Shout out to the team here! Heidi had a lovely welcome experience from booking to checking in. She did a tour and a warm welcome with cocktail. The fire pit was great. There was an honor bar at the pool which was fully stocked and had an amazing set up and selection. Marco had such great attention to the resort. He was very hospitable and greeted me by name because he knew it must've been me because we had two dogs. Personalization goes a long way!! The breakfast in the morning was right on time and service was great. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, orange juice, coffee, and warm croissants. Although our stay was brief, it was so tranquil and gave us all the R&R we needed. We will definitely return. Thank you Chef Crista and the entire team for a great weekend. We can't wait to return.

    I mean . . . .

The main star at boon isn't the sparkling swimming pool, or the towering redwoods, or the mad stylish comfy room. The main star is the culture of hospitality that Crista Leudke and her staff have created. From check in, to poolside drinks and snacks, to a lovely breakfast delivered promptly at our requested time, it is very clear that the guest experience is at the very tippy top of the priority list. We only had a short stay but when I tell you I could happily disappear here for a week . . No lie, so many places rest on their laurels in terms of good location, good design but the game changer is always the humans - and boon has all the right humans. Special shout to Marco who was wearing SO many hats the weekend we were there and still managed to be responsive and accommodating. I love it here.

Darling little hotel boutique with so many amenities nestled among the redwood! Great and attentive staff! We enjoyed our little getaway and definetly visit again!

I absolutely love it here, it's one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms are really cute and have record players. I love the honor bar and how you're basically just left alone while you're here. It feels very homey. Great breakfasts too. I've stayed here and never left the property all day (except walking to downtown Guerneville for meals), but there are also some wonderful places to visit nearby: Armstrong Woods, Healdsburg, Jenner... I always try to stay on a weekday when it's basically empty. It's a really special place, I highly recommend it!

A Perfect Retreat at The Boon Hotel and Spa in Guerneville, CA The Boon Hotel and Spa in Guerneville, CA, is an ideal place to relax and recharge, whether you're alone or with friends. We visited with some business colleagues and had a fantastic time. The property exudes a hip, modern vibe and is impeccably clean, welcoming, and professionally run. Our room was spacious and uncluttered, equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast delivered to our room was delicious, and it provided the perfect amount of food and beverage before our hike at nearby Armstrong Woods. Some rooms feature a private tub on the back porch, where you can soak with a glass of wine while gazing up at the trees. The cabins surround the pool area, which boasts a sizeable inground jacuzzi, a fire pit, and numerous comfortable chairs and lounge areas. Thanks to the extensive honor bar by the pool, we didn't have to worry about drinks or snacks. My husband enjoyed a much-needed massage at the on-site spa, which was incredibly relaxing. The Boon staff greeted us with smiles and were very accommodating throughout our stay. This is a fantastic spot in a charming town. We had dinner on the main street at Road Trip, where the food was delicious, the place was packed, the service was amazing, and we all enjoyed our meals. As owners of Wine Tour Pros, we travel extensively and often have clients who stay in this area to hike and then join us for a wine tour. We will definitely recommend The Boon Hotel and Spa to them from now on. Cheers!

Boon was such a gem! An amazing enclave tucked away about .5mi outside of downtown Guerneville. Its quiet, clean, safe, and a nice break from the busy town center. Loved that they have complimentary breakfast and bike rentals too!

Favorite spot for a casual, romantic getaway with my husband. It's within a short drive of amazing restaurants and wineries. The fire pit in the courtyard provides a nice place for a glass of wine and a book in the afternoon. The hot tub is open all hours and with a self-serve honor bar, so you can chill all night after a long day of hiking, biking, wine tasting, eating, etc. The rooms are cute and nicely renovated with your own record player and a collection of vintage records to play. The rooms are spacious enough for 2. We loved our morning breakfast (included with in the room) on the little wooden table by our own private patio. The spa has amazing massages (highly recommend!) Each guest gets their own robe and amazing toiletries. Their hospitality is outstanding- I was sick and they did everything they could to make me feel comfortable- and they checked on us to be sure we were taken care of. Boon is turning into a yearly tradition for my husband and I.

