Nice gifts also in this store, like hand creams, soaps, reader glasses, jewelry, etc. Queen was knowledgeable about fiction and helped pick out my fiction. Made the mistake of purchasing what I thought was St. Croix info. book but it had mostly other islands in the book, w help from someone. Returned a few minutes later but for store credit only. Kinda wish I didn't have to do a credit. It was what it was. A kind shopper invited me to join the book club and made the 2nd recommendation. Nice all around shop. Light on bird books of VI, decent map of St. Croix would be nice, just suggestions. Enjoyed your shop.

Plus other items like chocolate, kids educational toys, etc. Had I known what an amazing selection they had, I would have left room in my suitcase. l will plan ahead the next time I'm in town. Love that there's a post office across the street so media mail is an option. Had a cart of discounted books outside. Friendly, helpful employees. Standard pricing.

They have a good selection of books in both Spanish and English. We like that they have some travel books, art books, and a nice selection of both fiction and nonfiction. They have a cute indoor cafe with food options and seating. They sell a lot of little gifts. My only complaint is this place is going to be so popular, I wish they'd made the new location even bigger! Definitely recommend this place.

I've called and visited so many libraries in PR I have lost count. During this past week I decided to go to Rio Piedras, "barrio" in San Juan, Puerto Rico's capital, where a lot of libraries surround one of the University of Puerto Rico. After going to 4 different libraries, I ran into this one. Little did I know I had found a gem in the middle of Río Piedras... One of the employees there took me to the second floor, where old, vintage and classic books are hidden from the public eye. Several first editions. This librarian took me on "a trip" down Puerto Rico's most interesting stories... after an hour or so I left the store with around 7 books based on the topic I have been looking for and every book ranged from $5-15. I took 7 books for little over $70.00 and when I reached for a CD of Puertorrican traditional songs, the librarian gave me the cd for free. This place is the best! They have from the newest to the oldest books! Do NOT hesitate to visit it if you love books.

If you feel like you are being ripped off when you're here you most likely are. $30 for a rum cake…read morethat is highway robbery! You can buy a large bottle of rum next door for that instead! Your friends would rather have the bottle of rum from St.Thomas than that rum cake! This store is your last chance at the airport to purchase anything "St.Thomas" before you depart. It's expensive so to all the tourists out there plan ahead and make a stop at Kmart, they have the same items there for waaaauyyy less. $9 for a refrigerator magnet, key chain or teeeny bottle of hot sauce?! That just doesn't work for me. Cheepo printed shirts will cost you north of $25. (Kmart sells the same shirts for $12)If you didn't have time to plan then this is your spot, you will find something to take back home. I will say that they do have a very nice collection of books and reading materials for the plane ride, but those these days become clunky to haul around. Snacks here on the other hand are reasonably priced and may be the better option than going to that rancid school cafeteria food like place they call a restaurant in this terminal. #St.Thomas #USVI
