Newest bar on the east side. Visited while we were in the area. A couple of drinks and tried some appetizers. Typical bar but has an open feel concept. Which is really nice for people who like patio dining/drinking. They have great specials offering for lunch. That would be something to keep in mind next time I'm in this area. Service is typical bar service, no frills, just all chill.

Cool little spot with good bites and a great patio. I would come back for the vibes but the menu is a bit lacking. Our server was really nice and friendly and we got food and drinks out really fast. Overall it's a cool location with a great concept. I would recommend to others.

Went with family for Sunday lunch. Kinda busy. I ordered Chicken and Waffle, taste great and mixed strawberry and basil cocktail, refreshing. Service is fast and friendly staff. Huge area for inside and outside dining. Spacious bar with televisions on top posted for customers to watch. Lots of parking. Great for children and family hangout and gatherings.

No doubt that Assembly Ice House will become a trendy hot spot in Plano (in my opinion) lol They just opened, and it was a thrill to see a place hit the ground running with good food, a full-service bar, and premium TVs showing the Dallas Cowboys lose in style (at least the ambiance softens the blow). Everything ordered in our group was delicious, fresh, and made to order. The menu is spectacular!! TIP: They take reservations!! There's a stage tucked in the corner (I suspect they will have live acts or maybe a DJ soon). If you know any performers looking for a gig, this would be a great place for them to inquire. The outdoor area offers that classic icehouse vibe, complete with a bar, TVs and a dog-friendly patio, perfect for kicking back when the weather's nice. It's got all the signs of success, a Plano favorite, especially since they own all of the venues in a row that makes the whole experience perfect: Assembly Icehouse, Tacoro and Cliff Coffee.

Friends told us about this hidden gem so on a nice afternoon we decided to check it out. We sat on the patio (all high top tables) and enjoyed playing a table-top game while perusing the menu. Our wait staff was really kind and did a great job keeping our water bottle filled, ice teas full and clearing away empty plates. We started with chips + queso which was enjoyed and when the chips ran out, they brought a refill. Our son enjoyed his Assembly Smashburger and was grateful for the double patty as they were thin! The bun was fresh and delicious and the french fries were tasty and well cooked. Our other son enjoyed the chicken and waffles, but ultimately wouldn't order it again. He said the waffle was okay, but the chicken was good and he'd rather just have the chicken next time. My husband liked the chicken sliders, but could have used more food. They were a good appetizer, but not filling enough for a meal. I enjoyed my Assembly Harvest Salad as a wrap. The portion of chicken was decent and the lettuce and other items were fresh. There was far too much dressing, but at least it tasted good! I would get this again, but just ask for the dressing on the side. ---- For a new place they are doing a great job. Our waitress said the menu has been tweaked multiple times, which is a great sign of a good chef willing to make changes as they are needed for a new restaurant. For ex: the Harvest Salad does not list cheese as an ingredient. I even asked when ordering it, BUT the chef did in fact include blue cheese/feta in the wrap. I had to send it back and both the waitress and chef apologized it wasn't listed on the menu, and would correct it. I think this place is going to be popular and attract all types of people. The large TVs and patio are dog friendly and kid friendly. The proximity to a community park across the street and the new Cliff Coffee Shop will draw people as well.

I give them 5 stars just for cooking in TALLOW! So hard to find any place using tallow. But the ambiance is great and location is great. I don't know if parking might become an issue when more people know about this place and other shops open up in the same shopping center. The food is reasonably priced and good options to enjoy with your drinks. Hopefully they will add a HH menu. Service was also great. They checked up on us often.

Wow! We found this amazing icehouse in Plano!! Opened in November. It is a great big space and will accommodate groups!! Carlos, our bartender, took great care of us. Great atmosphere and great service. We didn't even know this was here!! Huge patio area. Plenty of TV's! A must see & check out! Our drinks were on point. Perfect & the pretzel was awesome!! We will be back!! Love this place!

So grateful to find this gem in Plano while it's still pretty much off the radar, I suspect it will be packed every day soon! We've been three times now. Every time has been a really good experience. First of all, it's a really nice, simplistic and spacious place. Lots of TVs for watching sports. A large, beautiful patio spans the north end of it, and the bar inside looks to seat about 34. Staff is friendly, including hostess, managers, ownership, servers, table bussers, and bartenders. One of our favorites is Kat. She makes really great cocktails, both those on the menu and those where you ask her to just play!! She can really sling some fine craft cocktails! She's also very kind, very attentive and has a delightful sense of humor. Let's talk food. We've tried several things! The spicy Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was good, but wasn't spicy - I think that part may have gotten forgotten. It's okay though, it was good as it was!! We also had the burger sliders, very good, didn't need mustard since the sauce that was on them was delicious. Being wing fanatics, we tried those too. Buffalo hot was good, looking forward to trying the lemon pepper next time, and to trying the other flavors they plan to add later on. They fry in beef tallow, which definitely makes everything tastes better!! Fries cooked more on the well done side are some of the best around (we like them a little extra crisp). The cheese curds were delightful, marinara and ranch with them were so good. But the best thing so far on the menu? The Truffle Spud Nuggets. Crispy on the outside, fluffy potato on the inside, a delicious aoli drizzled on and for dipping on the side. Those nuggets are one of my favorite foods EVER now!!! If I lived closer to Plano, I'd be in SO much trouble - I'd be there daily. Looking forward to the place opening next door to it as well, same ownership, and tacos and tequila!!!

