My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. But please don't portray an event that has created so many positive memories for so many people as something negative, because that's simply not the experience the rest of us have had. The most concerning issue was that we ordered three paellas but only received two, yet we were charged for all three. When we questioned the bill, we were told that all three had been served. At the end of the evening, the waitress explained that she was serving all the tables alone because the other server had disappeared. I understand that staffing problems happen, and I do not blame one waitress for being overwhelmed. However, when a restaurant accepts a reservation for 20 people for a special celebration, adequate staffing and organization should be provided. The food deserves 5 stars, but the long waits, disorganized service, and billing issue made our overall experience a 3-star one.
