In April I got married and so I went looking for a place to stay for a mini honeymoon. The hubs and…read moreI were looking for a short and small getaway close to home (we'll be taking a longer honeymoon in August). I bought a deal for this place from Living Social. We had never gonna wine tasting before so this was our first time! This place had good reviews and the pictures of this place looked too cute. We drove all the way here from Davis. The trip was a little longer than what we expected. And all I can say is most GPS's don't know how to get you here and google maps isn't very smart. So follow the directions in the e-mail that they send you!! This place is owned by Marcia and Tony. I worked with Tony over the phone for my reservations. He wasn't the quickest with technology and taking down my information so you should have patience or make reservations online - FYI I made mine over the phone because of the Living Social deal. When we got there to check-in, we found Tony was away and Marcia was left to handle things on her own. She's a very sweet lady. She's also the one that makes all the food! Amazing cook!! The rooms are very cozy. The hubs was impressed the high-tech door lock that used a number pad. I liked that the room was like a mini 1 bedroom cottage. It had a very romantic feel to it, which was perfect. We made sure to take advantage of the fireplace and the whirlpool tub. But I think my favorite part was the bed! Very soft sheets and you just melt away into sleep. The only issue we had with the room were the bugs. Now don't let that scare you. It's just that my hubby extremely dislikes bugs. We found 2 baby spiders, 1 yellow jacket, 3 mosquitos. I think bugs are bound to get in and they weren't much of a problem for me to handle. Now the food! Yes it is also a B&B afterall. First day: we were served 4 muffins with pecans on top and honey and butter on the side. YUM!! Next was a slice of baked pineapple with toasted coconut shavings - never had this combo before and it was good. The main course was poached eggs with polenta. I was a bit skeptical, but it was good too! There was juice as well. Hubs and I opted for the pomegranate juice. Second day: margaritas with no alcohol, but still tasty! There was also homemade granola and I'm a fan of granola. The main course was BELGIAN WAFFLES! They were loaded with fruit and some bacon on the side. YUM YUM YUM! I'm a huge fan of the food here. Marcia is great! FYI, she also makes a cake every night that you can go into the main lodge and get some. The first night there was an apple cake that was just soooo good. She even gave me the recipe for it. Note: when you check-in, they ask about food allergies etc. Hubs is lactose intolerant so Marcia made sure to not put any cheese in the polenta or yogurt in the margarita.

There were candy in bowl on the dresser. Two luggage racks available for our use. There's a backdoor that leads to the patio. There's plenty of parking for guests. Good number of rooms. It wasn't overcrowded. There's also a wide selection of DVDs that guests could borrow. There were two wine glasses await on the dresser. If you want to read more, please read my previous review. I love going here in the summer. It was warm for sure. We rented bikes at Cloverdale Cyclery.

Do not believe these reviews! 5 star!!…read more I came booked 2 nights & then added 2 more I felt so at home. The staff appears to be family. Most were very helpful. One I dealt with wasn't listening well & got a slight attitude with me for repeating what i said slowly after asking her to add my already paid nights to room key card. She said we don't match prices. I smiled & said I just need to add access to room for the additional night I already paid for. Her boss had handled it this morning. It was awkward. The rooms are large with views of mountains. Feel like you're in an apartment. Staff was helpful & kept room cleaned daily if I let them. I just emptied garbage & got towels. They have a nice pool hidden to side. A welcoming front office with a tv playing & couch. Plus hot coffee w a variety of pump creamers & oatmeal. Nice touch. The staff leave the desk at 11pm & retire on sight. Some are live in. So please let staff know if you'll be arriving later by calling or messaging. You'll be ringing bells at an empty desk wondering why when it's posted on their information. These reviews on here might be from previous owners managing or during covid but in my opinion they do not reflect the current hotel or management. They have jacuzzi tubs rooms too!!

I realize this room was only $100 a night but I've stayed at Howard Johnson's and Best Western for the same rate and it was MUCH BETTER.

It's about a mile from downtown Geyserville so not really walkable to restaurants. We booked a deluxe king room with a balcony from a third party site. On their web site, it's shows vineyard views. The room we were given had a view of the pool and freeway, which was quite loud with kids in the pool and car noise. For $220/night, I don't like to look at the freeway. Ask for a vineyard view if you go there. The rooms were nice, recently remodeled with a mini fridge, fireplace and comfy bed. Loud air conditioner and people talking in the hall detracted from ambiance. In the summer, they often have weddings or bands on the back lawn so be sure to ask about that. The Inn did give us a free wine tasting for two at Bannister in town, which was quite good. The Inn has wine receptions on some Fridays nights as well. Overall, I'd recommend but ask for a room that doesn't face the freeway or parking lot.

The girl at the front desk was so friendly. Stayed in room 209 which is upstairs. The rooms are nice. Our room looked out onto a vineyard. (Nice view without the hefty price : ) There is a small patio with a door too. It was nice to let in the cool breeze. Since Sunday was Easter Sunday, the grill next door was offering a discount on their brunch items. One small item....the bed linens seem to be kinda worn this time and not so fresh and crisp. I could hardly tell there were pillow cases on the bed pillows. Other than that it was a good overnight stay.

I enjoyed the complementary wine while reading my book. My room was clean and big with a gorgeous tub. Bring your own epson salts and bubbles if you want to use it. The mini fridge was full with drinks including wine, and snakes were reasonably priced. Breakfast was included. Different options to choose from. There's a restaurant in the premises but you have to make a reservation. The food was delicious. What I didn't like were the sheets. They had a strong chlorine smell. Still water had the same taste. I couldn't sleep properly thanks to the guests upstairs making noise at 5am on a Sunday. Who is awake so early? Jeez. It's common in old houses to hear the voices and footsteps I guess. Just ask to get a top room if you have a light sleep like me. Also, when receiving the receipt on the email, it'd be better if it explained the detail instead of just the $.
