In an effort to conserve, I declined both since I used a credit card for the purchase. Less than 24 hours later I tried to exchange the book for another. The one I purchased was not quite appropriate for my granddaughter. I was told that since I didn't have the receipt I could only get the lowest price the book ever sold for. This was $5 less than I paid for it the previous day. If returns are so dependent on the receipt, your staff should advise customers when asking then if they would like a receipt. This experience has certainly changed my opinion of BAM and I will be more likely to visit Amazon or another venue in the future.

The shop itself is crowded and messy. He did not speak a word once we walked in, he was very rude when explaining how to look through his messy store, and there was a point where my buddy and I were looking through a long box while he was just standing in front of us watching. It was so uncomfortable, he even walked outside to watch us drive away.. I spent about an hour in this shop and had a decent pile of comics to purchase, but after receiving such terrible vibes from the owner, I decided to leave it all behind and not give a dime to this business. Usually I hate to give comic stores bad reviews as I hope to see all their businesses succeed, however.. this was the worst experience i've ever had! Don't waste your time in this messy store. It's impossible to walk through and the owner practically does not want you there!
