This is my favorite coffee shop of all time. First it is located on the best street, second it has such wonderful warm and cozy vibes while still being impressively large for a coffee shop, and third it has the best scones ever. I love the selection of pastries and drinks they have, it feels unique and thoughtful and like you can't get it anywhere else. My favorite is the cinnamon chip scone which is buttery and flaky. Came because the deli we went to for taylor ham rolls didn't have coffee. The space is amazing and lovely for hanging out. the offerings for their in house roasted coffee were delicious and the specality lattes were creative. I got some latte with condensed milk and oreos, and I thought it had a risk of being too sweet and it was not until I got to the end and all the oreo grit was at the bottom but I thoroughly enjoyed the drink until then. Has a run club that meets in front of it in the morning. Lots of community space. Was getting ready to host a planter class. Finally made it here on Sunday after a couple reccos from friends! Boonton Coffee Co is located on busy Main St and roasts their own coffee. It's a big cafe. When you walk in, you go up a couple steps to order and then there's seating in rooms to the left and right. It has a very industrial feel with painted cinder block and exposed brick throughout. I even saw signs for concerts they host weekly. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and the pear/goat cheese toast. It was a little pricey but well worth it for the portion size. read more

I've been here a few times I really enjoy the quality of the coffee as well as the food that they have. I've consistently had the cappuccino here and really enjoy them. Whenever I feel it's not as foamy as I would like they always remake it for me. I am a frequent traveler to Italy, so I tend to be a little particular with my cappuccinos. The service is fast. It's a great place to meet up with friends or colleagues to chat. And the Greek yogurt parfait was delicious. read more

Boonton coffee is an amazing third space area. They frequently have shows and events going on and there's always people hanging out, so I absolutely love that. They also have a free drop and swap book shelf! I have gotten a bunch of different coffees from here, my favorite has been a nitro cold brew. That being said, sometimes the coffee is just not amazing. I've gotten iced lattes, cold brews, chais. It just doesn't wow me most of the time. Not to say it's bad in any way, just not the best. I loved that they had a staff favorites board and the pride cold foam in June. Overall, I think if their coffee was a smidge better tasting (it's a bit too bitter and bland for me) it would be one of my favorite spots. I haven't been here in a very long time- I don't know if they expanded it or maybe I sat outside last time. The staff was pretty nice and it was a nice place to stop in when meeting people. Went here last Summer and got a vanilla latte, it had good strong coffee but they did not put any vanilla in or sweetener of any kind. Iced black coffee. The line was too long to go back in. Today, the coffee was melted ice, no flavoring and the coffee was non-existent. Just because you smile and get paid badly, doesn't mean you shouldn't be taught correctly how to use the equipment and than charge me $10. a cup to throw it in the trash. Awful. Overrated. And comments about them serving people who came in after you are right on. This happened both times we went and we waited 10 full mins to be served. Best coffee in Morris County ? NOT EVEN CLOSE. If you've never been, it's a very cute, but pretty large, coffee shop that seems to have a loyal following. There were a couple people ahead of me in line, but it moved quickly. What a cozy place to make a stop for a high quality coffee! Knowledgeable baristas will tell you all about their roasting process (they have the machinery!), all the different single-origin beans they're procuring, and what other coffee roasters in the neighbourhood are worth a visit. The place is HUGE, the vibes are cozy, lots of repurposed vintage furniture around (one couch actually made us think of Friends!) and we saw lots of folks working on their laptops, sitting cozily with a cup of coffee around lunchtime; our team is definitely planning to come work remotely this way too! By far and away, Boonton Coffee is the premier third-wave espresso joint this far west in New Jersey. Once you go further west, it's just Starbucks and Dunkin'. The larger location they moved into in 2022, with its aesthetic and expanded seating options, really marked their arrival. Perhaps understandably so, it tends to be really busy inside. On my most recent visit, on a sunny Saturday at lunchtime, they had separate lines for ordering and paying, not dissimilar to lunchtime at the Chick-fil-A drive through. I tend to wait several minutes for my drink, owing to the single La Marzocco machine. I also find the espresso to be inconsistent. It ranges from acceptable to great. It's never bitter, but it can be hollow, and the finish can sometimes be unacceptably short. The in-store roasted beans are excellent, so the fundamentals are there. I get a huge kick out of how they also advertise wine and cheese plates. I've never seen anyone order them, but I'm not there in the evenings. read more

