Half an empty Loganberry pie after all the berries leaked out because it was extremely watery
    Bob 5.

So quite disappointed in this place a $20 pie that was absolutely disgusting extremely overly sweet and 90% tapioca this pie was extremely watery yet thick and rubbery like Jell-O with a browned top crust and a raw bottom crust plus grossly sweet absolutely a horrible pie, especially for 20 bucks. It was like a bed of tapioca all stuck together like one big gelatin mold with a handful of berries thrown on top just to try to fool you into thinking this was a real fruit pie when it was nothing more than tapioca so save your money buy the berries and make you own pie or go to Willamette Valley pie Company it's not that far away and trust me you'll be happy you made the drive

    Berries and farm eggs

Picked berries for the first time here and loved it. They have farm fresh eggs which is even better. Quick service and nice. Very happy will definitely be coming back.

I'm a big milkshake guy. Had a lot of milkshakes. Best. Milkshake. I've. Ever. Had. They even stayed late for up to make them.

Had a blast with my crew in spite of the terrible woman working at the cashier who made us feel so unwelcome!

I am shocked with how terribly my group was treated by the woman working the counter when we went to Boone's Berry Farm. I brought my sister and my niece here to go berry picking for the very first time because my usual places were closed (Smith Family Farm & West Union Gardens- both of which are AWESOME!!) We showed up around 10:30am today (August 3, 2020) so excited for our first berry-picking outing of the year. When we walked into the store to check in and grab a palette, we were met with a woman working behind the counter who CLEARLY did not want us there. Here is how the conversation went: Me: Hi! We are here to pick berries! Cashier: Okay... well what are you gonna put 'em in? Me: Oh, so sorry. Do you guys not provide buckets? Cashier: Uh... No. Me: *awkward silence as I turn to look at my sister unsure what to do next.* Cashier: We SELL a box... it's not provided... *eye roll* Me: Oh, okay. We'll take some boxes. *super uncomfortable at this point.* Cashier: *scoffs* How many do you want?... It was just so weird. I am honestly baffled by the attitude and disrespect that we received from this woman. She was so unnecessarily obtuse and difficult- like she was upset with me for not already being aware of their policy?? I could understand if we had come in and approached her with some sort of bad attitude first, but that's not even close to what had happened! I am incredibly offended and upset by the way we were treated and I don't understand. The only thing I could possibly imagine is that I am heavily tattooed and my sister has bright pink hair. Maybe she was off-put by our alternative style? I really have no idea and I'm just trying to come up with some sort of explanation as to why she would be so incredibly rude to us without any sort of cause. Not only did she make my sister & I uncomfortable, but my niece who is 10 was upset. Had a great time with my family & got lots of yummy berries and cute pics in spite of the cashier, but I will NEVER come back here; clearly I am not welcome. I wish I would have had the guts to ask for her name, but I was so embarrassed that I felt uncomfortable doing so. I don't know if she is part of the family who owns the farm or if she's an employee or what- regardless, I think it's important to know just how terribly she made our experience and how unwelcome we felt for no reason & my sister and I wanted to share our experience so that others don't make the mistake of coming here only to leave feeling as upset and unwanted as we did. Take your business elsewhere where it will be appreciated: Smith Family Farm is phenomenal and West Union Garden's is the place I've been going for 15+ years You can't go wrong with either of those places!

    MOLDY Blueberries.
    Scott C.

BAD BLUEBERRIES! MOLDY! Bought a bunch of different berries. Got home and half way down the berries were full of MOLD. Too far to drive back so I went to Happy Valley Farmers Market to ask about it. I asked them if they put good berries on top of MOLDY ones. "Uh, no." I see. "we can look at bottom of pint for you." They would not replace my crap pint. "I'm sorry" isn't good enough. So beware of Mold. I would take an empty pint and pour into another one. IF I was going to buy more. NOT.

    Delicious hoods strawberries!

Very great farm with very delicious strawberries. They have 2 varieties: sweet ann- large and crunchy and hoods - softer and sweeter. This year they also strarted to offer lots of yummy foods options: strawberry shortcake, berry milkshake, strawberry salad, berry sandwich and croissants, etc., with very reasonable price. With the extra rain we have this year, they need more support because it is bound to be a short season for the strawberries. They also have goats and pigs to keep the little kids entertained.

But if you do want a fantastic Farmers Market experience, you must head down to Wilsonville on Thursdays from 4-8 and check out the Wilsonville Farmers Market. There is live music all night long, a variety of farmers offering great produce, and awesome local shops and foodcarts eager to please. Not to mention, cooking demos as well! There are some really super awesome Market Volunteers to answer your questions or help carry your new goods to your car. For their opening, they were doing a raffle for free produce for the rest of the summer! (hint: I hear that may be happening next week too). So ya, you should check it out.

It looks smaller than it is at first - the park has a small pond, and a trail that goes around the pond; the stalls are spread all around the outside of the trail, so not all are visible from any one point of the market. The trail is paved, and wide, and not that long - it's easy to navigate the market and not too crowded. I was disconcerted at first - I wondered where the farmers were at this "farmer's market" - until I got to the part of the loop where they had all been clustered. Keeping like stalls together makes it easy to compare options and prices.

Not as many farmers and producers present on a Wednesday but this is still a great market even with fewer participants. We filled up our cooler with fresh produce including organic salad greens, kira squash, romano beans, multiple kinds of grapes, kumquats (no kidding...the farmer grows these in a hoop house with other citrus), eggplant, and multiple kinds of pears, apples and plums. We also had a chance to talk to quince farmers who make quince paste, a fav of ours with Fall and Spanish cheese selections, and buy a couple of jars to tuck away. And bread selections from Wild Yeast including small rounds of sourdough whole wheat, hazelnut and cinnamon raisin batard all of which were available in whole loaf and smaller half loaf sizes. Wild Yeast mini rye pastry galette with local mixed apples as filling was the perfect breakfast treat and the mini Marguerite fougasse and cranberry Swiss cheese roll were dinner that night at our destination. If we lived in the Corvallis area we would be regular shoppers here and be able to buy the things like a marvelous assortment of microgreens, fresh made cheeses, pollinator plants and all sorts of produce that we didn't have room to bring home. ACCESSIBILITY: Street surfacing which is firm and stable works for shoppers of all abilities and since I was using a wheelchair on this trip I particularly appreciated that. Although the ADA is 33 years old and requires outdoor markets to be on surfaces that allow everyone equal access you would be astounded how many still set up on deep gravel lots or deep grass, neither of which allow disabled shoppers access. Good for the Corvallis organizers for getting this right!

My son is fixated on blueberries, so he happily sat on the grass and picked berries from the low hanging bushes while the rest of us focused on the marionberries. The highlight for my son is that the family that owns this farm are serious Oregon Ducks fans, so they get bonus points from him. There was only about 3 people already picking and while we were there probably only 10 other people came so there was plenty of space to pick with out people crowding you! There were 2 different kinds of blueberries although we only picked 1 kind, but gave a nice variety between sweet and tart. The owner was very nice and had buckets lined with bags all ready for us so we could just pick into the bucket and take out the bag when done and ready to take home. You also cannot beat the price at $1.75 a pound! I believe we looked at the organic farm in Portland and it was about $3.50 a pound and I am sure a lot more crowded. I am going to try and get back here again this year and definitely next year.