Continental breakfast with a warm hard boiled egg, a croissant type of apple muffin, a parfait, OJ, and coffee - perfectly executed

If you are looking for a dog friendly, rustic retreat in the redwoods, Boon is your place. No TVs, no cell service, so bring a good book or an excellent conversationalist. ... rustic cabins with attention to detail, each room with a fire place, record player, Malin+Goetz products in the bathroom, continental breakfast, pool, hot tub, bikes to ride into town, and a small functioning farm (chickens, garden, etc), and even spa services My favorite thing is the honor bar at the pool. You have your old school card like an hourly employee to punch in and you track how many drinks you've had and it's all on the honor system. No a/c in the summer (but very few places here have it at all) - box fan available though. Overall, a solid rustic resort for a weekend getaway to unwind. Strongly recommend

Boon was a perfect, charming getaway. Staff was warm and thoughtful, and took COVID precautions very seriously while making smart decisions (like assigned pool loungers strategically distanced) to make the stay still calming and relaxing while being safe. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning, including fresh eggs from on-site hens, which was a treat. The room had such character and was so comfortable and cozy. We can't wait to return!

    Breakfast is just perfect!

Honestly, our stay couldn't have been nicer!! The room was cozy and comfy, the fireplace was lovely, the breakfast was perfect, the pool area is stunning with the open fire and the self serve bar. There were plenty of activities for fun, bikes for a ride up to the red woods and the staff was fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

If you're looking for the best adult only hotel & spa in Guerneville, look no further than Boon! This place has everything: a chicken coop that provides fresh eggs every morning, a pool and jacuzzi that's open 24 hours a day, a team that's available at all times to make sure your stay is as wonderful as possible, an honor bar to enjoy while you sunbathe by the pool. And for the sports enthusiasts it even provides giant Jenga and Corn hole. 5 stars!

Second time here. Ahhhh---Maaaa---Zing!!! Adult only boutique hotel. Honor system bar with a fully stocked fridge and bar area to make any cocktail of your desires. Beer, cider, sodas, mixers, liquor, juice, coffee, tea, wine, champagne, etc. The rooms all have record players, excellent bedding. Guests have access to umbrellas, bikes, and a close walk to town. Spa services are available from massages to facials with an appointment. This visit was for only a night and we stayed in a smaller room than the previous visit. I recommend paying the extra $25 a night for the larger room with its own balcony. The bathroom in the smaller room was, well, smaller. And when you're paying a lot for the room, as it is a luxury stay for a teacher, it's worth it. But room 11 was situated perfectly at the end of the building and far enough away from the road to not hear cars. Despite being a smaller bathroom, there was a small window, which was nice for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable too. No phones in the room, no television either. Be ready to unplug. Breakfast comes with the price and is served 8:30-10:30, and it's a perfect size for two. Forgot to take pictures of the breakfast this time. Freshly made cinnamon style croissants, hard boiled eggs, small fruit cup, orange juice and the best coffee of my life! The coffee came in a French press and was absolutely creamy and delicious, even black. Yes, creamy black coffee. A little carafe of cream came with it. Breakfast is all served on the cutest silver tray. When finished you put outside. I absolutely love this place and am already saving for my next visit. Armstrong redwoods is up the street and the town is in walking distance. Highly highly recommended!!

We rented a home through VRBO and thought it would be a treat to have a catered meal from Epicurean Escape. The price was over $1000 but seemed well worth it and we paid the bill 10 days prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, if not unbelievably, we were alerted by VRBO the very next day that our contract was being cancelled as the rental house had just been purchased by a new owner. Thinking we might have to cancel the trip as VRBO might not have an alternative (they did not), we immediately contacted the caterer that we would have to cancel plans. This was 9 days prior to the planned dinner. The caterer then informed us that this was beyond their normal 10 day cancellation policy and there was nothing they could do other than a (hold your breath) 25% refund!! provide a 'credit' - a great idea for a group of 8 with most of us living thousands of miles away, or assisting us in relocating to a new venue. We eventually located a hotel where we could stay and proceeded with the trip - still very much disappointed with the caterer for not refunding our money with 9 days prior notice (along with forwarding them the note of cancellation from VRBO). With a $150 delivery fee charged by the caterer for delivery to our hotel, and no way for us to warm the food in our rooms, we anticipated the meal would arrive on serving trays with sterno heaters. But of course not.. The server who delivered the food was very nice and accommodating (we tipped them as well even though the paid contract already included an 18% gratuity fee). We began eating immediately, only to find all the food (fish and beef main courses) at room temperature. Perhaps everything would have tasted better had it been heated, but classifying the meal as 'mediocre' would be overly kind. Making matters worse (if that's possible), we have been promised a 'final' contract as three of the planned attendees could not attend, and the caterer agreed to 'adjust', only to never hear back from them almost 2 weeks later. Inflexible policy + less than thrilling meals = at least in my book, an experience worth avoiding at all costs. Caveat emptor.