So the coffee is good as is the variety of pastries but that's where it ends. The parking situation sucks, the seats are uncomfortable unless you land on a couch which are taken up by the "hangout crew". general layout is terrible and the service is horrid. They have no clue how to process orders, how to keep tabs on which order should be filled first, it's a shit show. I was in the area on a Sunday afternoon and searched for cafe and this one came up being 3 minutes away. Well.......lucky me!! Just walking up the venue, I can already see it was a cool vibe. There was some same tables and seats on the outside. People were out there with their dogs enjoying the beautiful fall day. I went in and was absolutely surprised to see how big the inside was. There was three distinguished sections. But there were so many nooks and various seatings throughout the entire venue. There was oblivious stage for performance, many seatings for people to work and couches to chill. I ordered the cappucino with vanilla and the last available bagel. Best coffee in New Jersey! Visiting my husband's hometown for the holidays while staying at his parents and we came here almost everyday. I had the iced cookie butter latte and the iced peppermint bark latte both were delicious, smooth and caffeinated. My favorite one was the peppermint bark. I love me a good peppermint drink during the holidays and what a better one than at a local coffee spot. I also bought some of their Mexican coffee beans and Colombian that they sell in store and online now. We indulged in the chocolatey goodness of the Mexican coffee today and we will definitely be buying again. Service overall was great I spoke to some super friendly baristas. It is grand & has this badass modern black sleek exterior & when I walked in I literally was like "Omaagaaa I laaaave this place!" So Boonton coffee has changed its location (they just shifted to their left) and it's huge. Ample space, sit-chat-work-have a sip, it's an altogether new experience. Seems like a very popular spot to bring dogs as I've always seen multiple every time I'm here. Tried a couple of the pastries which are decent, but I'd say it's the coffee that keeps me coming back. Parking is a little tricky, but usually you can get a spot on the hill for 2 hours. However, I will mention there is very limited seating that is conducive to getting work done as the majority of the seats are small and rather uncomfortable. Additionally with so many dogs around and how crowded this place gets, it is not study friendly and so I'd recommend other places if you're coming for work. read more

The coffee is amazing, the toast is so so good. I could eat it for days. The cinnamon bun I had was a bit dry though. But nevertheless, this place is pretty much perfect. Also: last time I was here, there were two small dogs hanging out in the back room (pictured). So, if you were concerned about the pet friendliness, don't worry, it seems like you can bring pets easily! Although, I personally have not brought my dog before. Not only this, but there are cute events here like musicians and poetry reading which I totally recommend checking out! Overall I could not recommend this place more. 10/10, Best cafe ever!! This cafe is a must spot establishment when in the Booton area. It reminds me of a more hip roastery mixed with the kind of super inviting Friends show type of coffee spot that has both plenty of space and variety in their menu options. Not limited to their wonderfully sourced coffee beans and drinks, they also feature some fun dishes and drinks such as wine, cheese, chocolate fondue and well as pastry items. While I don't live super closely to this area, I definitely could see the appeal with the locals to use this spot as a destination to WFH. There are desks, outlets, and tons of natural light in a large space. While I really enjoyed stopping into this eclectic cafe, the price point was a bit high for a suburban coffee joint and the pastry (blondie) did not taste very fresh or well made. I loved this place, but one of the baristas said some highly inappropriate things that drove me right out. First when my partner and I walked in he greeted me by insulting how big my glasses' prescription was. Later, he went up to a group of girls and said a couple of nsfw sentences loudly to where my partner and I had no choice but to just listen. Before he left said group of girls he said, "I am always walking around with headphones on, so I look autistic." Best coffee place in NJ, no doubt. My morning routine is the best drink ever, an iced caramel latte. Maybe the best coffee drink I've ever had. Combined with great atmosphere, food and dogs this is the spot. It has I would say the most attentive, efficient, and hard working staff I've seen in an establishment. The apartments on "Friends" are cruelly unrealistic, but Boonton offers something even better than Central Perk. The space is surprisingly vast, with an impressive variety of seating options. I opted for the simple set-up by the window but there's also a couch, a desk and more. The cortado was expertly crafted and I felt 74% more awake after consumption.
