Small in size as far as the cafe area goes, there's six tables and a few stools at a drink rail... but the bookstore part is much larger. We ordered up two americanos and asked for mugs (coffee just doesn't taste the same out of a paper or plastic cup). They have mugs but you have to ask (we were the only ones with mugs at the tables) and you can't take the mugs into the bookstore. Our coffees came up in a timely manner and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Had an appointment for 11am. No one showed up. Called and left a message at 1:30, they said driver…read moreis on the way. No one showed up. Called at 5:30 and left a message. They texted that they cancelled b/c the driver couldn't find the location. No call, no text from the driver. I gave very clear instructions as to how to find my apartment as well as the gate code. The food delivery people never have an issue finding my place, and I literally copied the same instructions I give them. So...that just tells me no one came out or ever was going to. I now have two very heavy boxes of 90 books sitting at the base of my stairs. Terrible service. Would not recommend. I was just trying to donate to a better cause than Goodwill, but I guess that was a bad idea. Horribly run. You can't even speak to a person. You just have to leave voicemails. Don't waste your time. **Update: As you can see from his response to this Yelp review, the owner does not take responsibility for the poor customer service. My account is not a fraud & I am still actively reviewing other businesses. My books were all in pristine condition and all pretty new (see pictures). Mostly hard cover new-releases, best sellers. They were not water-logged or insect infested. How does he know the condition of my books if no one ever showed up to get them? Here's a hint...Do what you say you're going to do. Keep your appointments. Don't slander people who are trying to donate almost $2,000 worth of books to your organization. It's not a good look. Tom, clearly you have a lot of time on your hands if you keep posting responses to my Yelp review. Maybe if you put more time into your business, it would run smoother. The point is, I had an appointment at 11:00 am. The books were at the base of my staircase as I mentioned in my reservation. They were still there at 1:30 pm, so I called and I received a text that the driver was on his way. That is 2 1/2 hours later. I opened my door again at 5:30 pm and looked down my stairs, the boxes were still there. The address I provided is my correct address. I even included my building number, unit number and the gate code. There is a map by the gate to direct your driver to the building number I provided. If every single Uber Eats driver, Amazon driver, Door Dash driver, Fed Ex driver, UPS driver can figure it out, surely your driver can too. And if not, why no call or text? I would be happy to provide additional directions, if the driver was having trouble. A no-show is poor business. A no-show with no notification is even worse. If you couldn't make it, a simple call or text would have been fine and I would not have been upset. Inconvenienced yes, but not upset. The fact that I had to initiate not one but two calls SIX AND A HALF HOURS after my scheduled appointment coupled with the audacity that you have to lie and slander me is why you have this one-star review. Do better.

Current hours: Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 7pm Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm Sunday, 11am to 6pm Inside is bright, spacious, and beautifully organized! I love how the entire boutique is wonderfully furnished and cleverly decorated in awesome LEGO themes, it makes the place feel so inviting, happy, and playful! I wanted to see what books are available, and they have an amazing genre selection for sci fi & fantasy, history, magic & mythology, science & tech, self development, social science, reference, suspense & thrillers, crime & mystery, young adult, romance, and classics. They also have cool books for cooking, mixology, brewing, humour, gaming (like Dungeons & Dragons), plus a used books section. In the far back corner is a super cute children's area. I'm impressed! Buffy's Book Boutique is no ordinary bookshop and offers so much more. They sell various cute merchandise like magnetic bookmarks, tote bags, and stickers. There's snack bins for potato chips! There's a Buffy's Book Club too! They meet every month, and you can find the schedule on their website. They even host fun events like a Book Bedazzling class! There's one coming up on September 5, 2026 at 5pm to 8pm. It's $20, and they provide all the supplies. Also, they're the only bookstore that offers Coptic Bookbinding. Pricing is $30. I noticed an upcoming workshop for Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 3pm to 7pm. This is a great class for people who have attended a workshop before or consider themselves crafty. I checked the availability and found out that the class is full, and they fill up fast! They do offer it every weekend, so you definitely want to book ahead. Just a note, they're having a release party for the new Sarah J. Maas book, celebrating A Court of Thorns And Roses Book 6, coming on October 26, 2026 at 8pm to 10pm. Ticket price is $15, or $45 for the book and event entry. Overall, this was an exciting and pleasant visit! The staff here is very kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and helpful!

I came here exclusively to try to find some flatware, and I was pleasantly surprised that they had some cool pieces. Their prices are thrift store prices probably cheaper than Savers or Goodwill, plus they were giving a small discount for new customers that day. If you're in Vegas area and I want to scavenger hunt for some unique items I highly recommend coming to YSL.
