I had a couple of sides, while my friends each tried different menu items. Everyone agreed the food was tasty, flavorful, and definitely worth the stop! I had three small pieces, and it reminded me of extra-crunchy skin at places like Krispy Krunchy Chicken. The meat was tender and not too hot. 2 sides are included, and the amount of red beans & rice I got was larger than a mere side. Real Southern Cooking is indeed one of those places that fits the Southern diner stereotype, including the good food at a low price. Not totally Texas, but totally Southern.
