That should have been the first sign of how the rest of the night would go. We ordered the platter ($23), and the portion was surprisingly small: two BBQ meatballs, two mac and cheese bites, queso, and a tiny basket of chips. The food runner who dropped off the meals was rude, and the portion sizes overall were shockingly small for the price. The only dishes that felt worth ordering were the penne pasta and the pork chops. The short rib tasted great, but for $30, the portion was extremely underwhelming. When we ordered another round of drinks, mine was forgotten -- again, likely because nothing was written down. I had to let our server know it never arrived. And based on other reviews I've read, this seems to be a pattern: instead of genuinely trying to fix issues, they either apologize in a way that feels empty or blame the customer for their experience. So I'm sure they'll have something to say about this review too. Can't wait for the response. Do better. Also, be aware -- because they do NOT mention this -- that parties of six or more are automatically charged a 20% gratuity. With the level of service we received, it felt unfair. If you're going to charge high prices, the service needs to reflect that. It didn't. We won't be returning. And honestly, the 1‑star reviews are accurate. Just prepare yourself. $400 dinner for lack luster experience ‍
