I threw a party here for my 6-year-old and want to share some observations, the good with the not-so-good. let's start with the positive: Boomerang is super-well laid out, with tons of different play areas for the little ones. the private-party rooms are also neat, giving events a feeling of intimacy--where kids can run in and out of the party room and the play areas. I also really enjoyed how Boomerang customizes the party atmosphere with photos projected on the screen, although the practice of bringing a thumb drive is antiquated and should be updated to facilitate emailed or uploaded photos. What was odd for me is Boomerang's policy of "not bringing in outside food" when the staff apparently orders from outside sources like a pizza place. If that's the stated policy, how about giving guests the option of ordering from a specific place they favor? alternatively, having a number of "preferred vendors" might be a way to give party-throwers more of a choice. I got the impression, which was wrong, that Boomerang had some sort of in-house kitchen service, which I understand adds an added layer of complexity to any business. For our party, the pizza joint delivery was late and we had to wait for the food to arrive. The staff at Boomerang was really nice, and I felt bad for our room attendant who seemed overworked and stressed. I tipped her $40 to try and thank her for the effort. With some pointed areas of improvement, all-in-all I'm VERY glad we have Boomerang as a resource to work out "the wiggles" of our kids. read more

As a parent of a most energetic little one, my husband and I are always looking for fun stuff for him to do. Since his birthday was coming up, we decided to take him to Boomerang to celebrate and figured we would go early on a Sunday morning in hopes that it wouldn't be too crowded. Ohhhhh how wrong we were.... Located just off Amsterdam (near Piedmont Park), we arrived 7 minutes after they opened and the parking lot was absolutely full of kids and parents and I immediately thought maybe this was a bad idea. Luckily there is plenty of free parking so after searching for a bit, we were able to find a spot and walked up for our adventure. When we walked, in the line was wrapped around the area where you place your belongings. We placed our shoes in the cubbies and there was a nice young man going to those of us waiting in line holding an iPad asking if we had completed the waiver that necessary to play. He also let us know that he could assist us with completing the waiver on the iPad he had or he gave further direction regarding using the QR code posted on the wall near the entrance area. The line moved pretty quickly and we paid. The young girl at the front seemed a little all over the place with so many people but she was kind while interacting with my husband and let us know she would need to stamp all of our hands in the event we wanted to leave and come back since admission (I think $16 per child and the accompanying adult is free but any other adult with that child is $6) allows you to leave and come back if needed. I liked that there was a gate to both the entrance and exit of the play area which seemed to be good for keeping little wayward children from bolting out the building. This place was soooo much fun and my 4 year old had an absolute blast. There were several different areas for the kiddos to play with...an inflatable slide, a light up dance floor, an obstacle course, ball pit, huge interactive game screen, and an area for toddlers. I was able to snag a spot near the dance floor in the middle of the play area so I was able to keep an eye on him and allow him the opportunity to just run around and be a kiddo. I liked that someone was doing a sweep of the area s and cleaning every 30 mins or so. They do not have tons of food options but you are able to purchase snacks and drinks while there but no outside food is allowed. Overall a wonderful first visit and we will definitely be back! read more

I threw my 2 year old's birthday party here and honestly didn't have a great experience. The party was overpriced and the options were limited. I paid to have a character impersonator attend the party and had to pay an additional entry fee for that person. They played the wrong song for my child's intro and when I notified our rep, the manager made excuses rather than just apologize. We were paired with an inexperienced party rep who couldn't answer any of my questions and we had to ask for all of the items that were supposed to be included with our reservation because they weren't in the room at the time of the party. The party room is only reserved for an hour. They rushed us and didn't account for the time wasted on the errors caused by them. Definitely wouldn't book this place for another party but if you're looking for a toddler-accessible indoor playground, this place isn't bad. read more

We went to an awesome 3rd birthday party here and there was something for everyone. Our family had a blast! The brand new 2yo, almost 4yo, 11yo, and brand new 13yo all had a blast...and, honestly, so did I. There were attractions of different sizes, so there was no need to fear the tiny ones being run over by larger children. And um, I found the trampoline empty a few times and got in there myself. There are enough activity areas to keep all engaged. In terms of the birthday set-up, the party rooms were spacious and the staff was moving around helping with set-up and breakdown. I brought my daughter here on her first birthday and we had a blast! I loved the open floor concept and also that small toddlers had their own area to crawl and play in. We went on a Friday evening and it was not crowded. Check in was quick and the staff was friendly. They have a dance floor that lights up and during our visit they had a dance break with bubbles and all the kids really enjoyed that. Not much at the snack bar for young kids so bring snacks for the little one. We will definitely frequent this indoor playground this summer! read more

I was in Atlanta to visit for my granddaughter's graduation and decided to take the kids here for after festivities. For it to be a children's play zone the welcome when you walk in doesn't seem very "welcoming." You're asked to sign waivers then pay. Everyone must remove their shoes and wear socks even adults who don't intend to be in the play areas have to buy socks. Which was understandable for sanitary reasons, however I was told "but we're out of socks, we're out of everything" I was told I can try to squeeze into a kids pair, and since my feet were small I did the best I could with what I had. The play area is small but cute. The kids enjoyed which was the goal. Besides them wanting to make cotton candy at a machine they have that we were told was turned off for the day because they generally turn it off an hour before closing. It was just almost 4:30 at the time. They close at 6. When asked about the reasoning, I was told I don't know, my manager did it by the same young lady who was working the front area when we arrived. Overall, I wasn't wowed. And I've had much better service. With plenty of other places to take kids in Atlanta, I'd probably not run back here when in town. read more

