I am absolutely appalled by the way my 3-year-old daughter and her friends were treated at this center. You would think a place designed specifically for children would understand how toddlers play, but the owner clearly does not. While the kids were playing, the owner actually approached them and told them to stop playing with a toy castle. Her reasoning? They were "opening and closing the castle door too much." It is completely ridiculous to police how toddlers interact with toys in a facility that parents pay for specifically so their kids can play. Secondly the place was cluttered. There were toys and junk everywhere. On top of that, the owner reprimanded us because the kids went in and out of the carpeted area "too many times." The entire environment felt hostile. The owner literally hovered over us the entire time we were there, making us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. A children's play center should be a fun, stress-free environment for families, not a place where toddlers are monitored like they're walking a tightrope. We will absolutely never be back. Save your money and take your kids somewhere where they are actually allowed to be kids. read more

This was my second time visiting with my little guy and today's visit was even better than the first! We came the first time for a birthday party back in 2020 just before the pandemic came and I remember thinking how cool this place was for kids. So while my little one is on winter break from his daycare, I figured we could go visit to get him out the house and let him use up some of that energy from being in the house the past few days. I checked out their website to look for information about their hours and was directed to call or text for the most up-to-date info. I sent a text this morning and received a response within 3 minutes with a listing of the days and times that they are open this week....so I was already giving a thumbs up for customer service before we even arrived. I figured we could go right when they opened and figured there wouldn't be too many kiddos their and I was right! We got their about 5 minutes after they opened and walking in, I was reminded of how many toys and things they have for the kiddos as soon as we walked in. Note - there is plenty of free parking as the playhouse is in a strip mall with a post office, Planet Fitness, and a few other businesses but there was no issue finding a spot nearby. The young lady who assisted us when we arrived greeted us as soon as we walked in and was pretty friendly, let us know that we could go ahead and take our shoes off (socks are required), and took payment - it's $12 for a 90 play session which I think is pretty awesome. We place our belongings in the cubby holes and made out way through the gate (which I much appreciated as it kept kiddos from getting out the play area). My little dinosaur couldn't wait and was super excited so he took off as soon as he received his wristband. There was so much to do! I could tell they've made a few changes since our last visit and there is something for everyone! There's a cute little driving track in the back with a bunch of ride-on cars, play kitchens, a bouncy house, an area for the tiny ones (0 to 18 months), lots of toys, blocks, huge connect four game...I mean there's a lot. I appreciated that all the adults had on masks and I made sure that my little guy has his on but there were lots of sanitizing areas and a few buckets that you could drop dirty toys in. I did wish that a few of the toys were a bit cleaner but it could have just been that they were older but overall I felt this was a safe space in the midst of all things going on with COVID. The kiddos had fun, but I question the sanitation as I saw two girls 'clearing away' toys and putting them away without at least wiping with a disinfectant wipe. Kids are magnets for germs and viruses! Two days after visiting, my granddaughters got sick and I contracted COVID and strep throat! Was it related? Not sure, but it was coincidental. read more

We reserved a private session for my daughter and her cousins - it was my daughter's 2nd birthday. She loves any kind of play time and this room was full of it and it was an undoubtedly inspiring space. After seeing my daughter's reaction to one of the climbers, I decided to purchase one for our home. I was so glad to be able to witness her playing with items she didn't have and explore them and build her creativity muscles. This room was easy to book and prices were more than reasonable for the time spent. Some toys could use a little TLC but for the most part it didn't matter because the kids had a great time and that's all that really matters. There is a party space in the facility as well - we didn't use but good to know ... Definitely recommend trying this playhouse! read more

