This is a pretty decent road side bbq joint! Food was yummy and the staff are friendly. While we have had better bbq around the country, this place is worth a stop. Seating seemed adequate and they had outdoor seating as well. I got the brisket plate with mac n cheese and collards. It comes with hush puppies. My brother got the 2 meat plate with brisket, ribs, collards, and sweet potato casserole. Drinks were refilled quickly. The place was busy with dine-ins and to-go orders.

4.5 stars rounding up to 5 Stars. My wife and I got a BBQ plate and two sides to go. The BBQ is pretty close to as good as I've ever had. It was very moist and smokey. My collards were very good but could have used a little vinegar; my fault. The mac & cheese was very good also. My wife is a bit of a discriminating eater. She won't eat any food if it's not good. She liked her BBQ but she said her fries were lukewarm. She wasn't exactly crazy about her plain cole slaw either. Overall I did round this review up to five stars. I look forward to returning soon.

Brisket sandwich was delicious! The chef came around to ask if it was good. The decor was nothing special but it was clean.

This was my first trip to South Carolina and the first stop was Southern Manners - it did not disappoint! We had a huge group of ladies to celebrate our bride and the staff were all fabulous - big shout out to our cashier/server, Jaden! He was amazing and so accommodating with our 19 top. The ordering was as smooth as it could be and Jaden made sure to go around asking any questions he had about the orders. The food came out relatively quick considering how many people we had and I really appreciate the staff. The pricing was very reasonable and i would recommend if you're looking for a real home-y feeling restaurant with good food! In regards to ordering, we had special accommodations because we were a big group, but normal flow has customers ordering and paying when they walk in the door and then the food is brought to your table. It has a fast food vibe, but I didn't mind it! The line moved pretty quick while we were there. Can't wait to go back!

Many others who arrived after us were served before us. Even when we brought it to their attention, it took even longer. At the register, another customer was also complaining about the wait. So it seems that they lose some tickets while expediting others. Ambiance is waaay toooo loud! We will not return.

This is a converted home and really cute, I imagine if it was cold out they'd have the centrally located fireplace going, as is the AC was a welcome treat. We ordered a Southwest style omelette with hash browns and another two orders with French Toast, one with bacon the other with smoked sausage. The omelette was great, maybe bigger than expected, but that's always better than the alternative. The French Toast was also great, perfectly toasted with a nice batter. About the only complaint I can say is the server was a little overwhelmed and my dad had to go get the syrup. I would definitely recommend going for breakfast if you're in the area. Also, we had hash browns that good without have to ask that they be extra crispy.

So, the ambiance was amazing, the it smelled, hence the 4-stars. The service was fine, not stellar. They were busy with a full dining room and folks waiting for to-go orders. A local waiting on her order, was kind enough to chat while I waited on the one stall bathroom. She was so enthusiastic about the cafe I had to ask if it was her's. Nope. She ate there so often they knew her name and order. Nice endorsement. Our food was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. I'd order my cheesesteak sandwich again. It was a perfect balance of ingredients. My son's veggie quesadilla was loaded with garden fresh veggies. A hearty meal. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits, but his experience was that it was a delicious shrimp and grits chowder, not the usual grits topped with sautéd shrimp and a light sauce. Next time, we'll go in the fall and enjoy our meal outside. This is a great local stop. Try it. You'll enjoy it.

My daughter used to manage a German Restaurant, the owners being German immigrants, so she's pretty discerning when it comes to German food - let me tell you, she was absolutely blown away! She said hands down, all 3 items were the very best she's ever had. I opted for the Rueben, which, I was equally impressed with - the corned beef was tender, hardly any fat, and the dressing was to die for. Desert was equally as delicious, their Cheese cakes are nothing less than phenomenal - and lets just say their pasta salad and pimento cheese found its way home with us to enjoy with dinner that evening - amazing! I'd give them 100 starts if I could, a must stop if you're nearby - or worth driving if you're not. Can't wait until next year to come back!

They do not have a fryer so all menu items are prepared fresh. I had a Reuben Sandwich and pasta salad. (The sides are large!) We chose to split the Reuben since we have early dinner reservations and each got a side. Even at 1/2 the sandwich and side it was very filling. The sandwich was hot and delicious. The pasta salad was also very good. The desserts today was Banana Cake and Hawaiian Cake. I got a slice to go. Go for the good food and warm hospitality!
