I came here for something quick to eat and I have a couple drinks on a Tuesday evening. It wasn't bad. I sat at the bar, got fairly good service and ordered a Montecristo sandwich. I hadn't had one in quite a while and it was tasty. I do wish it would've came with more raspberry jelly for dipping! The sandwich and a bottle of beer cost me right at about $15. I was hoping there would be some single women hanging out. Unfortunately it was nearly all men and women that were there were with guys! I believe I saw one set of girls that were there that stayed to themselves, had a few drinks and then left. I'm not sure this is the best place to meet women on a Tuesday night! I really enjoy Boomerjacks as a non-Texan so my husband will take me to the different BoomerJack's by our house but i have noticed that every location serves weak drinks. They have great deals but the drinks are juice. The Buffalo boneless wings are my favorite on the menu and the atmosphere on Cowboy game nights is amazing. We will continue to visit different locations i just hope they balance the drinks better. My wife and I had had a busy day running errands and sopping. We were not in the mood to cook and she wanted potato skins. She absolutely loves Boomer Jack's skins so that's where we were headed. I wanted some catfish. At Jack's both of our "wants" could be filled. We were seated immediately and our server took our drink orders. Ordering was simple since we both knew what we wanted. I ordered my fried catfish with onion rings. After a shot wait, our entrees were delivered. My wife smiled as she dove into her potato skins. My catfish entree included two huge catfish fillets. My daughter and I went in on yesterday for lunch and were sat out on the patio as we requested. We sat there for about 10-15 minutes before the waitress came over. Her name is Stacy and her customer service is by far the worst. This is my second time that I have had her as a waitress. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as the first time was even longer and horrible as well. I saw her interacting with the other tables quite frequently both incidences as they were not people of color so I felt discriminated against the second time around as it appeared apparent. She never came back to check on us after food was brought to table by others both times. On yesterday's incident, Stacy put in the wrong soup that my daughter ordered and when the gentleman brought it to our table in which he appeared to a manager, my daughter advised him that that is not what she originally ordered and requested the one she had told Stacy and he said ok and never returned. I always come to this boomerjacks as it is one of my go to places but I don't think so anymore. I felt discriminated against by Stacy as it appears that she does not provide customer service or anything for that matter for people of color. read more

We used to frequent this place in 2013 but this was my first time back since then. The lady bartender on Saturday night (06.16.18) was awesome! Quick service and she was kind when we weren't satisfied with our food. First, our chips and queso came out with soggy chips that had salsa spilled on them. Some chips were dry already so the salsa probably spilled in the back into the bag of chips or something. Our queso was overly oily. My hangover skillet came next. What a mess! The fries were cooked in old oil and were practically black. Not a taste of the garlic either. The egg was overcooked. The brisket was the only good thing. I did request another egg but still couldn't stomach the black oily undercooked fries. Our bartender had no problem getting me this egg and apologized for it not being right at first. I had ordered my food just prior to them announcing that the kitchen was closing soon. At this same point, it seems like the ac was cranked up. It suddenly was hitting us so hard, we had to move from the bar to the patio because we were so cold that I was shivering . Our bartender assisted us with a understanding smile. The manager was very helpful after we waited 40 minutes for anyone to serve us. It's a great menu with a lot of potential but the food was not good, sour lettuce, undercooked onion rings and our waitress was not interested in serving us at all. My wife's chop was inedible for her (no flavor) and my 2yr old picked all the "corn" off the dogs! Our server was so slow. We had to call/catch the hostess twice. The manager on the floor who, apparently, thinks he's Bryce Harper (haircut, SUPER tight Polo shirt) doesn't make eye contact with customers the few times he did walk around. She never brought plates for the appetizers of 4ppl. And I had two empty glasses for at least 15 min & she was invisible when I wanted another beer.. So... In summation... Back for our second visit, and we are not disappointed. We brought our pup this time since we were happy to see they were dog friendly. The patio is enclosed and has fans to keep you comfortable, even when it is 100*! The server brought us our drinks and a fresh bowl of water and a small bowl of whipped cream for our pup. Not impressed whatsoever about this place. I'd say go to Burger King to have it your way, rather than waste time and money here. For starters, our group of 8 received really poor service. I get that big groups bigger than 4 aren't easy and I can understand that, but our service was total garbage. First, me and my significant other were the first to receive what we ordered, but the problem was, we received our entree before our appetizer. After we received our entree, about 10 minutes later, we received our appetizer which was awkward. Since the remaining 6 members of our party did NOT receive their food, we went ahead and shared our appetizer with them. It was about another 15 minutes till everyone else started receiving their food, which at this point, me and my partner were about done with our food. As the remaining entrees came out, one order was messed up entirely. They had brought out one person in our party the side they ordered for their entree, but where was the rest? I thought it was custom for the server to come by after food has come out to check up if everything was good. I thought wrong! I kept turning around to see where our server was and after about 15 minutes passed, I was annoyed of waiting. I did what any annoyed customer would do and got up and asked the server to come over, since one person in our party didn't receive her full meal. After I approached her with my annoyance for this place and its service, our server began coming back more periodically. I thought that was custom in a restaurant, but again, I thought wrong! Big fan of this location!!! Let's start off with my first love, queso. They have some of the best damn queso around. I have no idea why, because it's hella random, but it's basically my new addiction. I told my mom I wanted queso and she said they have good queso so I headed this way with her. My life has changed! They offer a $22 for one appetizer and some handpicked entrees. We got the queso, taco salad, and applewood burger. The burger was freaking delicious! Pretty sure that bacon came straight from heaven itself. The taco salad was so-so. You can't beat their drink prices though. We came and watched a few games and had a great time. Bartender was awesome, bathrooms were nice and clean, and food was definitely up there in terms of bar food. We will be coming back for more NFL and MLB games! read more