We've been very excited to finally have a trendy, unique neighborhood bar and restaurant open up in East Plano, and Assembly Icehouse does not disappoint! We had the spicy Philly sandwich and the chicken and waffles, which were both delicious. Carlos's service at the bar was terrific and the rest of the place was alive and bustling. The vibe is wonderful, the space is open, and the music is great. Tons of TVs for game days. Can't wait to try Tacoro, the new taco place it's connected to, when it opens!

Service was excellent. The food? Good, but the cheesesteak sandwich was soggy. The venue was certainly great for families with kids.

Prices are all within a reasonable price. Price point is around $12-$20 dependent on choice of entrée. Beers are well priced as will, with certain days having specials at $4 pints. Usually, most bars are either too fancy or just ok. This place matches the perfect menu choices for the environment while not sacrificing quality and it shows the unknown chef/ cook working in the back is passionate and loves what he/she does by producing the dishes that come out of that kitchen. *Atmosphere of establishment is impeccable. The staff is always on top of cleaning, sanitizing areas when patrons leave. In the military, I knew when things were clean when I could smell bleach. Buckets of bleach water with clean rags are used to wipe down the bar tops. *Additional staff, constantly wipe down, remove rubber mats on the bar top, and sanitize multiple times while in our presence, demonstrating the utmost meticulous discipline on clean areas. Men's restrooms are known to smell at bars, however, at this location the restrooms are constantly checked on by staff and cleaned if needed. I have never gone to the restroom and not been able to wash hands due to no soap or dry hands, due to no paper towels. Bartenders (Traci and Kyla) and waitresses are friendly and respectful. The manager, Buddy is very friendly to my wife and I and now at this point, when he sees us walk in, he will ask if there is anything we want to see that isn't on the multiple TVs. If there is a San Antonio Spurs game, he will make it a point to put on the game, so we are able to enjoy my team. *This bar accommodates me in the manner I love having a draft beer dressed with chamoy and Tajin. The staff already just by seeing my wife and I knows our drink, and makes it a point to fulfill our expectation.

We had an amazing first experience at Dirty Birds and will absolutely be back!…read more My husband ordered the 20-piece wings and got four different flavors--mango habanero, dirty jerk, dry rub, Bruce Lee, Wang, and Dr Pepper BBQ (we had to try as many as possible ). Every single one was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had the chicken sandwich with mango habanero, pickles, and coleslaw (can't remember the name, but WOW--it was incredible). The balance of sweet, heat, and crunch was perfect. I ordered the mango habanero mixed sauces in the side and used them as a dipper just to control the heat just in case since it was my first time trying it. For drinks, I had the Crackberry cider and my husband had the Mango Cart--both were great choices. Our waitress, Aureli, was so sweet and attentive. And when her shift ended, Oryn (the bartender) took over seamlessly and made sure we were still taken care of--top-tier service all around. Oryn was the highlight of our visit. Just a solid, friendly and respectful dude with a great personality. The vibe is everything--90s R&B, chill atmosphere, sports on all the TVs. It's the perfect mix of sports bar energy with a laid-back, welcoming feel. We even met the owner, Chris, which made the experience feel even more personal. We also found out they do music bingo on Tuesdays from 7-9 PM, which we're definitely coming back for. Great food, great drinks, amazing service, and an all-around awesome vibe. 5 stars all the way!

We decided on a high-top towards the end of the bar since the Colts were being shown there. As for the interior, it's a typical sports bar setting with copious amounts of seating and tvs with your standard bar foods menu and plenty of beers and branded spirits available for order. We stuck with the miller lite which was pretty cheap and they always made sure it was full when we finished the previous one. As for food, I decided on wings with a jalapeno peach and the dirty jerk dry flavors. No issues with taste; the jalapeno peach is a solid one with a good blend of spice and sweetness. I'm a bit disappointed that for 10 wings, only 9 came with my order and when I mentioned it to our server/bartender, it went ignored. He probably didn't hear me bring it up since more people started coming in and the place was getting full. I should've brought it up again but likely got distracted by my team's lousy performance. I'm open to coming back here again. While this place is like any other sports bar, the affordable beers and that jalapeno peach flavors shouldn't be ignored.

We stopped in for a quick drink and some food, but before we even had the chance to settle in, things immediately became chaotic with security. The moment we walked in, my brother-in-law was treated differently, and it was very clear it was based on his race. This happened without any cause--we had literally just entered the building. What makes this even more upsetting is that he works protecting this city and knows the law very well, yet none of that mattered. No one should be treated this way, especially when they are simply trying to enjoy time with family. If this is how random customers are treated at the door, I can't imagine how other situations are handled inside. This used to be one of my favorite places to go for karaoke, drinks, and a quick bite, but that has now been completely ruined. I would not recommend this place, and I will not be returning.