I cannot say enough about this place. Buddy's Indoor Playhouse is one of the only truly toddler friendly play and party areas in Atlanta. All the items for play are toddler sized and age appropriate. The venue is specifically made for kids 6 and under. If you have a toddler, you understand that most other places have a small poorly monitored toddler area, and you constantly worry about middle school aged kids running over your littles. That's not the case here. In addition, you can stand in the middle of the walk way with perfect visibility of the whole venue which is perfect for watching your kids. We had my son's 2nd birthday party there this weekend and from start to finish Savannah and her staff were so accommodating and helpful. We were allowed complete customization of his party. The array of themes that Savannah and her staff can execute is amazing. We aren't talking dollar store bare minimum either! They provide backdrops, gift bags, cake stands, themed plates, and dessert table decor. You literally only have to show up with food or order the pizza they provide (so excited to hear they will be acquiring a cafeteria soon)...and almost no other venues offer that in their packages. They helped us set up and breakdown, cut the cake, pass out party favors and gift bags, and even gave us the extra unused wristband from the package to use for a play date in the future! I'm so impressed with this place and would recommend it to anyone who has a child under 7 for a birthday party or simply just a play date or activity. read more

TLDR- this place might come through in a pinch as a decent place for kids 3 and under; however; it's overcrowded with large things but missing the accessories, it's not clean (literally old fast food containers on the front counter). I won't be back any time soon. We took my sons, almost 5 and 1 1/2, here on a cool rainy day. Of course, other parents had the same idea and the place was packed; however, most of the other kids there were at a party. This kiddy place is a solid 3 stars. It's a nice effort to have a smaller, homegrown alternative to the big kiddy places like Hippo Hop, etc. but misses the mark for a few reasons. 1) it is overcrowded with stuff, but not necessarily interesting play things. While they had different toys like kitchens, grills, an animal hospital, a grocery store, dinosaurs, riding cars, trikes, etc., most of those things did not have any accessories. The kiddy outdoor grill was cute but my son wanted to pretend like he was cooking food and there was no food and no grilling utensils like spatulas. There were a few food items in one kitchen area but not another. You get my point. Out of the things that are supposed to light up or make noise, I only came across one thing that actually had batteries. They have a small bouncy house, I mean, really small but yet too big for the amount of space they have. That area would've been better utilized to spread all of their things out or for more toys. 2) My youngest son was actually 19 mos when we went so right over the 18 mos. cutoff to go inside of the gated area for babies. That was honestly the most interesting looking area and he would've had so much fun in there. There was either one baby or no babies in the area while we were there. If he's going to be charged, there should be more things outside of that area to interest a 19 mos old to 2 year old. He did enjoy riding this in some of the cars while my husband pushed him and climbed up/down small playhouses a couple of times. 3) my biggest concern is that the place did not look clean. When you walk in and look to your right, there's an area that maybe used to have prizes, but is now a cluttered pile of junk. Literally, there were fast food containers and pizza boxes on the counter. All of the toys and toy structures looked like they needed a good cleaning. The should take lessons from daycare in how to properly clean. This was a busy Saturday and there were two people working, one at the front area signing people in and one other (the owner maybe?) helping setup the party and walking around. I'm sure that doesn't leave much time for periodic cleaning. I will say, my four year old had fun but only because he loves racing and spent most of our time there driving the cars and motorcycles around the small little track that they have. This place is by far the best I've found for kids 5 and under to play uninterrupted in the Atlanta area. It's clean and safe. All toys are at their eye level. We had our son 2 yr party there and Ms Savannah made it hands off where we just showed up. The service was and is always top notch. My guests raved about it and promised to visit again. One guest is going to have their daughter's party there too. By the way my 8yr old and his friends had lots of fun there too. One downside there were a lot of crying toddlers when it was time to go. This is a fantastic place to bring babies, toddlers, and young children when you're looking to mix it up! My two daughters were impressed with the toy offerings that are set up in different zones - a home section, a grocery store, a backyard barbecue, a construction zone, a road course with cars, etc. I also really appreciated the large section for 0-24 months that is gated off to disallow older children from disrupting the babies. The owner was very kind and checked in to make sure we were having a good time and the facility was very clean. The prices are not unreasonable, especially when you think of how much all of the toys, slides, etc. cost. Overall, a fun place to spend a morning! This is a wonderful place for LITTLE kids. Made me wonder why are there not more businesses like this? So many kid-centric businesses cater to older kids, and this one is just the opposite. Up to age 7 is allowed, but I can see ages 1-5 benefitting the most. There is a sweet little gated area with tons of mats, toys, slides, and a swing for infants up to 24 months. My 16-month old grandson had a great time in that area, as well as out in the larger area where there are playhouses, slides, a store with shopping carts to push, and a "road" with riding toys. There's an area with big legos and dinosaurs. There is also a small jump house. I can picture birthday parties here being a blast! Very clean, with kids' music playing overhead. The owner was very nice and eager to please! The building was a bit warm after chasing around a toddler, and it could have just been me but worth mentioning. It was quiet during the week, so mamas if you're looking for a place to entertain your little one(s) for $10 each, this is where you need to go! We love Buddy's! We go there all the time and my son will play for hours straight. No other place entertains him as long as Buddy's. We also had his second birthday there and it was a huge hit. The owners will go above and beyond to accommodate your theme and your guests. We had to add guests the day of and they could not have been nicer about it. The older Indian woman very rude, just because my son was 1-2 months older than the age limit for baby area she went to go look at his age came to me and told me to remove my son from there immediately and he had two little cars with him and she wanted to take them away he started crying so much because he wanted the little cars. She didn't even give us a chance to slowly taking away without him crying. Then we had to leave because he was too upset and didn't even want to play anymore. We love this place!! It is clean, inexpensive and a nice place to take your kids for a good time. The owner is very nice and personable and so is her staff. You can go and just pay for unlimited time to play at 10 bucks or you can have an event there. They offer full parties with very nice decorations not cheesy cheap looking stuff. The facility is very clean and well kept. The last thing you want to bring your child to a dirty old play place. This is a local hidden gem in Smyrna. We will continue to come here and have playdates here with friends. My has been coming here since he was 10 months old and loves the baby area. It is perfect. This place is amazing! It is designed for little people under the age of 6. There is an area for crawlers, toddlers, and kindergarteners. There is a dress up area, building blocks with tools area. There is also a little bounce house with swing set. There is an roadway for little cars with a tiny gas station. It's a little city for small kids. It's clean and staff are amazing. Let me preface this by saying for my 2 and 1 year old this was a great place. Plenty of toys and things to do, I was told that they only allow children up to 6 years of age- but the third time I went in I swear I saw like two kids over that age but it wasn't a huge deal. It's best to go during the day on a weekday, when it's busy it's not as good. Seems to be owned by a family, and they have been super sweet each time I come in. My complaint today is the security there. I saw sssooooo many parents leaving, including myself, and the wristbands (which you have to get a coordinating one with your child) is never checked. I haven't seen them do it once and it is literally in a shopping center next to a gym and a post office. So many people walking in and out and it makes me super nervous to leave and watch one child while the other is playing. Just something to be aware of. read more