The kids always have a blast and need to be pulled away from all the fun to go home! Love the range of activities for different ages, the bubble dance parties, digital motion floors and screens. Perfect place for a play date. They stamp kids and parents with invisible matching stamps. There's a snack bar and sandals for the restrooms. Perfect for the littles. The downfall is... This place is EXTREMELY dirty!! The floors have spills, buildup and the worst out of all the soft play places I've been to. I won't be returning. I saw someone in charge here today giving a couple a tour and I would never spend my money here again. A good mop once a week would help especially being a shoeless place. If it's shoeless why allow strollers on the floor????? This place needs to be deep cleaned once a month. The employees should not be in there spot cleaning mess that is already buildup!! Nice size place for kids to do kids things. Toddler friendly and affordable . I went on a Tuesday around 4pm and it was very empty which was a plus for us . My son is 13 months (1yr) and he is learning how to walk. This was perfect for him to get his walk and roll on. Very clean in the inside and the customer service was great . Small parking lot. The only downsize is the ramp for strollers is on the opposite end of the building. I needed those steps so it was okay . We will visit again . read more

Let me start off by saying toddlers do not feel the time going by at all when they're playing and having fun. We spent 3.5 hours and these kids still did not want to leave. We were meeting up with some friends of ours. No shoes in the play zone. Ample space/storage for shoes and belongings. Optional Lockers are available. Boomerang has several sizable play areas, with different kinds of activities. Indoor play is absolutely excellent for rainy days or freezing cold days. Theres a mini snack scene at the 'check in' counter. There are few toddler tables to eat your snacks. We had popsicles, gummies, paw patrol drinks and veggie chips. They have party room that you can reserve. There are package prices you can book. Nice dance floor that lights up. Projector screen to showcase any custom photos of the birthday kid. There's a selection of music that's played while the power point slides of the photos are displayed. I'd say when one table area is vacant, that should be a good time for a staffer to clean the tables, chair, and floors bc kids will always leave a mess. So more attention there would be nice. I had to clean the crumbs off the table that a precious family left. Overall, The staff seems to try to keep the place tidy. Emanji (I hope I spelled that right) - the New Yorker, cool dude, was seen vacuuming the floors. He delivered great appreciated customer service to my family and I at the check in desk. We were in town from Florida, visiting some friends in GA. It was our 1st time at boomerang and it won't be our last ! What matter most is the kids loved it, had a blast, and thoroughly enjoyed the place - so we'd highly recommended. read more

We've been a member of Boomerang since around the time they opened on Amsterdam, and I hadn't been with my son in awhile (he's there often with our nanny). It's really fun and entertaining for kids, especially on a cold, rainy or super hot day. BUT, it's become disgusting. When they first opened, we joined because I was so impressed with how clean everything was. Now, it's absolutely disgusting. My son dropped a piece of food on the floor when I was last there, and when I picked it up with a wet wipe, the wipe was dark grey/black with filth. My son's socks are consistently black when he comes home. There's dust and hair all throughout the play space. The bathroom is repulsive. I've seen gas station bathrooms much cleaner than this. The list goes on. The staff is wonderful, but given that the memberships and play passes aren't cheap, I expect them to offer a cleaner environment for children. Plus, there are so many illnesses going around Atlanta, they need to do your part to clean. It's basic business with kids. Hopefully they turn it around soon. If so, I'll update the review to 5 stars. read more

I was there for a birthday party and to my surprise as a business owner who has a cleaning service they make you take your shoes off to play on those already dirty mats/floors. I started to go ask the manager if I could come in after hours to clean everything for them for free that's how bad they looked to me and throw in disinfecting everything touched and wipe down stuff. With everything going on with Covid and that new strain they really could use some type of cleaning protocol with all these kids coming and going.I have one suggestion for the establishment.i didn't see any hand sanitizers anywhere so make sure you have stand alone hand sanitizers at the front desk for everyone entering the gate area before they can enter they have to put some on their hands and the kiddos hands. read more

Took my one year old son there today! Had so much fun. Staff was so nice & kept the place clean (even throughout the time we were there). Tons of stuff to do for kids of all ages! If your child gets overstimulated quickly or doesn't do well with crowds, I recommend midday play. Either way, great for play dates or solo fun! read more

I've worked with families and children most my life. I am usually critical of many places that seem chaotic and not clean. I recently took my granddaughter to Boomerang on Amsterdam. I was completely delighted with our time there. The check-in staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Alvin, who is either the manager or owner, was so gracious and busy genuinely connecting with everyone there, making sure everyone was having a good time or doing their job. We come here fairly often because the kids absolutely LOVE it. Feeling compelled to write a review today because they had some last-minute staff cancellations and the guy that was running the place did the most amazing job. I would have lost my mind and run out the door, but he managed the check-in area like a total pro and was as pleasant as could be during the process.
