I snapped a picture of his beautiful, state of the art trailer and he causally walked over and introduced himself. He did inquire as to why I took a picture of his very nice setup. I told him I was doing a Yelp review. He wasn't familiar with Yelp but said his wife was. I told him that I like to support local businesses and that Yelp could help him get more customers. I also told him that I bought a cup of his wonderful coffee last week and it really was a Pretty Bomb cup! Great coffee at great prices and genuinely friendly folks! He has been cheating on me with Sugar Daddyz's! We ended up ordering and sharing a half apple/ half plain with powdered sugar funnel cake. The gentlemen working were knowledgeable, personable and willing to sell me 2000 calories and a smile. I'm pretty sure they were the owners, their pride was showing through. The funnel cake came out rather quickly, cooked just right, texture of the funnel cake, was not greasy or tasted of old grease. It was a great funnel cake. What made this a winner for me was the portion and the freshness of the ingredients used. The apples were fresh and plentiful. It was so good. I was hoping that this funnel cake had SOMETHING I could complain about, for the sake of my diet and my hips, but no such luck. The place looked clean, owners were super nice and my funnel cake was delish. Like worth making a special trip to Gaffney for this. I found out the also have a food truck with the same name....wait, what??? They travel??? I now have a Sugar Daddyz's!!!! And have followed them on all instagram, so I can keep tabs on him!!!!