I attended my godson's 1st birthday party at Buddy's this weekend. This place is AMAZING. His party had the Lion King theme and the staff went over and beyond to create a beautiful setup. The staff/owner was consistently checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly and with a smile. It made me happy to see my godson and his mom happy, and I know a huge part of that was Buddy's team. It is clean, has lots of fun things to do for multiple ages and it is fairly small with only one way out so you feel comfortable sitting down for a little and letting your little one play. Perfect place to host a child's birthday party in Atlanta! We hosted our son's 1st birthday at Buddy's and had an amazing experience. We wanted to find a location that was suitable for a variety of ages (1 yo - 8 yo) based on our guest list and we loved that the facility had a variety of age appropriate sections. The staff (Ms Savannah and Ms Felicia) were easy to work with and the facility is very clean. The party room worked out perfectly for all of our guests. This place is amazing! It's only $10 to play as long as you'd like, and there are so many things to do! There's something for any age- babies through 6 years or so. My favorite part is that it seems very clean! There are tons of ride-on toys complete with a road throughout the place, gas pumps, and street signs. There is a small bounce house, dress up area, castle, grocery store, you name it! The baby area is large with lots of options too. The owner and staff are so nice & seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us. On Mondays it's only $7.99 to get in & on Fridays they have story/music time.
