysters were Don't get me wrong here. Sometimes it's just about how a business address a complaint, and not that there was one. Overall the food here was as I expected. I received in value what I paid for. We really enjoyed the spiced shrimp. We also purchased 1 dozen #1 male crabs. Several were larger than #1. I actually looked up online what #1 means, as I initially assumed the larger ones were average, to learn they were above average. So, 4 of the crabs were mush. I called the next day, did have to explain that I did not save the bad crabs. I was told to come on by and they would give me a half dozen crabs. I went over and ordered another pound of shrimp. I also ordered the large crab cake, knowing that for the price listed it would have a lot of filler. I mentioned I had called about the bad crabs, and stated I would be happy with just replacing the 4 bad ones. I ended up with 5 perfect crabs. The crab cake did have filler. My opinion is the large crab cake is too large to get all the filler cooked without burning the outside. Again, for the price it was what I expected. I will return and purchase more spiced shrimp when in the mood for some again. I live close enough by to buy crabs, in case of bad ones. YMMV read more

my parents live in the germantown / rockville area so I occasionally am in town. drove by this place a couple times my last trip out and really wanted to try it, but had to convince my elderly parents that food from a truck is a perfectly reasonable way to ingest seafood. was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and value. pricing is very reasonable. had a little of everything - ordered 2 lbs of shrimp, 1 lb of crab, fried clams, and some crab cakes. everything was fantastic, especially when considering the value and convenience. the crab cakes had some filler, so i could do without that, and i've never been a huge fan of fried clams (too much breading), but i had to get those for the rest of my family, including my brother who loves fried clams. i really enjoyed both the crabs and especially the shrimp. man, the shrimp was juicy, tender, and flavorful. i wish i lived in the area so i could frequent this establishment on the regular. i'm hoping my parents will return in my absence to support the truck. i also nerded out with my guy at the truck over kimetsu no yaiba, so that's just extra credit. great food, great staff, great value. read more

Fantastic quality crabs. Found this place on a total whim and SURPRISE it's 7 minutes from my house. Seeing as the Cameron's on Rockville Pike is usually my go to for crabs I was totally psyched that this place was just as good! Not only that but the guy at the window gave me a deal and I'm a sucker for a deal. Needless to say I've found my new go to place for the rest of the Summer. read more

The food was okay. Service is relatively quick and the attendant is very pleasant. Bring cash or you have to pay the 2 dollar card fee, regardless if it's credit or debit. 1. Crab cake: more breading than crab meat. Crab flavor barely comes through. Fried nicely, though. 2. Spiced shrimp: overcooked and not enough seasoning, barely any really. Service and food is good but everything is upcharged compared to the stand alone seafood markets that bear the same name. Example; #1 crabs are between $40-50 usually at the regular store but here they are $75! And most of the other menu items are about $2 more with additional card fee. It's convenient for the Germantown area but if you wanna save a few bucks just go to Rockville or the Frederick locations. read more

I have always drove passed the food truck and decided to give it a try. I got a pound of cooked crab legs and crab cake sandwich. There is no real parking lot so just have to park on the side where the truck is located. Everything was ready in about 10 min. The crab legs were great, good flavor and juicy. The crab cake sandwich was good as well but, lacked in flavor. Comes with battered fries and coleslaw which was awesome. I'll come back whenever I am having my seafood craving. read more

I've gone to Cameron's in Rockville for years, but there really isn't much available up Gaithersburg/Germantown way, except for the BUFF truck, just down the road, which sucks. Got some jumbo crabs and steamed shrimp from the mobile truck for the first time, yesterday, and was totally happy. The crabs and shrimp were fresh cooked, and done just right. They were running a little behind on the pickup time, and the guy threw in a little extra, just to be nice. I didn't ask, and he didn't have to, but I appreciated it. Had our first crab feast of the year today. Party of 6, practicing social distancing. Purchased a bushel of crabs from Cameron's food truck. The workers were nice and helpful, got our crabs right away, hot and ready to eat. Other customers were being safe and wearing masks and standing 6 feet apart. Most crabs were heavy and delicious, A few on the smaller light weight side. All in all - good food for a beautiful day! read more

Went here last week and got snow crab legs (1 pound) and the spicy shrimp platter. Really liked the snow crab legs I was surprised at how good they were. I was craving them for a while and it was great this place is so close to me. I looked up the reviews prior to going. The shrimp was good but not that spicy and some of them shrimp was kind of mushy I would say...I didn't really like that. Also the cocktail sauce could have been chilled. When I go back I would prob get the crab legs again along with the fried shrimp platter. The battered fries that comes with the shrimp was really tasty. read more

Very disappointed, no flavor, fish was cut up fillet and horrible. Shrimp were jumbo in size but had mo flavor-a waste of my hard earned money.
