Horrible place to go, I went for my eyebrows and it was first of all $18. The lady who did my thread felt like it was her first time doing eyebrow threading. The lack of professionalism and customer service is non existent and deplorable at best. They state "the team strives to provide top of the line services" which is laughable. Need an overhaul and better training at front desk ASAP! Lost returning customer and new referrals. Manager on site does not return call, not solution oriented. Update- Did not want to do a follow-up post, BUT when the owner of the establishment's practice is to customer blame, I am left no choice. 1st, customary practice is to investigate prior to posting an initial generic response. 2nd, how you arrived to the conclusion in your post without discussing with the former client (me) the incidents, when I am STILL awaiting a call back from Walter, manager at Farmingdale location as of Sat. 4/15/23. Is completely preposterous! Here is a timeline with various incidences that transpired. 4/11 Called to schedule appts for services eyebrow threading for new customer & natural full set silk lashes for myself. Front desk rep "easier to schedule both appts under 1 name". 4/14 I called salon to confirm appts & explained that i did not feel comfortable adding credit card info on app. I am a returning customer & pay in cash. Response "ok, not a problem". I shortly received a txt confirming appts. 4/15 I received a call & spoke with Maria  requesting I confirm the appts for the next day. I explained to Maria this was already addressed earlier in the wk & already received a confirmation txt on 4/14.  Maria says i need to confirm by putting credit card info on app. I inform her i am a returning customer & did not confirm via app on previous visits. Maria proceeds to say that is "never done". I explain Yes, concessions were made previously with prior visits & with other patrons.  I informed Maria that she is receiving verbal confirmation in real-time, just like when one confirms a doctor's appt or reservation at a restaurant & again reminded her that I received confirmation txt. Maria response "so you're cancelling ur appts". My response, No,  I'm confirming once again. She says no if you don't put info you're cancelling ur appt.  I asked if a notation may be made on appt, can one override program, put it in as a "walk-in". Maria responded "No & we don't do walk-ins". I then tell Maria, "you're telling me a returning customer, who is coming in with a NEW client, in which appts were already confirmed, pays for services in cash, are encouraging me to take my business elsewhere because u refuse to honor appts. Maria proceeded to put me on hold to then inform me that "I can come in at scheduled appt times but services may not be provided or available when I arrive".  I explained if that is the case then my appts can be confirmed, because it does not make sense, i am not going to waste my time & gas because ur establishment refuses to confirm & provide services. My time & money is just as valuable as Walter's, so to be clear you're cancelling the appts and do not want my business. Maria says "well that's what it is". I tell Maria that there are plenty of other Lash beauty bars that provide services, accept verbal confirmations and DO NOT mind getting paid in cash. So, my "appointments were NEVER cancelled by your automated system overnight" as stated in ur response. I called back and spoke with another rep- Madison shortly after speaking with Maria, I explained the situation,  she stated she does not have access to override system. I requested to speak with Walter, she explained he was with a client & will deliver message for him to return my call. Never heard from Walter.  This is not how u run a business especially if "the team strives to provide top of line services".  The lack of professionalism seems to be this establishment's view as "good practice".  The issues with customer service apparently does not end at the front desk. The consistent lack of execution & solution focus efforts shows the poor customer care. The attitude & belief that customer service only applies when a patron is in someone's chair for services displays the need for an overhaul in staff, rapid training in basic customer service & interpersonal relationships.
