I initially reached out to speak with the manager/owner regarding an issue my mother experienced while scheduling an appointment. I was told by Nicole that the owner, Sheryl was finishing with a client and would call me back around 3:00 PM. That call never came. I followed up at 4:00 PM and was then told the owner had already left for the day but would call me once she got home. Again, no call was received. The original concern was regarding my mother's appointment. As a Mother's Day gift, I purchased her a Groupon for highlights so she could treat herself and enjoy the experience. She successfully booked an appointment for next Saturday at 11:00 AM and later received a call at 5:53 PM that same day asking whether she would be paying full price or using Groupon. Once she confirmed it was a Groupon appointment, the tone of the conversation noticeably changed and she was told she would now need to wait an additional 2-3 weeks because that stylist "doesn't take Groupons." We were then told this policy is outlined in Groupon fine print and that Groupon appointments must be scheduled weeks out. However, I reviewed the Groupon details thoroughly and could not find any language stating that only certain stylists accept Groupon appointments or that there is a required waiting period. My concern isn't simply availability, it's the inconsistency and lack of transparency. If restrictions exist for Groupon customers, they should be clearly disclosed before appointments are booked, not after confirmation. It was disappointing that something purchased as a Mother's Day gift ended up becoming stressful and left us feeling like the appointment became an issue only once the payment method was disclosed. I was hoping to resolve this directly before leaving a review, but after multiple promises of a callback that never happened, I felt it was important to share our experience.

One of the best things about it is that my favorite features (freckles and lashes) were barely touched up at all.. obsessed!! I was scheduled with Victoria for a blowout - she was very friendly and easy to talk too, and most importantly, she listened to what I wanted! I initially wanted to try a blowout with curls, but let her know I usually opt for straight hair, so I may or may not like the curls despite my request to try something different. After curling my hair, which originally looked great, unfortunately the style itself was just not for me. She was very easy to provide feedback too and let me know her main priority was that I walked out happy. We worked together until the style was right, and I walked out loving my hair!!

I took the online Madison Reed test and it said it's possible (no mention of highlights), so coming in I had high hopes. REMEMBER, All color is $97..After I talked with a stylist, she said it was impossible for me to dye my hair that light, and only half head highlights would be available. NOW the service is up to $192. ALSO the stylist was being confusing saying that she could change my "base" color AND add highlight. To both me and my mom, this meant lightening my hair. The actual service was fine.. until the end where I had to style my own hair myself. (Btw if you have curly hair, the products dried my hair out.. I frlt like I was touching tree bark) When I was using their trashy products, I thought my hair had ZERO change. It still looked black. I didn't even finish doing my own hair before walking over to my mom and complaining. My mom also agreed that there was almost ZERO change. Even after standing in the sun. I was visibly upset when the stylist came forward and asked what was wrong. I voiced my concerns about how it doesn't look any different, and that I'm not happy with the results. The stylist then said that it will develop and get lighter over time, and I just have to be patient (I call BS). I asked her to clarify and she just repeated her statement. Then she said that I would have to come in every 3-4 weeks for root touch ups and that also helps in it getting lighter over time. I got so upset I left when my mom paid. When I got home, I noticed that my highlights are completely uneven and patchy! Not to mention its GINGER. I asked for CHOCOLATE BROWN, not ginger! My head is starkly black with a random mixture of thin and thick ginger highlights. My middle part isn't even in the middle of my head. The total irony in this whole experience is that they have "Never comprise" on the wall infront of where I have to wash my hair. When all I did was comprise and get played. I purchased a keratin treatment coupon from Groupon for this spa based on its high ratings there…read more Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not checking Google reviews and trusted Groupon blindly. I have had keratin treatments multiple times, so I know how they should be done. My Groupon coupon was for $101, but the spa asked me to pay an additional $75, which I did. Surprisingly, they completed the treatment in just 30 minutes when a proper keratin treatment usually takes at least 2-3 hours. Still, I trusted their process. The real disappointment came after the first wash, 48 hours later my keratin completely washed out, and my hair returned to its original state. When I went back to the spa to address the issue, they refused to even check my hair and told me to contact Groupon instead. When I insisted that they were responsible for the poor treatment and requested a refund, they started bullying me, behaved in a racist manner, and told me to leave their property.