So.. a few tips.. bring out the salad first, not with the meal. Bring the food on CLEAN plates, and most importantly BRING THE CORRECT CHANGE! Waitress short changed me by TEN DOLLARS (and 60 cents) !! Was she tipping herself? Food was NOT worth the money, wait staff was sub par.. they walked to every table with food in their hands asking if it was what we ordered.. it seems like a small task to number the tables so that our food is not walked around to numerous people before we get it. So let me start by pointing out that we only visit here on Tuesdays, and usually for a late lunch. The sole reason why we come to this Boomers is because we always bring our dog with us. So the three star review is based off "dog friendliness" more so than food quality. The food here isn't extraordinary, but it's decent and at a good price (just like most chains). They do a great queso dip and I think their strongest suit food wise are their burgers. The skillet dishes are pretty plain though. But they have a full bar and drink specials daily to help counteract. Now, the outside patio seating is climate controlled and tvs cover the walls. They are super dog friendly and have a stack of water bowls waiting for the pups. While they don't have a side menu for dogs, you can order from your server "plain grilled carrots for a dog, no seasoning or butter" and they get it. We come during the week day afternoons because it really isn't overly busy and it presents a calm atmosphere for the puppers. The wait staff can take a bit of time to get to you however. And you will need to alert them that you are sitting outside. I've had some visits where the service was pretty good, but I've also had some equally disappointing and lacking attention. Overall, super easy place to bring your dog for a meal out in public for getting them used to socializing without the hassle of a super loud atmosphere and the distraction of other dogs. That may change on the weekends, not sure. But it works on week days. Expect laid back/chill servers and typical chain restaurant food. But again, prices are cheap and it's a good area for dogs. read more

Most enjoyable Boomerjack's I've been to thus far. It's not a place I frequent often, but we wanted to do lunch somewhere new. Surprisingly, they have a pretty decent gluten free menu. Wings, nachos, hamburgers (with a bun!!), sandwiches, salads. It's a nice selection! We decided to order the potato skins and the $0.69 wings (a Tuesday special). We chose Cajun style for the wings, with blue cheese and ranch. So delicious! Perfectly cooked and seasoned little saucy wings. The potato skins were thick and hearty, not just "skins" at all, which I appreciate. These are super hot, potato-y, and filling. I had some Woodchuck cider and Jon had a couple Negro Modelos. A couple cold drinks on a very warm, new spring day. This location has a covered patio with garage style doors that retract all the way up. Today we sat inside at the bar near the patio with it's open walks. The breeze was perfect. Our waitress was sweet. All is cool and comfortable at Boomerjack's. read more

Y'all! I ordered a salad from Boomerjacks (the cobb salad with salmon) the salmon was medium so it still was slightly pink inside so I kinda fan'd it out and determined I couldn't do it. So as I wait for someone I kinda ate the lettuce (I WAS HUNGRY)...finally she comes and I sent it back. I ordered the BLT and it was on stale bread. The pieces were not on full slices. I received the heal part of bread. Couldn't taste the pesto mayo. The bacon was crispy and good. The Bloody Mary's had an odd taste. Tried a Tito's BM then a lesser vodka; both odd tasting. Ordered Buffalo wings; lemon pepper and honey bbq. The lemon pepper cane out greasy with an odd taste. The bbq were just ok. My significant other ordered the brisket potatoe skins and they were barely reached eatable. Light on the brisket, light in the cheese.
