The shop itself is crowded and messy. I don't think a single comic in the whole store was bagged and boarded. On top of that none of the issues were priced until checking out so you have no idea what you're going to pay. Sure these are all bad factors but what really made me leave this review is the horrific attitude that the shop owner gave us. He did not speak a word once we walked in, he was very rude when explaining how to look through his messy store, and there was a point where my buddy and I were looking through a long box while he was just standing in front of us watching. It was so uncomfortable, he even walked outside to watch us drive away.. I spent about an hour in this shop and had a decent pile of comics to purchase, but after receiving such terrible vibes from the owner, I decided to leave it all behind and not give a dime to this business. Usually I hate to give comic stores bad reviews as I hope to see all their businesses succeed, however.. this was the worst experience i've ever had! Don't waste your time in this messy store. It's impossible to walk through and the owner practically does not want you there!

What's even crazier, is that during said events, you're never pressured to buy anything. How do they make a profit? I'm not sure either. But it seems like their business model is more along the lines of providing a space that makes people feel happy and welcome and then worrying about that finance stuff later. Seriously though, the place is super welcoming and patient with nerds of all types. Whether you're dipping your toes into nerd culture or want to dive in face first, they've had an answer and anecdote for nearly every geeky genre that has ever pique a nerd's interest. Highly recommend the D&D games though. They're super fun and very patient with beginner players and even welcome new walk-ins during the middle of campaigns.
